hello! could u perhaps do yandere annie leonheart?

a/n: in light of Annie returning, I gift to you this! Its not exactly yandere, but I’ve been feeling angsty, soooo.....yeah. Anyways, along with Mikasa, Annie was also a character I had a massive crush on her growing up. Also, there was a decent amount of fics for her as well.

Annie’s always been blunt.

 Cold, icy, distant, mean, harsh.

 One can use millions of synonyms for the word, mean, to describe her. To the meanest, cruelest phrases to the weirder, more brow raising ones, that really makes you wonder if that person is alright. Any and every word could be used for her, and yet, you’ve always found yourself simply describing her as blunt.

 It came as a surprise to everyone of how you described her.

 Hardworking, amazing, diligent, beautiful, blunt.

 Everyone wonders if you were alright. If you managed to bang your head while training against the titan dummies. If you were just as crazy as Eren, the boy who’s monomania towards titans has gotten him more than enough eyerolls. Everyone from the louder, more open ones such as Eren or Jean to the quieter and distant ones like Mikasa or Armin had the same thing in their mind.

 Just what did you see in Annie Leonhardt?

 You described her in such a way that made it look like she was an angel of sorts. Like she was Christa, which is the farest from the truth. You say it so easily, like it was just common knowledge. So straightforward and open.

 That it wasn’t a jaw opener that Ymir pointed it out so plainly. So bluntly that it made everyone’s head turn. Made them all flush in secondhand embarrassment for you.

 “We get it, you love Annie.” Ymir comments offhandedly. A shit eating grin on her thin lips.

 “Ymir! You shouldn’t point it out like that!” Christa chides, glaring up at her through thick blond lashes. Making her already baby-blue eyes shine brighter than they already were.

 Slinging her arm around Christa, Ymir pulls her close, “And why not? It’s not like it's a secret, everyone practically knows.”

 Everyone stares at you questioningly. Wondering how you were going to cover it up. To see if you were going to back down and deny Ymir’s taunting.

 In an instance, Ymir’s grin was wiped off. Her lips part in disbelief.

 Scratching your cheek with your index finger, you look away bashfully. “Oh, was it that obvious?” Turning back to the group, your shy laughter fills the air, “Well, you caught me! I can’t help but like her.”

 “B-but why?” Armin questions, his thick brows furrowed in confusion.

 “Yeah, she’s so mean! Like really mean and cold!” Sasha exclaims, her hands frantically waving around to get her point across.

 Connie's head perks up and mimics her movements, “Sasha has a point! Annie’s not the kinda girl you just like!”

 You listen to them all give their opinions with a patient smile. Totally understanding their views on the blond girl. Turning your head, you gaze at the setting sun. Closing your eyes, you thought back to her.

 The way the wind swept through her silky golden locks. Her icy blue eyes glowing underneath the sun’s setting rays. Her face glows every time she zooms past you during training. She looked so free, the burdens that weighed her down on the ground seemed to break while she flew in the sky.

 “(y/n)” Armin calls, silencing everyone.

 Opening your eyes, you stare at the sea of orange emerging from the sun.

 “Annie’s blunt. That’s what she is. I can’t tell you why I like her so much, but I can tell you this.” Turning around, you sent them a close-eyed smile. The sun’s rays illuminate your features, “I love her.”

 She’s blunt.

 So, it came as no surprise that Annie didn’t bother to skim around her thoughts. However, it certainly did catch you off guard.

 The potato you were peeling thumps against the wooden cutting board. Your hands felt cold and your heart plummets.

 “I heard you.”

 It was the first words she’d spoken to you, since you both arrived for dinner duty.

 Clearing your throat, you murmur, ���“Is that so?” Turning to her, you declare, “Well I’m not going to take back what I said, if that's what you want. I do love you Annie.”

 “You shouldn’t. I don’t care how you feel about me.” She fires back, her eyes never leaving the knife in her palm.

 “I don’t care if you don’t feel the same way. I never expected you to.” You admit, shrugging your shoulders. Reaching your hand out, you place it against hers. Her grip tightening around the wooden handle.

 Blue eyes, as bright as the sky, flickers towards yours. Pink lips puckering for a second before returning to its usual straight line. You could see every dent of skin, every imperfection and bump, and yet, you’ve simply felt enamored more than ever.

 “All I want is to be near you, is that so bad?”

 Annie moves away from your touch. Her back facing you as she struts out the door. Her monotone voice trembles for a second. Quick enough not to notice, but you did.

 “Do whatever you want.”

 Your unlikely friendship with Annie became the talk of the cadets. Of everyone inside and outside your group.

 To them it felt odd to see the walking tundra being followed with a shining sun. To some it felt wrong, and they believed that Annie was simply taking advantage of your kindness to warm her winter storm. That you were no more of a stepping stool to be tossed aside when the time calls.

 And to your group, it worries them to some extent. They were at a crossroads questioning Annie’s motives or waiting to see what would happen. Not understanding her enough to trust her. But they knew you knew what you were doing.

 They trusted you.

 Afterall, even the coldest tundra still has the sun shining on them.

 Nighttime was the only time you and Annie were able to escape the prying eyes of your judges. Alone with the moon and stars, who kept your secret to themselves behind sealed tight lips. Wind, still warm from the summer day, kissing at your exposed skin.

 “So, I told Sasha that if she wants extra then she has to do my cleaning duty for a week, and you know what she called me! Her very own executioner!” Your laughter dances in the air with Annie’s quiet snorts. “She was so mad that I was ‘starving’ her that she cried! Like I know the portions aren’t that big, but damn she knows how to put on a good ass show.”

 Sitting up, you show Annie the scratch marks on your ankles and calves, “She clawed at my legs until I gave in. Luckily, Mikasa came to the rescue to drag her away. Or else I would have been late.”

 Despite your laughter, Annie’s lips form a straight line. Her eyes glued onto the red scratches. No blood, just bumpy and irritated.

 Cold fingertips glide over the hot flesh. Breath caught in your throat, you croak, “Is something wrong, Annie?”

 Her cerulean gaze didn’t falter. At the closeness of your bodies, you could faintly feel the warmth of her body. The strands of hair escaping her tight bun. The small scuff marks from training that tinted her pale, porcelain skin which glows underneath the pale moonlight.

 “Stunning.” You whisper, the words leaving your mouth before you could stop them. Covering your mouth, your face burns painfully.

 Silent pleading with whatever god there was you miss the way Annie’s eyes widen and lips parts. A deep blush settling on her skin.

 Her soft laughter catches your muddle attention. Opening your eyes, you flinch at her closeness. Her nose touches yours, lips millimeters apart.

 Your heart races against your chest. Blood rushing to your ears.  You were more than positive that she could hear it.

 Cold hands clasped with your and held them down on the ground. Her knee parting your legs as she straddles you. Successfully making any movement impossible except for your nervous squirming.

 You felt so shy, so exposed, under her enchanting eyes. You once overheard Armin talking about the ocean, something about having a shit load of salt or something, but you remember something vital. The deep blue that stretched on forever. A color of blue that could never be tarnished or claimed by the hands of man. Pure and vivid with life.

 You knew seeing the ocean was impossible, so perhaps, fate has brought the ocean to you. Through the woman staring at you with so many emotions you never knew was possible. Flashing through her ocean-like eyes like shooting stars in the sky. Beautiful golden lashes glistening with stardust.

 Licking her lips, she whispers, “Can I?”

 You nod, knowing your voice wouldn’t hold up.

 Your heart soars as your lips make contacts. Days dreamt of dreaming of this moment finally coming true.

 Her lips were so soft, so careful and hesitant, as you made contact. Like she was afraid to hurt you, like she was afraid to be hurt.

 Tilting your chin, you deepen the kiss. Lips dancing together in desperation. Letting your hands go, you grasp at her white hoodie and pull her closer. Her hands resting on your neck and cheek. Your bodies melding into one.

 Parting ways, you lick at your lips and hum. Warmth blossoming in your heart. Staring up at her, you whisper, “I love you”

 “I’ll never understand why, but” She leans closer. Her eyes never leave yours, “I think I love you too.

 Her lips are on yours once again. Passionate and desperate, as if she was running out of time. Your back met the ground while her hands trembled at your side. Grasping onto you as if you’d run away.

 Tears mingled with your lips. You didn’t know whos, but Annie or you didn’t dare to leave each other’s warm embrace. Too afraid that you’d disappear or wake up.

 You only wish that this moment could last forever.

 You loved her so much it hurts.

 Your heart aches at the thought of ever leaving her, or her ever leaving you. Blinding you from the reality of your situation.

 Her desperate eyes searching yours. The grip on your hands is bruising. Leaning her head against yours, she stares into your shock-ridden eyes.

 “Listen to me, we have to leave. Or else they’ll take you away from me.” She pleas, her voice so overcome with fear it makes your heart tremble.

 “I-i don;t understand. W-who's going to take me away from you, Annie?” You shook, staring at her clouded eyes, “Tell me, Annie! Who’s coming after you!”

 Rain continued to pelt down against Stohess. The lit flame in the corner of your shared room flickering. Wind howling outside.

 Annie’s stare at you with a distant look. She’s remembering something from her past. A past she told you so little about. Her teeth grinding against each other painfully. It felt like your bones were breaking in her hand.

 You wanted to pull away so badly, but you willed yourself not to. The love you had for her never faltered despite everything you’ve been through. Like a ship through an icy storm in the palms of the ocean’s hand.

 Even when you shouldn’t. Not when she became so possessive over you. Keeping you to herself, caging you in her world. Cutting away your wings and keeping you bound to the Earth.  Yet you could never fault her for being selfish, because a sick part of you enjoyed it.

 You’ve endured her worst moments just to get to the good ones. Helped her the best you could, despite her constantly pushing you away. You held strong, because you love her.

 “Annie, please, tell me what's wrong.”

 “Everyone.”

 So quiet and weak, yet it felt like she screamed it to the world.

 “I’m not a good person. I’ve done horrible shit. My list of sins is so long that even Satan would be scared.” Tears slid from her eyes, “But not you. You’ve always treated me like I was a godsend, like I wasn’t dirty or filthy. Like I meant something.”

 Trembling hands cupped your cheek. Annie gazes at you so lovingly you could die.

 “And for that I thank you. “

 “Annie…”

 “I know its a lot to ask, but-”

 “Let's run away.”

 She told you to meet her at the gates leading out to Wall Rose. That she would be quick, saying that she had to help Eren, Mikasa and Armin down to the Underground.

 Looking at your pocket watch, you stomped your foot impatiently. Annie had told you everything she could.

 You didn’t have time, you and Annie. Time is running out.

 A flash of lightning exploded nearby. Your throat dried at where it struck.

 “That was…Annie!” Shooting your ODM gear, you gilded in the air.

 Steam rose from her titan body. She stood tall and defiant against Mikasa’s barrage of attacks. Swatting away every attack sent her way. Blue eyes darting from place to place searching.

 Flying as fast as you could, you scream, “ANNIE!”

 Her head turns to you. Her golden locks swaying. Her arm reaches out towards you in a desperate attempt to make contact.

 Tears began to cascade down your cheek. Desperately trying to reach her.

 Moments away you were captured in the arms of another. Glaring up at them, you demand, “Let me go, Jean! I need to get to Annie!”

 “No way in hell! She’ll kill you!” Jean retorts, flinching at Annie’s enraged scream.

 Punching at his arm, you shout, “She needs me! Can’t you see that!”

 “No, she needs to be captured!”

 You threw yourself out of his arm once you landed on a rooftop. Your glare piercing. Staring up at him, you hiss, “No, Annie needs to be free. You don’t understand her, not the way I do! We need to go, before they can take her away!”

 “She’s a threat.” Mikasa’s voice is dark as she glares down onto your trembling body. Pointing her blade to Annie’s now captured body, “She’s a monster.”

 “Not any more of a monster than the rest of us.” You retort standing up. Running to Annie, you cupped your hands over your mouth and yelled, “Annie! I’m here!”

 Her blue gaze snaps from the brunette to you in an instant. A growl trembling in her throat. Swinging her leg, she destroyed the chains holding her. Ignoring everything, she stands up and reaches her hand for you.

 Her hot breath fanned over your body as her eyes scanned your body til landing on your eyes. You were so close to reach her. Hands reaching out for each other, desperate to escape prying eyes as you did before. Tears cascading down your flushed face.

 You gasp as a louder, much deeper, scream pierces the air. Snapping your head, you witness Eren’s titan form run towards Annie. His fist clenched as he made contact with her skin.

 The force behind his fist flung you back. Using your gear to hold onto the roof, you cough as debris fills your lungs. Another gush of wind pushing you back from Annie’s retaliation.

 A large piece of tile hits your head finally making you lose balance. Your head pounded against your skull. Before you could fall to your death, you quickly deployed your gear to a nearby roof and rolled to the ground. Blood stains your forehead and cheek.

 From there everything became a blur. Your voice hoarse from the screaming and body aching from rapidly moving from place to place. Fear and despair clutches onto your heart.

 Stohess is in ruins because of Annie and Eren, yet you could care less. No amount of destruction mattered to you, not when Annie is in danger. Fighting for a future that’s almost impossible to achieve.

 All you want is to go back to when it was just you and Annie under the stars. In each other’s arms, whispering sweet nothing into each other’s ears. Away from their eyes and whispers. Where it was just you and her against the world.

 You would do everything to get that back. You’d gladly let Annie take you away, look over her possessive, overprotective nature if it meant being with her.

 As long as it wasn’t this.

 Crushed, mangled bodies underneath her like a bed of dark red roses. Seeing her get beaten to the ground. Ocean-like eyes pleading and her hand reaching for you. Only for you to be ripped away by another. Your screams and her own mingling into a heart wrenching song.

 Jean held you close to his chest, despite your yells and hits. You had to witness Eren beat her into nothing, witness Annie desperately trying to leave only to be cut down by Mikasa. Witness Eren tearing the flesh from Annie’s nape.

 “NO!” You scream, elbowing Jean in the face. Hissing his grip loosened and you ran forwards. Landing between Eren and her exposed body shielding her with your own.

 Blurry eyes stared up at your tear-stricken ones. Eren’s large shadow looming over you.

 “You need to go.” Annie hisses, her voice weak and horse.

 “No. If you die, I’ll go with you.”

 Despite being bloodied and beat up, Annie thought you were a Goddess. Made for her and solely her. Ocean eyes flickering with stardust shined as she stared up at the girl who saw her as Annie. Not a monster, not a cold-hearted thing only meant for destruction.

 Just as Annie. A broken girl with hopes and desires. Just Annie and nothing more or less.

 “You idiot.” She says with no ill-intentions. A smile on her lips.

 Mimicking her gesture, you whisper, “Only for you.”

 Holding her close you await your demise. Only for it not to come, glancing up you witness Eren flop to the ground with a loud thud.

 Annie’s eyes widened and shot to you, who was frozen with shock. Taking the dust as covering, she pushed you away.

 Falling on her titan’s disintegrating skin, you stared into her pained eyes. Her lips moved with the wind. Crystals quickly encasing her body.

 Just as the curtain rose, so did the dust. Showcasing your trembling figure and Annie’s crystalized form. Every pair of eyes judging you for things you couldn’t control. For things out of your hands.

 Resting your hand against the cold material you slumped against the floor. Your gaze never tears from her serene face. Even crystalized, she's the most stunning person around.

 You knew people were yelling at you, demanding you to do something. Telling you to tell them something. Anything

 They were expecting a play, a show. Something you weren’t willing to give them.

 Distant and cold.

 That’s how you felt.

 That’s how they described the girl you love.

 But even now, as they curse her out. Call her the cruelest things to ever be heard. You could never say the same, not when she was the polar opposite.

 Beautiful, honest, protective, loving, blunt.

 Yes, blunt. She’s always been blunt even to her last words.

   10. The Breakfast Club (1985)

Yeah, uh, this movie is just amazing. A group of kids with nothing in common coming together and becoming friends in the end? Sign me up! It was funny, it was interesting, it sends an important message. There’s a reason it’s a classic 💜

   9. Life as We Know It (2010)

I feel like this one you’ll love if you haven’t already seen it, Lily, it’s got all the best tropes: enemies to friends to lovers, living together, co-parenting. It’s bittersweet and tooth-rotting and I. LOVE. THIS. MOVIE. 

   8. Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

I’ve never been the biggest ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise’s fan, but this movie. I know a lot of people didn’t like it, but I absolutely loved it. It was just so fun! A buddy-cop type of movie, except they’re running from the law, in a life-or-death situation, bickering like an old married couple. Also, I will give my life for Hattie Shaw. I won’t even deny it, she was probably the best part of the movie. Sigh.

   7. Now You See Me (1 & 2) (2013/2016)

Both movies. But I count them as one. Why they’re on the list? Have you seen them? If you have, then you know why. If you haven’t, PLEASE GO WATCH THEM!!!!! One thing about me, I love having fun while watching movies. That’s why half of this list is filled with titles that made me feel this way, and the other half is filled with titles that made me cry / made me think about life. This is of the first kind, obviously. Illusionists! Amazing tricks! Awesome plot! Dave Franco! Oops, this one slipped, heh. 

   6. Black Panther (2018)

My question for you: Are you surprised? This one fits into both categories. It’s spectacular. It’s incredible. It shows both points of view and makes you think. What’s right, what’s wrong? It’s beautiful, and the storyline is just AMAZIIIIING! And it has such awesome jokes, and I’m a sucker for those. Remember the Oscars just after Black Panther came out? Remember how everyone admitted that this movie would have snatched all awards? I do and I still think about that. 

   5. The Hitman’s Bodyguard (2017)

Ryan Reynolds + Samuel Jackson. I should honestly just leave it at that. Listen, my mom loved this movie. My mom doesn’t like action movies. This has to speak for itself, okay? They Let Samuel Jackson Say Motherfucker. Man, I love this movie. (We have Deadpool and Nick Fury, and on top of that, there’s Elektra too.) 

   4. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

I wasn’t really a Spider-Man fan until Homecoming. Idk, I just never vibed with the movies. And then it turned out I needed a father figure for Spider-Man. As seen in the gif, sometimes you need your father figure to teach you the webs by throwing you over the railing. It’s a found family type of situation. We love a found family type of situation. The animation and the style are b e a u t i f u l. The dialogue is witty and at the same time thought-inducing. This movie. This is a masterpiece, okay?

   3. Pride and Prejudice (2005)

I think this was the first classic I ever saw. I honestly can’t put into words the feelings this movie gives me. I can try, though. Serenity. Longing. Desperation. Love. (And Envy. Where am I supposed to find a Mr. Darcy, huh?) The actors just did such a perfect job here. I can’t even, seriously.

I’m not gonna elaborate on this one. It’s plain obvious.

   1. Little Women (2019)

I cry so many times when I watch this. I have no idea how it managed to dig so deep inside of my chest cavity and get hold of my heart and squeeze it in its grasp. I can talk about Little Women for hours and hours. I can talk about Amy’s growth and Meg’s dreams and Jo’s loneliness and Beth’s kindness for hours. The wardrobe was stunning. The script was perfect. The cinematography, the direction of this film, they’re mind-blowing. THE ACTING IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. I love Little Women and I will always love Little Women and I will never forgive the Academy for robbing Greta Gerwig of her awards.
