Idk why people say that the ROP Elrond is a bad Elrond, look at his little face,,,

Tell me the face he makes at Durin when he’s teasing him isn’t the same face he makes and Celebrían and his kids when he’s teasing them,,,

Honestly I think anyone who says Rings of Power/Rob Aramayo’s Elrond is bad just hasn’t watched any scenes. He’s giving kind as summer he’s giving a strange and lonely creature the chance to be lovely, to be young and to be learning and to be warm and soft and caught between friendship and duty and being selfless as much as he can be. He’s a wonderful Elrond and is far closer in personality to the Elrond in the books than Hugo’s/PJ’s Elrond. I didn’t think I would ever love a version of Elrond more than Hugo’s Elrond but wow was I wrong. Robert Aramayo and the RoP team are giving us an incomparable version of Elrond.

The scene between Durin and Elrond in the mine was so intimate and emotional it was so fantastic. Please don’t make me think about Celebrían hehehe fr tho this show is wacky and insane and unpredictable and I’m loving the ride! But I have no idea how they’re going to handle Celebrían. I hope they include her and I hope the relationship she and Elrond has is given the same respect and time investment as the friendship between Durin and Elrond, and romantic relationship between Durin and Disa. I don’t want Celebrían to be there just for the sake of it, I want her to be the love of Elrond’s life. I want their romance to be epic and to also be grounded, for them to be friends as well as totally devoted to one another. But again, this show is insane so fuck knows how they’ll handle it. Smh 💖
