Just a rant about a lady painting over her family art. (Probably won't make much sense)

So I just watched a tik tok of this lady who wanted everyone at her wedding to paint something on a canvas(she asked for an abstract) and it was so quiet every line, swirls and heart was so different and full of personality. But she wanted "abstract" Piet Mondrian vibes which is fine he's a great artist but if you had a vision for art at you wading then why not have someone paint exactly what you want.

Instead she painted over everything because abstract isn't "love hearts" and it broke my heart to see every painted stroke put on there by family and friends just erased because it didn't match the vibe she was going for. It just reminded me of the sad badge mom hiding there kids art because it didn't go with there "aesthetic"

This activity looks so fun to have at a wedding it's a way to have everyone be a part of the wedding and to remember that special day in a creative way instead of the common photos and videos. Each paint stroke was done by someone they probably. Also most of the people there are probably close family and friends and it was a way to almost leave their mark saying they love and appreciate this couple in their next step in life together and this bride and grow decided that everyone art was not up to standards so they painted over it. I thought the point of this kind of group art was meant to show how different and creative everyone is in one canvas showing their love and support for the couple.

I get it's their wedding and they can do whatever they want but if she doesn't want everyone putting their own emotions into the canvas with their art then why not have painter paint exactly what she wanted. It just breaks me hard for some reason to see people art being painted over because someone else decides it isn't up to her their standards. It might be from my meds or because I'm too emotional but where she saw a bunch of messi heart and lines I saw people's emotions whether they put a lot or a little it was there. If it was my wedding I would cherish every single stroke of paint because I care about my family and if they take the time to celebrate with me and even do a silly little art project like painting all on one canvas I would love every heart and circle they put there whether or not it looked "Pinterest" worthy because it would be my art that my family made for me with there thought and love. I could never paint over their love because it didn't fit my ascetic. That art was an original no one else could make a duplicate it. I'm probably crazy for caring so much but I do.

So I love theorizing fanaf but shit there no way I could type my theories out not because I fear the death penalty you get for a controversial theories but my brain can barley function when I talk about it added on to my dyslexia Id crumble just typing out a normal concrete theory. The only strong opinion I have would be people simping over the animatronic, there kids probably like 8 years old if you simp over fredy your simping over the ghost of a child . Now my controversial opinion is that dream theory is better than the mess of faz gew we got right now. Idc how his described in the books or if he is supposed to be hot they need to stop casting these hot men as horrible people, make them slightly bad with redeemable qualities or just horrible to others but good to hear but no they give us this man but happy endings. I get the whole don't judge a book by it cover but maybe we should be saying don't simp for a book by it cover cuz this chapters are breaking my dululu fantasy and I don't have enough will to take life and not have a happy ending for snow even though he is a horrible disgusting human with abs and jawline that could kill me and if be ok dieing in thoe blue ocean eyes

Ifk if I'm upset but the fact we could have had a anime with this amazing character design kills me and how it was all ruined because what a few spots didn't work out. INSTED THEU GAVE US A 3D ANIMATED MESS WITH NO DIRECTION THAT BARLY MAKES SENS... FORGET THAT MEAKES NO SENS. I have invested years YEARS of my life to see this two characters and if they originally where going to be two superficial kid show characters I could live with that it suck but I'd survive but the FACT that I was robbed of chat noir and ladybug in anime form has me PISSED alright. IM DEAD I WANT THE ANIME SO BAD IT WULD REVIVE OUT BROKE. FANDOM. there only so much happiness we can get from Gabriel agrest Karen faze picture 😭

I speculate a lot of my analysis of Lockwood and co(more like rants) because I haven't had the time to read the book but sometimes I can't stop thinking of how Lockwood might have used rapier as a way to distract himself from his past. Hes already shown to have skills when it comes to sword techniques and maybe that could be from his training but he's a little too good even Kipp is surprised at his talent. Lockwood being orphaned fave him a lot of time and he most likely didn't want to spend it just sitting around doing nothing so my best guess is he put all his loneliness sadness and anger out on his training . We saw Lucy do it when she was pissed off and spent hours in the basement just practicing to get that adrenaline out. Lockwood is crazily good at it I'm guessing he must have learned from his parents or sister probably how he would use it as an escape from the torment of his past. He lost he's last member of his family to a ghost so it adds on to the way he would practice so much at it to be prepared to kill a ghost the next time he saw one to be prepared then because he wasn't prepared when his sister needed him. He definitely blamed himself for everyone who died around him so he takes all his emotions out in practicing so when he's out in the real world he can put on his Lockwood mask and act like he's just like every other charismatic guy out there. Lockwood relatable in the sense his broke like a lot of us and he takes his emotions and bottles them up and to make sure there are no leeks he lets them out in training. Lockwood when picked apart always leads up to his sad bottled up emotions.

I can't stop thinking of how cute it would be if Lockwood stayed up late and his sleep deprived self started to doodle pictures of Lucy and her name in herts. He would scramble to cover his art with his plate when George came into the kitchen for a glass of water to third to notice Lockwood covering he's red face as he went back upstairs. The confusion of Luce and George when they see a chunk of fabric missing from the table and asking Lockwood about it but he's only response would be his deceptive smile and a shoulder shrug before turning around to hide his rosie cheeks hiding the cloths in his pocket. He would keep the clothes hidden in his room as a bookmarker as it is a permanent home .

Partly think the way Lucy holds herself up and doesn't take a shit from anyone is what made Lockwood fall for her. Lucy is not scared to defend herself when threatened and Lockwood is definitely attracted to that. I know I always bring up the way they look at each other but he always seems to be amused by her feistiness tho we don't see her like that much. Lockwood gives me those vibes of wanting a woman who is sweet and understanding but can get into witty banter with him. Hes constantly gives this smile when he's impressed with her whenever she snaps back at Georges or when she stole the ring before it was able to be stolen by someone else. He sees her in this light of wanting to be her mentor and learn from her but just be near her. I speculate that maybe Lucy reminds him of someone in his family who died and that way he was so fast to let her into his life. Lockwood definitely finds comfort in Lucy and whether it's just because her personality fits him vise versa or he sees her as a comfort of his past that can open him up to a new future. Lucy does something to Lockwood and it scares him how fast it's been able to affect him she wants to see the real Lockwood the broken child who has been lost and helps him heal . I can understand why he's scared the last time someone in his life made him feel safe they all died that way he's always trying to keep Lucy safe apologies the second the releases he's fuck up because he wants the comfort he ones had to keep it safe not let it go but he's also worried that if he opens up the door to far he will suck her in and scare her away. It makes me sad how they both want to help each other be the best version of themselves but are scared to make that jump. luce is scared that if she pushes him too hard on the difficult memories he has he will shut her out completely and he's scared if he opens up too much he's going to get her killed. We've seen the way he reacts to the agent who sacrificed himself for him and Luce during the auction we saw the real Lockwood the real scared boy who put the blame behind his politician smile and charming remarks he blames himself for so much all the weight on his shoulder and refuses to let Lucy see that weight because he thinks it will crush her the second she sees it. Lockwood Lucy George and basically everyone needs therapy but Lockwood specifically needs to at some point address his past issues because the weight will brake him and idk if I want to see how Lucy will help him because that screen where she nearly kisses him putting there for heads together was so amazing but I also feel horrible that he's going true all this alone for the fear of having someone else's death on his shoulders. #lockwood need therapy

The fact that these two can have the perfect kissing moment without actually kissing is astonishing. They are the embodiment of "just a friend". They are literally two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly and I think that adds on to their mountain of way they should ignore their feelings and act like they're fine just being friends. Their perfect relationship that gives off old couple vibes stems from what I think is understanding each other's boundaries, connection from a similar goal of stopping ghosts from hurting others and being able to communicate true their eyes.

Lockwood and Lucy both Have had their fair share of disagreements together but they never purposely crossed a boundary when it's set. Lockwood says he doesn't like talking about his past or keeping one room in the house lock from everyone and Lucy respects even though she shows curiosity she never presses him on it or tries to figure out his past. Lucy only reminds him that if he wants to open up she is there to listen even though she does show frustration when he blows her off I think she only a to tha way because after all she went true with nori putting herself out there is a hurdle she still working on overcoming but still trying her best to not push him to far. Same with Lockwood talking about your past is a foreign subject to him he still tries his best to understand Lucy and even apologize when he realizes the reason he didn't know about Lucy best friend who was ghost locked was because he didn't ask . When he puts her in the spotlight and doesn't release how he's been making her feel suffocated he apologizes and explains the way he acted that way and had real productive conversations even telling her he believes her about being able to talk to leave 3 ghost. They both have crossed each other's boundaries but learnt from their mistakes and handled it like mature adults.

Their common goal for being ghost hunters is what brought them together all their trauma comes from ghosts whether a host caused it or the ghost hunting life caused it. Lockwood was orphans because of ghost and it explains his animosity toward them and only wanting to finish a job not really caring about how or way the ghost died or way when he saw the silhouette of the man who died in there door way he seems so bothered by it's glow. Lucy even with being forced into the business by her mom losing her education best friend who was her only real family and her "normal" life she wanted to pretend she had she still cares for this ghost when she sees they need closure or help. They both do this business whether it so save the live they couldn't save or because they where forced into it with no way out they've both bonded over the sleepless nights in the kitchen studying ghost patents and old news posters. They both got into this business for not so happy reasons but it seems to have brought them the perfect person to be happy with.

They have communicated many times but the way they are just able to look at each other's eyes and know what the others think no matter what they say on the outside. Without question they are a walking 😍 emoji when left alone together. Luce can calm him when his panics just by looking eyes with him. He can calm her with just quick contact and a smile. They both could just sit together barely speaking and just lovingly look at each other no matter what going on Lockwood always is trying to find an excuse to look at her and even forget that her been staring at her. Luce has probably already over analysed how Lockwood talks of his jacket or how he plays with his hair. Lockwood already memories the different shades of orange and browns in Lucy's eyes. How do these two seem to give out more romance than a smut book with only 10 seconds of eye contact these two making eye contact should be rated R because of all the sexual tension between them. If there is a power outage just have Luce and Lockwood make eye contact the sparks will keep u running for years no more electric bill. This two will forever be my most love and hated ship for how much romance they go be out but how frustratingly slow they are

Lucy and Lockwood are such a frustrating ship because these moments where u can clearly see the line between friendship and lovers is so obvious. Lucy cares about Gorge and Lockwood but the way she runs to them makes me want to yell. She slaps George and helps him up making sure hes ok but with Lockwood the second she hears his voice she literally throws herself at him crawling to make sure he's ok she doesn't even speak she just rest her hands on his legs and with whatever strange he has left he hold her had and they just have eye contact. George can see it we can see. if love was radioactive they would be Chernobyl in denial. The love and hate relationship I have with those caricatures isn't healthy but dam it's addicting to overanalysis every second these two are in the same frame.

Gorge already knows about the sexual tension between Lockwood and Luce and I think a part of him is also scared because he has no control over it there are no books or papers that can help him understand what to do when your best friend whose also your boss has feelings for your associates that u don't trust and when u start to notice how he's prioritizing her whose he's only know for a couple of months over u whose he's know for years that must cause him a incredible amount of anxiety. Gorge left his home family and job(fired from it actually) to start this business with his friend and the second they finally hired some to grow their business the boss(Lockwood) got feelings for her. If I was in gorges place I would be freaking out starting business with friends is already a messy thing u can see it with the notes on the table showing they fight and have stop talking completely during missions. George already understands Lockwood and his friendship what to expect how to navigate each other's personality but he can't predict how Lucy and Lockwood will act if they get into a relationship if they were to fight or break up how it could ruin the business they built together it could ruin their friendship. George's hostility toward luce when he first met her is more understandable when u think about what he has to lose but I'm happy to see them finally become friends at the end of this season idk if he's ok with the idea of them dating or if he is just choosing to let life play it's course instead of trying to control it but Im hoping in season 2 we see George and Luce open up to echo there more and be friends

Just binged watched Lockwood & co and the frustration+dopamine hit I got from it is astronomical. Lockwood and Luce are always what feels like inches from kissing whether they're literally inches apart staring into each other's eyes or across the kitchen just talking they always have some sort of tension that they both won't address because of their past trauma. Lockwood clearly hiding his real emotions behind his cocky smile and fake confidence in fear that if he let's them in they'll leave him and Luce who wants that conation but scared that if she puts her self out there again they'll end up like Nori or worse so she waiting for them to come to her. They're both scared of the people they love dying and leaving them. Their love is strong but is held back by Lockwood fear of showing himself and lives fear of putting herself out there again. The show and book won't be the exact same that clear but I'm secretly hoping that they at least let us see Luce and Lockwood together whether they kiss or a quick shot of them in the future married. I know at the end of the book it hints at Lockwood and Luce having a long slow burn and it makes sense for them to take their time after all they have been true but I'm still hoping since it's an adaptation of the books they give us lockly. (Also dose anyone have any good locky fan fiction recommendations to fill the hole on my hart this show has left me)
