Zenitsu

He dies every time he talks to you but like in a good way. You always tell him how handsome he is and for the first time, he feels genuinely loved. He can sometimes be quite negative about things so your cheerful and positive personality is really helpful for him. He gets kind of jealous sometimes because you seem to compliment/praise everyone you run into. One time Tanjiro was with you and Zenitsu and you started telling Tanjiro that you liked his earrings and how you thought he was very strong. Zenitsu looked at you with a disappointed frown on his face. Don't worry though you assured him that you didn't have any feelings for Tanjiro and only loved him.

Enmu

The way you constantly encourage and praise him does something to this man like his face is bright red every time you say something slightly encouraging to him. Most of the demons he spends his time with aren't very cheerful so it's nice to talk to someone as cheerful as you. He gets jealous a lot too. Not like Zenitsu but he still wishes you wouldn't be so friendly with everyone.

Mitsuri

Bro every time you compliment her she dies. You and her kind of have a similar personality so it makes sense that you two started dating. Sometimes she brings you to training sessions with her and you'll just be cheering her on the whole time and she can't focus on her training because she's so flustered. She loves your compliments so much omg. She's a bit insecure about how she looks but you reassuring her that she looks gorgeous is literally all she needs.

Shinobu

Loves your cheerful personality. After a long day of missions and dealing with the other Hashira coming home to you is all she needs. Your personality is so comforting to her. You praise her constantly whether it be you praising her during a training session or you praising her for making a new medicine it doesn't matter she adores it all.

Sanemi

He gets so flustered whenever you compliment him. "Sanemi is that a new scar? Wow, it makes you look so handsome dear" You told him one night when he got back from a mission. His face immediately turned red. "Yeah, whatever go to sleep it's late >:(" Gets really jealous really easily. He hates when you compliment another Hashira. He knows it's just how you are but he still can't help but get angry whenever you compliment another Hashira. Especially if it's another man. Like he saw you praising Giyuu after a training session he had. Giyuu was getting visibly flustered and when Sanemi saw that he took it the wrong way and just glared at him. Giyuu saw Sanemi and as soon as he did Giyuu interrupted your praises and said "I'm sorry Y/n. I must go"

Giyuu

You and him were complete opposites. You were extremely cheerful and you complimented everyone. You did kind of have a secretive side to you but that's the only flaw you had. And Giyuu was quiet and kind of negative. Surprisingly he liked your personality but whenever you complimented him his face immediately turns red. "Hey Giyuu has anyone ever told you that they like your eyes? I think you have the most beautiful eyes in the world.. " Giyuu wasn't used to people complimenting him he blushed and responded. "Um.. No nobody has ever told me that"

Obanai

Bro he's just gonna die on the spot. Every time you complimented him his whole face went red. "Obanai!! Your eyes are so pretty and your hair is so soft!! You're so pretty :D!!" You said while you were sitting on his lap one day. "Y/n..stop.." He couldn't even make eye contact with you his face was so flushed. He has never really had anyone encourage him or compliment him at all so it's nice to have you even if he does get flustered easily.

Tengen thinks you are very flashy!! He doesn't really get flustered when you compliment him he already knows he's amazing so he just responds with "Thank you y/n!! You're very flashy as well!! >:D" He thinks it's very admirable how you try to be nice to everyone even if you don't really care for that person he struggles to do that himself so he asks you how you stay so calm around people you don't like.

Rengoku

Omg he loves you so much. You complementing and encouraging him makes him so happy. He thinks you're the cutest thing ever you get along great with Senjuro too. "Don't worry Senjuro, I think you'll become a fine swordsman. You just need to train a little harder you'll get it soon!!" You told Senjuro when he was feeling a bit down about his sword still not changing color. Rengoku gets flustered sometimes when you compliment him but it's not often. He never had someone encourage him so much. Sometimes he gets frustrated about his memory problems and you are always there to encourage him. 1: Miyuri, How do you feel about the other Hashira?

In regards to Rengoku; he means well, and he’s very nice, but I’m not entirely sure he knows what an inside voice is. We don’t hang out much, but it’s kinda nice to be around such a bright presence whenever we do. He’s really warm, both metaphorically and literally, and offers to warm me up after shared missions.

Then there's Shinobu. She’s crazy, but I say that affectionately. I find it sweet that she’s trying to bring her sister’s dream to fruition, but she needs to stop faking her emotions all the time. And maybe ease up on bullying Tomioka.

Iguro and I are surprisingly tolerant of each other, given our differing opinions of Shinazugawa. We’ve discussed fighting half-blind before, due to our respective conditions, and he let me hold Kaburamaru once(only once, though, Kaburamaru doesn’t like how cold I am…). But aside from that, we don’t interact much.

Kanroji was a shock to me in many ways. How is she an older sister?! She gives off tons of baby sister energy! But it’s kind of cool we’ve been able to bond over our love for mochi and our hair colour changing. We’ve both been teased about the latter, but I’m happy to beat up anyone who calls her ugly or a freak. Her strength is admirable.

This may be .y bias from knowing Giyuu better, but I don’t get why people think he’s arrogant. If anything, he’s among the most humble of the Hashira. He deserves his place in our rank, no matter how much anyone(including himself) believes otherwise.

Himejima’s really helped me in navigating a world with limited sight. I’ve gotten a lot better at fighting because of him, and I doubt I’d still be here without that help. I can see why so many Slayers trust him, myself included, and why it took him only two months to become a Hashira.

Tokito is the baby of the Hashira, as much as he can kick all our back ends from here to kingdom come and has a tongue sharper than any sword. He’s skilled, but I hope he takes time to relax and be an actual kid from time to time.

And then there's Shinazugawa.If he acted less like a rabid dog, I wouldn’t mind hanging around him. And also, if he was less of a prick to Giyuu. Also, the amount of self-harm he does to use his blood against demons is… not great. No, I don’t care if Uzui has dubbed the three of us the White Hair Trio.

Speaking of Uzui. He’s unusual, but pretty nice to be around, especially when he drops the god complex and is more genuine. His wives are lovely, too.

2: Hakuji and Koyuki in Mirrored Sunset, What do you plan on naming the baby? And Keizo, how do you feel about becoming a grandparent?

Hakuji: We haven't picked a name. We're waiting until they're born. We do have a list, but we haven't been set on anything.

Koyuki: We do have a few kanji we were leaning towards, though. At one point, we discussed naming the baby Hanabi, after our first outing when I was well enough.

Keizo: I'm honestly a little shocked. I almost didn't expect Koyuki to live to get married, much less have a baby. But here we are! I've been doing everything I can to help them prep for parenthood, especially since Hakuji turned into a bit of a panicked mess when Koyuki first told him the news. He's much calmer about it now, but there were a solid few months where he thought Koyuki getting her own food and tea would cause problems. He wouldn't leave her alone that entire first trimester. It took Tsugikuni telling him about his own experience with childbirth to calm him down. But it just means Hakuji cares, and that's all I can ask for when it comes to my daughter and her baby. I know the two of them will be great parents.

3: For the Hashira in the Tsugikuni-Kamado Swap AUs, How do you feel about the twins? (Unless indicated, all answers apply to both AUs)

Tomioka: They're unique, and certainly have talent.

Kochou: Certainly curious cases. Especially the younger twin. I don't think there's any record of such raw talent.

Uzui: Flashy kids. Especially the one with the mark. Didn't expect it from someone so... Full, when it comes to personality.

Himejima: Gifted by the gods, but cursed by demons. May their gifts win out in this battle. Namu Amida Butsu.

Rengoku: They have most impeccable power! And the demon brother's self-restraint is to be admired!

Agatsuma Touko(MPCS): I don't trust them, and I have no clue why Yoshiteru hasn't dealt with it already. He's the future Thunder Hashira, he should know the protocol by now!

Kamado Sumiyoshi(AMSG): They're good friends, and actually quite nice. Unexpected, especially from a demon!

Shinazugawa: I don't trust them as far as I can throw them. Especially the younger twin. Reminds me too much of Tomioka with his stupid face.

Kanroji: They're so lovely! Such gentlemen! I hope they can achieve their goals!

Iguro: I don't like them. I doubt they can be trusted.

4: Obanai and Mitsuri in S&TF, How did you meet and get to know each other?

Mitsuri: I had gotten lost during my first Hashira meeting, and was too scared to ask for help. Plus, I didn't want to seem stupid, so I figured I'd tough it out and find my way somehow. ... I just ended up getting more lost. That's when I stumbled across Igu... Obanai., and he offered to show me around. I'll admit, Kaburamaru scared me at first, but Obanai was nice enough to guide me through the mansion and offer me lunch after. He's quite nice, actually.

Obanai: I found her wandering the mansion, and guessed she had to be a Hashira. She looked angry, but ready to cry at the same time, so I offered to help. And she seemed hungry after, so I offered to buy her lunch. It took her a bit to warm up to Kaburamaru, but she plays with him quite a lot nowadays. I'm glad we met, she's a very nice girl under her more skittish and cold exterior.

Giyuu Tomioka

yo this guy is tall not kidding

Giyuu is head over heels for you. He’ll want to protect you since you’re the most precious things he’s ever laid eyes on

Sparkles in his eyes whenever he sees you✨

He doesn’t want to lose you so he’s butting in on all of your missions. You get annoyed and you think he’s looking down on you.

You two get into a fight and doesn’t fix it since Giyuu’s communication is bad. It ends up in you walking away.

Nighttime and demons are lurking around in the forest as you take a stroll to clear your mind. Then a demon launches on you but thanks to your quick reflexes you dodge.

It’s a strong demon, close enough to become one of the lower moons. But nothing you can’t handle.

Giyuu senses a demon nearby and he frantically searches for you. *sim dads reaction when the mother goes into labor lmaooooo*

Lights fill up an area of the forest from the techniques you use. In like 2 strikes the demon dies.

He finally finds you as the demon’s ashes blow away. Your hair is dramatically blowing too.

He’s just staring at you then hugs you “I’m sorry. I’m not underestimating you…I just want to protect you.”  

Then all good. He’s amazed by how strong you are despite you’re short stature. You’re going to missions together and sometimes he just watches you finish off the demon. Just happy to see that satisfied smile you have when you kill a demon.

Muichiro Tokito

When he first met you at the pillar meeting, he muttered his thoughts, wondering how could someone be that small? You’re in the same age but you’re small.

Shinobu heard him since she was beside him and said “that’s rude to ask someone”. She’s lowkey offended.

Tengen retorts to Muichiro. “You’re small too…??”

Since it’s rude, he kept his mouth shut. You’re the same age as him when you entered the corps. He thinks you’ll grow up anyway. 

Surprise surprise you grew up, 2 inches. But still small. 

He gets nervous a bit around you since puberty did you good. Won’t admit it though.

Cue swordsmith village arc

He’s having trouble dealing with Gyokko. (I hate his face. It’s weird and ugly.)

Then minutes later, you show up out of nowhere, giving great damage to the demon.

“Are you okay?” you ask him with concern and you two fight off the fish demon.

He’s in awe because you actually took over the fight. Sure you have injuries but those are minor compared to his and you were very careful.

He’s injured so he couldn’t do much but you saved him and the civilians by defeating the demon. That’s when he realized how amazing you are and you earn his respect. 

Days pass by and you two along with the other demon slayers are commended by Oyakata-sama.

He thanks you when the both of you are walking together. He’s very grateful for what you did and you two become closer afterwards.

“Ah young love.” Mitsuri sighs blissfully as she watches you two leave the headquarters.

Kyojuro Rengoku 

Kyojuro knows you’re small and he knows you’re strong. You’re one of his trainees along with Mitsuri, so you’ve known each other for a long time now.

You rose to the ranks of the pillars with Kyojuro’s guidance. And now you’re looked up to by the whole organization because of your excellent swordsmanship despite your small figure. 

So you’re tasked to train 20 slayers ranked below Tsuchinoto. You take them to a clearing in the forest where training equipment are already placed. You train them by remembering what Kyojuro has taught you over the years. And you smile, seeing your past self in the struggling slayers.

You gave them a 10 minute break and after 10 minutes, you do a headcount to see if everyone is in your proximity. 

“18,19…?????” 

Oh no. A slayer is missing.

So you set off to find the missing one and there you found him. 

Hanging upside down from the arms of a large demon. The boy is muttering apologies for straying faraway and is begging for you to save him upon seeing you. 

You are annoyed at the fact that he has disobeyed your orders and is now at the hands of danger. But this was no time to be blaming someone for a boy’s life is at stake here. 

You jump into the air and you take down the demon pretty easily with one strike of your sword. And you catch the falling boy bridal style with your annoyed face. 

You put the boy down but suddenly a demon comes attacking you both. You kill it but more of it comes at you. They are easy to take down but it keeps coming, making you tired if you have to do this all night. It just won’t stop multiplying.

You think you’ve killed almost all of it but then the slayer screams “(L/N)-SAN!!!!!”. A monstrous looking demon bares its claws at you, but before you could react a flash of flames appears right in front of your eyes. 

“Kyojuro…” You whisper in relief as he slays the final demon. The bright flames sparkle in your eyes as you’re once again amazed at the man.

Kyojuro looks at you and comes over. “You’re so amazing.” You manage to say. 

He smiles and says. “No. You’re the amazing one.”. You always manage to face whatever challenge and it always ends up in you winning. Kyojuro knows how hard you proved others wrong by becoming a strong pillar. 

Super proud of you cause you’re strong. He actually watched you battle those before jumping in to save you.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

He doesn’t really care if you’re short or tall

The important things is that you’re useful to the organization

When someone teases you about your height, you end up feeling down and he’s there to beat that someone’s ass.

He doesn’t like to admit it but he’s a softie when it comes to you. You eventually break down his walls and now you can say you’re friends with the scary wind pillar.

You always tease him though and he’s always annoyed. But everyone thinks you’re both dumb since it’s very clear that you two like each other but you still deny it.

There’s this time where Sanemi is visibly struggling fighting demons as you watch him peacefully on a rooftop. He’s glaring at you and asks you “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?”.

You just smile at him sweetly😊

Sanemi pretends his heart didn’t do a flip. But his heart stopped when he saw a demon behind you on the rooftop.

He was about to call your name when another blink and the demon’s head was cut off.

He was surprised since it all happened so fast. You go down to the ground, landing safely as you battle demons that the frozen Sanemi left.

It just took you 10 seconds to eliminate those demons and Sanemi’s mouth is left agape as he watched you.

You weren’t normally like this. So why the sudden surge of power?

“Sanemi hun. Close your mouth.” You say to him with a blank face, but before you could go past him, he gripped your wrist tightly and placed your small body in front of him.

He dragged you so easily lol.

He hugged you with your faced buried on his chest.

It was the comforting kind of silence. Sanemi was scared losing you to that demon but deep inside he knows that you’re strong.

Won’t admit that your moves are amazing.

Gyomei Himejima

This man is the strongest in the demon slayer corps and the tallest

Lmaoooo you would be like a mushroom beside him💀🍄

Gyomei actually gets out of tricky situations easily because he’s that strong

You’re a fairly new pillar who earned her spot 3 months ago. You two were assigned on a mission together. A gigantic demon appeared throughout the village that was between the regions you and the stone pillar were assigned in.

Gyomei knows your capabilities so he trusts you in doing a good job, but he can’t help but worry about you.

He doesn’t care if you’re small, he thinks that height isn’t the basis for an excellent demon slayer. But he’s still worried, so he looks for you. I don’t know how he looks but he looks.

Then he sees you fighting off demons very easily. A determined look is seen across your face. Gyomei feels he’s tearing up because he’s so proud of you. Proud boyfriend here somethin.

You were just a weak mizunoto years ago and now you’re a strong pillar who can fight with him side by side.

When you finish off the demons, you look to see Gyomei smiling at you. This were the fruits of the harsh trainings you went through, it made an excellent swordswoman.

Among the pillars, you stand beside Gyomei in rankings. So you’re powerful like wow. O_O

Obanai Iguro

He’s small but have you seen him fight? He’s a demon slayer with remarkable speed and you won’t know he’s attacking you because his moves slithers secretly like a snake.

You’ve always admired Obanai even you’re now both pillars. And that admiration bloomed into something more.  

He’s a strong pillar despite his small stature and that’s what you aim for to be like.

You’re trying to show off your moves to him every time you’re in battle together, to show him what you can do. To which he’s just “meh”.

So you give up on trying to show off and just do it for the sake of the people you’re saving.

You really gave up on showing off, but you can’t help it cause your breathing forms are flashy. Obanai doesn’t show it but he loves that display of power you have when you’re fighting.

Poor man doesn’t realize he’s in love with you even though others point it out.

He’s having trouble dividing his attention on protecting the civilians or fighting the demons. Luckily you were near the area so you came to his aid.

You slay the demons with your sharp and precise movements in just a short amount of time.

He’s like 😲 but when you turn he’s back to 😐😷

He’s one of the guys who won’t admit that you’re amazing and won’t admit that he likes you. You force him to confess though.

Tengen Uzui

If Obanai doesn’t admit he likes you, this guy would shout that he likes you

Would openly flirt with you because why not? There’s nothing to be shy about.

Always takes the chance to compliment and flirt with you.

“You’re cute (y/n)” “Thanks” Tengen finds your height cute because the height difference is HUGE.

Another mushroom like moment💀🍄

He knows you’re strong so he likes to train with you. Always ends up letting you win because he just likes it when he’s pinned down by your smaller figure.

When a demon invasion came in your area,, you fight them off while Tengen is called for backup.

He slays the lesser demons easily and found you fighting a stronger demon while protecting some children behind your back.

He smirks and leans against a tree, arms folded while watching you fight off the demon. 

You did it so easily making Tengen’s eyebrows rise.

Then you see him and ask him “what are you doing?”.

“watching you.” He finds you hot and sexy when you have that focused look in the middle of a battle. He won’t say it out loud because you might smack him in the face.

Super amazed at the fact that you’re stronger than the other pillars despite your small figure.(he thinks you’re stronger than him but dismisses that because pshhhhhh).

Will throw you over his shoulder at random times. Thinking that his antics will make you fall in love with him.

It was already past midnight when he noticed that you weren’t sleeping. “Y/N-chan, are you okay?” He worried. “I just can’t fall asleep. Maybe because it’s too dark.” “I know! I know it’s very scary! I’m a little scared too.” You softly giggled as Zenitsu wrapped himself around you like a koala. “But I’ll protect you. I promise you. I swear, Y/N-chan!” Right there, you found solace in his embrace as he hummed you a melodious and sweet tune to sleep.

You were eating at a restaurant when a power outage occurred. He noticed you gasped thus he held your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, “Are alright, love?” You tightened your hold on his hand and this gave the answer to his question. Knowing you were afraid, he pulled you against him and wrapped an arm around you. His other free hand leaned your head on his chest, holding it gently. “Stay like this with me until the light comes back again.”

It was late at night when he sensed that you kept on twisting turning. Propping on his elbow, he caressed your cheek. “You’re not sleeping,” he said and asked, “Is there something wrong?” You shook your head. “I guess it’s a little dark tonight.” Giyuu knew what you meant. He had those nights as well fearing that something out of nowhere would take away all that he cherished in life. Leaning down to you, he placed a soft kiss on your eyelid. “I’ll keep the light on tonight, okay? I’m just right here by your side.”

It’s your first time in a movie theater and didn’t know that it could be this dark inside. “What’s the matter?” Nemi asked and you half-chuckled, “I guess it was just too dark an-” He snaked an arm around you not even letting you continue. Then, he pulled you close to him. You looked up at him and he met your glance. “What?” He asked looking away, his blush not seen due to the darkness. “Nothing.” You answered as you rested your head on his shoulder.

Rengoku 🔥

Rengoku is a family man, so he probably thinks of you as family right away! He appreciates all human life and appreciates your dedication to protecting it!

Whenever the two of you are training, it’s a lot of loud and positive encouragement! He gives you the brightest smile when you exceed his expectations!

If you were ever in danger, Rengoku would step in front of you! Taking the blow, but he’s too tough to be taken down by that! He’d ask you to stay back, knowing you have a lot of life left to live!

Shinobu 🦋

Shinobu might be a bit closed off when the two of you first start training together! You’d get used to her smile and light-hearted way of speaking. Shinobu would appreciate your hard work and do her best to train you well. A very casual relationship.

Shinobu likes to tease you a bit in the mean time. Giggling at your reactions and the two of you get closer with each other! You make her smile and she begins to feel the same feelings that she felt when Kanae was alive. Genuinely happy!

In battle, Shinobu would trust you to protect yourself. While she also would listen closely and check up on you occasionally! Just to make sure you aren’t in danger. If she lost you too, she doesn’t know what she would do…

Tengen 🎵

Tengen is very eccentric when the two of you begin training. He critics your flamboyancy and tries to dress you up fancier with jewelry or make up! He’s a bit of a handful, but you appreciate the sentiment.

Tengen and his wives soon all treat you with lots of love! The girls dote over you and Tengen has you spend time with all of them in your meantime. It make you feel loved and protected, like they’re your family!

Tengen tells you the order of things before your first mission, “First is you and my wives. The three of you protect each other. Second is civilians. Then last is me. Got it? Don’t risk your life if you don’t have to, kid”

Mitsuri 💖

Mitsuri is the sweetest Hashira to you! Immediately smiling and complimenting you! Hugging is a must with her! Eating lunch together and encouragement wile training!

Mitsuri loves spending time with you, watching you develop into your own demon slayer as time goes by! The two of you relax with Rengoku often and even he notices how interlocked the two of you are!

In battle, Mitsuri isn’t shy about her desire to keep you safe! Always exclaiming how you’re important to her and she’ll be your protector! You really appreciate her and give her a big hug after battle!

Giyuu 🌊

Giyuu is a bit estranged when the two of you start training. Quiet and distant as the two of you work together. Giyuu doesn’t wish to get close with anyone, but here you were.

You get under his seemingly cold heart easily though as you compliment him. Telling him that you appreciate his guidance and wish to learn more from him! Giyuu doesn’t know how to feel, wanting to believe your words.

In combat, Giyuu becomes more emotional when you are in danger! Calling out for you and directing you away from immediate danger! Checking on you after it’s all over and giving you a smile once he sees that you’re fine.

Sanemi 💨

Sanemi never wanted a Tsugoku in the first place! He’s actually quite violent towards you at first, trying to push you away! But you stay strong and stay by his side no matter what!

Sanemi trains with you and notices your skills with a sword. He begins to respect you for keeping up with him and your training! He’s torn though, not wanting to get close with you.

Inevitably, the two of you grow a bond. Which makes it harder for Sanemi to let you go off into battle. He makes you promise to survive. If you get hurt, he scolds you for taking on an opponent stronger than you! Would kill any demon who even threatened to hurt you!

Gyomei 🪨

Gyomei is pretty quiet at first. You just follow his orders and train as hard as you can for him. You have great respect for the rock pillar and want to make him proud!

Gyomei notices your dedication right away. The two of you grow closer and eat lunch quietly together. You even join his meditation sessions as the two of you quietly enjoy each other’s presence!

Gyomei and you stick together in battle! No matter what! Gyomei is a large shield between you and the demon. He does this on purpose since he’s grown very fond of you. He wants more meditative sessions together so he can’t lose you!

Muichiro 🌫

Muichiro had NO interest in you when the two of you are assigned together by the Master’s orders. He practically forgets that you are there entirely. It’s a very rocky start.

Soon you discover just how much his head seems to be in the clouds! You start reminding of things he’s forgotten and helping him remember certain things. You are patient with him and he notices.

Muichiro thinks you remind him of someone he used to be close to…so he protects you without even saying a word. He may get in the way of a demons attack or just up and kill the demon trying to hurt you. After the battle, he gives you a simple smile.

Obanai 🐍

Obanai is very cold towards you at first! Working you till exhaustion and forcing you to train for almost 24 hours a day! This is only so you’ll be strong enough to fight demons though!

Once you two get even closer, Obanai let’s his guard down around you. You even discover his crush for a certain pink-haired Hashira! Which he tells you to never bring up ever! Kaburamaru also trusts you and nuzzles his head on you!

Obanai allows you to take leads during demon hunts, but if he realizes this demon is much more powerful then expected. He yells at you to stay back and just observe! It’s a training opportunity!

And if she can’t, she’ll just run her hands through it, massaging you scalp 

She’ll hum a little song, her gentle words helping you fall asleep

Eventually  you do, and she lets you sleep for as long as you need

Sanemi- 

It hurts him so much to see you cry

He’s lost so many people and now someone he really- genuinly loves. Is upset

Kyojuro would think about what to get for you for a while, he wants your gift to be perfect after all.

So when valentines was getting closer and closer and he was out on a mission, he saw a certain kind of jewelry that caught his eye.

He walked into the store and looked around for a bit, seeing flame earrings.

He asked the people working if he could possibly make custom ones and when they said it was possible, he couldn’t be happier.

Kyojuro asked for custom flame earrings that matched his sword, thinking it would be cute.

He hid the present from you till valentines and when the day came, he gave them to you, telling you it was a reminder of him when he wasn’t around.

Matching jewelry

Tengen is known for wearing the gemstones and other jewelry he wears or better said, his “flamboyant” looks, obviously not only for that but you get what I mean.

He would know what to get when valentines comes closer, pretty quickly.

He thinks about getting you guys matching jewelry so you could look flamboyant together.

He loved getting things for you and especially matching clothing so you guys could look good together.

He would take his time to find the perfect matching jewelry for you guys.

When he finds the perfect set, he couldn’t be happier and he gets quite impatient to give it to you.

But when the day comes, he gives it to you happily, convincing you to wear it right away.

A selfmade bracelet

When valentines came close, Giyuu thought about what he could get you but got left with no ideas at first.

He didn’t feel like asking others either and if the word got out that he was planning on getting you something on valentines.

He knew Shinobu would bother him about it.

I mean what did you expect, Hotaru loved making swords more than anything in the world.

Dating him at first, was a whole journey.

At first he pretended like he didn’t care about anything, but overtime he slowly started opening up.

When valentines came closer, his idea was already set.

He was gonna make you a sword.

When you starting dating him, your knowledge and love for swords grew as well.

He thought you things about making swords when he could, telling you everything about it enthusiastically.

I can imagine him hugging the heck out of you. He’s a giant teddy bear! You’d be smothered by hugs, cuddles and kisses. I feel like because he’s blind, holding you makes me feel so much more calm and happy. Because then he knows that you’re right there and not leaving his side. He’d also definitely tell you he loves you everyday. There won’t be a day where he doesn’t get you all sappy and spill his heart out to you

Giyuu x F!S/O: Moonlit Confessions (Fluff, Modern AU, SFW Scenario)

Note: This will be a little self-indulgent. But I’ll leave the name spaces as (Y/n) and (K/w) for Kyō’s wife’s name.

“How am I even supposed to tell him that?” (Y/n)’s voice was loud with disbelief and a twinge of panic, knowing full well that a few people had already turned their heads to look right at her. Still, she couldn’t care less about what they thought— and even garnered even more stares when she looped an arm through her best friend’s own.

The materials of their kimonos clashed beautifully; a silky burgundy against an equally beautiful hue of blue— which (Y/n) had worn just to get the chance to earn a compliment from her lover.

It wasn’t that her lover— the usually stoic Water Hashira, Tomioka Giyuu— didn’t like her; but his lack of compliments only stemmed from his tendency to always get flustered when he was with her.

And to make things worse for their situation, (Y/n) pretty much simmered down to the same flustered and stuttering reaction whenever he was near. Especially when she caught a glimpse of those pretty blue eyes of his.

Their friends— the Flame Hashira, Kyōjurō, and his wife (K/w)— didn’t even know just how they managed to go on dates when they couldn’t even go without acting like lovesick teenagers in front of the other.

And that was how Giyuu and (Y/n) had found themselves walking with their respective confidantes, before they were set to meet for the festival. Albeit, it was Kyōjurō’s idea to invite Giyuu on a walk before they met up with their respective lovers.

On (Y/n)’s side, she was so busy panicking about her impending confession that she couldn’t keep her mouth shut. Not even (K/w) buying snacks for her had worked, as she only took a small bite before pushing it onto the other woman.

“I can’t just tell him that I love him. He might not return my feelings!”

At that, (K/w) shook her head, before leaning in and flicking her best friend’s forehead. “Kyōjurō tells me that Tomioka-san loves you a lot. And that Kyō saw him smiling when he overheard Kyō telling that story of when you two went out on a date with us.”

“It’s your husband, he could have been making that up to get a kiss from you.”

Instead of getting offended, however, (K/w) only shrugged before smiling right at (Y/n). “Kyōjurō was right when he said that Tomioka-san was going to ask you out for tea, after he met you at our wedding.”

“That was one time, (K/w)!”

The Flame Hashira’s wife merely quirked an eyebrow at that, before changing the topic. “So, where are you and Tomioka-san going later tonight? Seeing the sights? Eating at the stalls? Maybe… kissing behind the abandoned shrine?”

“Gods no. We aren’t you and your walking libido of a husband,” (Y/n) snarked back, which only served to make her snort at the new unsavory name that she could call the Flame Hashira. After all, she had earned the right to tease (bully) him after he had married her best friend. “We’re just going for a walk and then watching the fireworks, and then we’re going home.”

“How boring,” (K/w) teased good naturedly, before turning her gaze straight ahead and subtly making a beeline towards the head of blond and red hair that she saw. “Let’s go by that takoyaki stand, I have to get Kyōjurō some. He’ll be hungry later.”

“You love him too much.”

“Just like how you love Tomioka-san?”

“I don-… shut up.”

Meanwhile on Giyuu’s side of things: he was barely reigning in the urge to knock Rengoku out and make a run for it. He was fed up with consistently being badgered by the other man, especially when it concerned his relationship with (Y/n).

“Do you like her? Or do you love her? I’m asking for a friend.” The Flame Hashira had to know, or else his wife would be upset with him. And he didn’t want that, at all. Happy wife, happy life— that was his belief.

That and if he came back empty-handed, then she wouldn’t make that dessert she’d made that he really loved. He didn’t even know what it was, so he couldn’t very well ask Senjurō to make it.

So, pestering Giyuu it was.

“That’s private.” The Water Hashira answered flatly, before picking up his pace— only to groan audibly when Rengoku had easily managed to catch up to him.

“Just tell me, Tomioka! We’re practically best friends since (Y/n)-chan’s my wife’s best friend. Best friends in law!”

Giyuu didn’t know which pit of hell Rengoku had gotten that idea from, but he bit his tongue to keep himself from saying anything mean to his fellow Hashira. It hadn’t ended very well, what with the blond only getting more annoying.

“Tomioka, tell me!” Then came the worst thing Giyuu could think of: physical touch. Rengoku began poking his arm, with every chorus of ‘tell me’.

Even while he walked, the other Hashira kept up with his pace— even if he had already dashed ahead.

He didn’t even know where he was going anymore, just that he was extremely annoyed at his company. He could have been with (Y/n) already, but Rengoku had asked for his help on buying his wife a present.

Now that Giyuu thought about it, the most he had done earlier was look at the lavish pair of earrings that the Flame Hashira had dropped a serious amount of money on.

It was only then that he figured that he was being toyed with. And he was pissed. His time had been completely wasted— when he could have been with (Y/n) earlier.

“Tell me, Tomioka!” Kyōjurō piped out once more, before going to poke the other Hashira’s arm once more.

However, before the blond’s finger even made contact with Giyuu’s haori, his hand was immediately slapped away. “I’m in love with her! I’m so in love with her, and I don’t know what to do, Rengoku! Does that satisfy you!?”

Red-tinted irises widened a fraction of an inch for a second, before they darted over to a spot behind Giyuu. And the latter didn’t even need to look to know who was there, as Rengoku looked like that he was the cat that got the cream— a lovestruck cat at that.

“There’s my gorgeous wife! Come here and hug me, my love!” Kyōjurō had almost all but forgotten Giyuu in front of him, as he stepped around the other man so he could open his arms for his wife.

(K/w) didn’t fail him, catching on to what he wanted to happen, and dragging a reluctant (Y/n) closer to a speechless Giyuu. Not even digging her heels into the ground kept (Y/n) anchored in place— and she could only watch in wide-eyed horror with her heart pounding so hard in her chest, as Giyuu got closer and closer to her.

Until she was standing right in front of him, with (K/w) and Kyōjurō slowly inching away from them while entangled in their hug.

“We have to… uh… start kissing behind that shrine!” Came the Flame Hashira’s excuse for leaving, which had his wife slapping his arm before biting her bottom lip to keep herself from bursting out in laughter.

Both (Y/n) and Giyuu didn’t even know how much time had passed with them standing on a relatively unpopulated part of the path, not even having the courage to look up at each other and reveal just how red both of their cheeks were.

And it was so filled with a tense silence that even Giyuu couldn’t take it. He had faced countless demons before, yet none of those compared to confessing his love for the one person in his life whom had made him happy.

The one person whom had made him forget all of the painful things in his past, and erased all of his fears for the future.

(Y/n) was so special to him that he couldn’t even begin to describe how much his feelings amounted to; all that he knew was that she was everything he could ever want in life— and all he saw was him and her growing old together in the future.

He was sure that he wanted to be her everything, just as he was sure that she deserved more than a shy and borderline cowardly confession.

So, after taking a deep breath, he finally looked up at her without the commotion that the Rengokus brought with them; only to feel his heart leap up to his throat at how breathtakingly beautiful she looked in her kimono— which was the same shade as his eyes.

Giyuu couldn’t help but want to melt on the spot, yet he fought the stiffness in his legs and began to close the distance between them. Until he was standing right in front of her, with his hands gingerly reaching out and wrapping around her own.

And he was glad that he wasn’t the only one who was nervous, because he felt just how cold and shaky (Y/n)’s hands were.

Slowly, he began to caress her knuckles with the pads of his thumbs— all in an effort to get some warmth into those clammy hands of hers.

However, just when he thought that he had fully taken her ethereal beauty in, the moment she looked straight at him took his breath away; since those eyes of hers looked positively beautiful, especially with the way that the moonlight reflected off of them.

“Oh wait I need to give you something” she said and ran into the estate, when she came back she shyly handed you butterfly hair clip that was beautifully mixed with all your favorite colors

“I was going to give it to you when I confessed my feelings for you” she was currently looking down, her cheeks a light shade of pink

“How long did you have it?” You asked very curious because butterfly hair clips take some time to make

“About two months, I’m so sorry I didn’t confess !”

You assured her it was ok and you were just glad she felt the same way you felt for her
