Im so sorry this is strange to ask but, in your narufox au, how many generations down the line does it take for someone to have animal clan blood but not show any features? Like i’m assuming at one point descendants of someone who say, had kids with a non-animal clan member or a civilian, and never again had offspring with an animal clan would stop showing any visible traits after a while? akiwowkww im just curious to know how dominant/recessive this all is, and if it’s recessive: is it possible for two people two people with the same animal clan bloodline running through them to have a child showing these animal traits even though the parents don’t have them??🤔🤔🤔

Gonna be honest w you, I did not think that far 😅 Also there's naturally some magic involved so no need to stress much about it.

But if I had to say... My logic was that as long as the person is related to that clan they'll have some sort of trait even if they get weaker or more discreet with how far they are born from the "main line". Like Tsunade, who's got Uzumaki blood only from her grandmother Mito and so her ears and tail are not as natural to show as Naruto's or Karin's. And also even siblings could present differently, like Hana who has 3 dogs while Kiba only has Akamaru.

But also I have not really thought about what would happen if two people from the same clan had a child, because I like to forget that that happens in the original story, so take it as the "Clan person X Civilian/Different Clan person" situation being the norm.

If you're doing it because it's interesting to you in any way, it's not pointless! That IS the point! The sooner you get that in your head, the sooner you'll be free! 😌 (says idiot still working on that) Who's never posted something they were happy with after working for hours, only to notice a bunch of mistakes and details that could improve?! (I already spotted like 5 things I would change in the InoSaku gender swap I just posted. It literally always happens) relax and let go, you'll get it right next time.

Also there's no such thing as "bad idea", you can always go back and change whatever you don't like later. One of the first redesigns I made for Sakura in this blog was probably the NaruFox Shippuden one - back then she had the headband turned to the back of her head, because I wanted the bow on top. A few ideas suggestions and feedback, and me going back to it a few times, and I found a better way to make it work! Do it for the fun of it, and if it's not the best it could have been, thag's an excuse to try it again and have more fun with it.

I think I just sped read all of narufox. It is SO good! I’ve been wracking my brain., but who’s the fourth uchiha? I can identify Sasuke, OBITO and Itachi, but not the long haired one 😅

Sorry if I missed any of your thoughts on this, I’m not caught up on Narufox AU but will there ever be a happy redemption for Kabuto, do you think, like the rest of the other characters? I think I read one of your asks before where you said you don’t like him and I totally respect that but I’m just curious because he’s my personal favorite lol. If not, again I totally respect that!! Either way, I think all your comics are really cute and they bring me so much joy :)

I have no plans of rendemption for him :'( And mostly because I want him to be bad enough for it, he's basically taking Orochimaru's spot but for real this time and as much as I love Orochimaru as a character he was totally unforgivable to me.

I also wanted Kabuto to go "all the way" because that's all I dislike about his character, I could have gone with him being a spy and one of the good guys instead, but I really thought he'd be more fun as THE bad guy.

I hope you understand that I'm doing this as a good thing for him and not just making him evil because I dislike him, since I'd much rather have a character be really evil and fully commited to his role, than not having a defined goal to stick to.

Hi there 😊! I really like your Narufox AU you're doing, and I have a question. Is Kankuro gonna get any development in this AU, because it seems that so far, Gaara and Temari are the only ones getting all the spotlight, and he's being left behind, and that's a little sad 😔. With Gaara getting the spotlight in the chunin exams arc, and Temari getting it now that she's the new Kazekage. When will it be Kanks turn to shine? Just a question, and thx for everything you do, your art is awesome and you're great!

I decided to read the manga again from start to finish last year - and holy shit it's been almost exactly a year - because I was already falling back into Naruto, but checking the fandom I noticed there was A LOT I didn't remember... and I started doodling many ideas for changes I would have liked better back then... One day Naruto came out with the fox ears in a random doodle and everything fell into place :)

Hey people here's my Art vs Artist :)

Last year I had kind of a block that stretched through almost all of this year as well. Posting the NaruFox AU got me to actually start drawing regularly again and I even started taking drawing lessons. I'm actually feeling excited about my art for the first time since college.

So despite basically not drawing for nearly 9 months I think this was a good year. Thanks everyone who followed me and thank you for all the comments, asks, keyboard smashes in the tags... I truly appreciate it and it motivates me a lot!

If you could fix ino how would u fix her or make improvements?

I'm already doing some of that in the NaruFox AU, but as a character I feel like she has the same problem as Chouji and team 8, which is they were introduced as pretty much the protagonists' childhood friends and left us (me at least) wanting for more of and from them... Only to barely ever appear doing much again. So all of them are kind of one dimensional compared to other characters like Shikamaru, Gai, the sannin... To fix or improve is though when you don't even have much to work with in the first place...

I don't like that Ino in particular is reduced to a shallow girl who only cares about boys and her looks. I don't even remember the exact words, but Asuma dies and all he has to say to her is 'don't lose to sakura in love'? a student he saw growing and training, who he should know about the weaknesses and strenghts in combat, her personality, family, dreams and wishes... but obviously she wasn't developed enough to have any of that so that's all we know about her.

Hmm I'd start with that, but also get her more friends outside the main teams, she felt like the popular and extroverted kid to me she should be that girl who knows everybody. I would not make her end with Sai, because, just like Sakura and Hinata, feels disrespectful to her character and in their case it's also terrible to Sai as well. (I mean this based only on the naruto manga, not including any blank period content added afterwards). With changing her not to be moved by boys and looks only I'd change her outfit too. It looks cute, but it has bothered me ever since I first saw it when I was a teenager... Shikamaru and Chouji are all full uniform and armor right beside her and she looks like she's about to go take a walk on the beach :(

Can you expand on that difference of the teams meeting each other you mentioned in one of your NaruFox posts?

I'm guessing you mean what I said around the end of the recovery/vote part. Yes, I hoped I'd have the chance to do that in the story sooner or later... But it's actually not that big of a deal... I have so many little ideas all over the story that just keep slipping away in order of priority and plot 😖

So the idea for this was that... the kids had their graduation test one day and got their results on a different day. In case they'd pass, they'd get assigned the team number and the time and place to meet their new teacher, separately. Naruto probably did not pass the test again since he can't do the clone jutsu, so he would still go out to make some sort of trouble (this is the part I haven't worked out yet), but not stealing the shadow clone scroll. He doesn't learn how to do that, but is still somehow approved, kind of last minute, and assigned to team 7.

That's why Naruto meets the team outside the academy and is "late", also why Kakashi is surprised that he gets the "fox boy" at the start :)

To add to that I imagine Hinata already knew Kurenai would be her teacher if she graduated, but not who would be the team. And team 10 should more or less guess they'd be together, since they were already preparing for that together.

I just have to say, I adore you NaruFox art - I think you're just so talented and your art brings me so much joy, I can't wait to see how it devolpes further, no pressure of course tho! I'm such a sucker for Team 7 as family shenanigans, kinda happy you're not doing shippy things either tbh with you (tho love sakuino) - love that you've allowed all of the team to grow together too - Wish Kishi did that in the manga - my personal headcannon is that Naru was the sun, Sas the moon & Saku the earth yanno - but it's cool that you're not really gnna touch on that or the war arc - sorry for the long message!
