Painting I made for my parents as a Christmas gift. It is loosely based on photo I took in Bieszczady National Park (Połonina Wetlińska if interested).

I haven’t paint anything prior to this picture since 2017. Also I am no expert in either colour theory or painting but here we are.

Welstober prompt: mask

I got a little creative with this one. I took “mask” in an open way, just meaning you can’t see someone’s face. I also got an idea about how vampires/werewolves tend to be weak to silver, and then imagined a medieval knight who wears full silver armour to be invincible to their enemies. So, of course, medieval vampire hunter Welsknight AU! I have a lot of ideas around this, so feel free to send asks, but the gist is that Wels is a famous monster hunter who nobody knows the appearance of, and he fights a lot of the Hermits (who are monsters), except Jevin who is, well, not really his friend, but a freeloader Wels can’t really do anything about.

#The Golden Rose #Alain #Ysabella #my art #Fanart #It took my a while to decide what era I wanted to pull from fashion wise #Like I know that the golden rose isn't historically accurate at all but it is still meant to be vaguely medieval #and I'm a nerd so #I eventually decided to take inspiration from the quattrocento (with many liberties taken)#because technologically the story seems kind of 15th century #what with the plate armour and galleons #and yes the 15th century is late medieval/early renaissance but given the story is about recovering lost ancient knowledge #it being the dawn of the renaissance kinda works #plus quattrocento fashion is pretty so there's that #There are other reasons too but I'm going to stop rambling in the tags now

I had some trouble with the audio mixing so if it sounds more defined in one ear than the other. my original mp4 was fine but it got messed up when I imported it and i had the same problem subbing ep 32...hope it isn't too obtrusive!

Caring Monjirou moments are probably some of my favorite in the show...he's strict and a little eccentric but I feel like he's genuinely really kind. he's so sheepish about his past though lol. the first years carrying on the dinner-making idea is so adorable i love that it's kind of a tradition now. when the first year hagumi five years from show canon i hope they can still hang out and make a nice dinner together. actually, i hope the current six years can also get together like they did when they were younger...the day they get another cute cutscene of them all eating and preparing dinner together with them five years later is the day i can finally be happy...nhk...
