A little drabble I had to get out of my head...

The head of the house heard the clicking of pumps running towards the door as soon as she entered the mansion. Her old nanny appeared in the doorway slightly out of breath. Ioe's eyes were red as if she'd been crying recently but she still forced a smile.

"Welcome home Lissy" she mumbled, her voice stained.

The four remaining guards came like a troup, all wearing grim expressions and Lissy thought she saw tiny hands grab at the doors with the youngsters heads peeking into the entry hall, but the elderly cook shooed them away as she followed on their heels.

Seeing them all on one spot would have been a pleasant surprise if it wasn't for the tense silence in the room.

"What happened?" Feliciènne's voice was insteady, to which the smiling facade of the housemaid dropped into worry and shame.

"Nothing. We've just-..." her blue eyes swept over to Aya, but the cook shook her head, knuckles white around her wooden walking aid. Then to Fayet, who seemed a little more collected but mimicked the motion. Eventually her head sank. "It's nothing."

Feliciènne turned to the other habitats of the house, but none wanted to meet the heiress' questioning gaze. With a sigh, she gave in.

"Very well. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help with 'nothing'." She whispered and picked up the box from the expedition, passing them by to go to her chambers.

While climbing up the stairs, from the corner of her eyes, she noticed how Ra'iy put his finger to his lips pointedly, while his other clawed hand gripped Ioe by the shoulder, causing the elderly woman to flinch away in anger. But Lissy was blind enough to hope that this was just a little misunderstanding...

Starfinder campaign lost 3 members, the funeral was very rough on our mechanic. Now it’s just 2 ysoki and a vesk stuck on a Hell Planet, trying to pave the way forward.

Do you have any Winx OCs that aren’t fan kids?

Yes and no! I had Maya, a Solarian Fairy of Liquid Moonlight (she’s the source of my username), but she eventually split into three different characters for personal projects (the Maya from Fantasy Story, Naia from my Magical Girl story, and Camila from yet another story), so she doesn’t really exist anymore. Tho in a weird case, most of the supplementary cast in the AU (like the guys’s families and plenty of RF teachers) are OCs.

your excitement is literally contagious! i wrote the story, but i'm still finding myself getting hyped up over what you're excited about!! this chapter really explored the intricacies of the general's past (his relationship with his family—plus his standing with our oc!!)

i guess word travels fast in solaria 😳 but it's also almost been a year since our oc woke up with all of her memories gone. i'm sure everyone and their mothers have heard of her by now. and to think she's also sort of a prodigy?? bro, who wouldn't stan?? 😩

ahh it also looks like i have done my job 😎 my very intent with this chapter was to make a seamless transition between the thoughts of the general and the oc!! that way, if there were any parallels in their thinking, it would be ultra-obvious!

there were a hell of a lot of topics touched upon in this chapter! it's meant to be the kind where you really have to think about it!

#adultlife is kind of strange. i've already experienced being chased down by a man, a blackout, figuring out how to cook, scrubbing down my whole apartment after spotting two—yes, two—fucking spiders. it has been hectic, especially since i'm balancing summer classes, but i'd rather have a busy schedule than no schedule at all! it keeps me in check LOL. adult life is weird because you get so much freedom, but the caveat is definitely the arbitrary problems that pop up out of nowhere and it's your responsibility to fix them. essentially, no more hand-holding. but i'm honestly fine with that because i was always independent. yet... when it comes to things like spiders and men following me, i have to draw the line
