It’s really something else to try to focus on finances and yard work and whether or not we need a new roof, all while the constant threat of a fascist removal of any and all rights i hold dear just, uhhh, hovers stage-right of things. Really just. The kind of adventure that most has me craving boredom, tbh.

#current events #like yoooo not sure how I’m meant to hide? if it all goes to shit??#I’m legally on record as being married to a woman #and even if I wasn’t I like. i look so gay dude #my entire online history is gay. my house is full of gay. my life is recorded in rainbow ink.#so I’m sitting here thinking about HYSAs and buying a new toilet and what kind of job I’ll get in the near future #and about the silly books I write and the silly things I love doing #and there’s just this omnipresent shadow over it all #until I feel like a human panic attack #and like. this is just it? i guess? this is living? because the people in charge sure ain’t gonna fix it #i crave consequences for awful people but jt just. just feels like all the consequences are saved for people who are just living their lives #and that is. uh. bad. to live through with no end in sight.#(so uhh yeah. begging US folk to vote blue. begging US folk to fight back. begging US folk to hold those blue folk accountable.)#(cuz I am. really beginning to lose…any sense of hope I had)#(and that plus the most helpless in my personal world I’ve ever been? bad. bad combo.)
