Socially Acceptable Tackling (and how to get back up again)
- Rating: Mature - Ships: Killugon, Leopika/Senritsu polyship - Major TWs: systemic adult abuse (psychological), disordered eating, innuendo/sexual humor
Summary:
Gon plays rugby on the college team, and his skill on the field definitely has national recruiters eyeing him. But then he meets Killua in art class, and unsurprisingly, they hit off almost immediately. But Killua is closed off, friendly but excruciatingly private, and Gon can quickly sense that something is amiss. If only Killua would talk to him...
Killua is the latest in a long line of world-class gymnasts in the prodigal Zoldyck family. But since training under his father and brother takes up the majority of Killua's time, he can't see Gon too often - a pity, because he's discovered a passion in rugby (and in Gon himself, but that’s beside the point.)
But when Gon convinces Killua to play rugby, the lie of a world-class gymnast and a private family unravels. There's definitely a reason that Silva and Illumi hired in-house physicians, and the school's resident clinician, Leorio, is far from the type of person to let this lie. So he gives an ultimatum: if Killua wants to stay on the team, he has to pass a physical exam.
Only…there’s no way he can – not with his parents in the picture. But with Gon by his side?
...Maybe it's possible after all.

Little Siblings - Hollow Knight fic!
(my first Hollow Knight ficlet asdaksdjfadsj)
It was following her, and she did not like it. But she kept leaping through grasses that brushed her horns with gentle tickling strokes, ignoring the little ghost behind her.
Normally, she wouldn’t have hesitated. Several of them had found her before – or rather, she had found them – and she’d made short work of them. Many of them were weak little things, just strong enough to clamber out of that dark, corpse-covered hole. But her Nail sent them back quickly enough, tiny shadows crying voicelessly as they sank back into the darkness they’d been born in.
Sometimes she felt a little bit guilty about putting them back in that solemn, silent abyss.
But the alternative was letting a weak Vessel crack the same way the current one had. The one hope that her sort-of father had was flawed, and she couldn’t let just any Vessel fix the problem. It could only be the strongest, most perfect Vessel.
So she kept challenging them. And they kept dying.
Until this one.

Prompt: "You could talk about it, you know?"
They’re sitting, side by side, with legs swinging free over a black ocean that glitters under stars. The drop would be dizzying, a yawning stretch of potential freefall waiting to grasp them, but- there’s life in the ground beneath him, he can feel it.
He wonders how he’s never noticed before. It explains so much, so terribly much.
The campfire crackles in the silence. It’s been a long time since they’ve sat on this high concave cliff, stars overhead winking like the knowing twinkle of melancholy in Mito’s warm eyes. Gon doesn’t say anything in response, breathing in the spaces of Killua’s exhales. Maybe it’s been too long. A lot happened all those years ago - a lot of pain that left festering wounds, throbbing with the knowledge he’d been left behind. Throbbing with the knowledge that he’d done the leaving.
Alluka was powerful now, though. Strong in a way the Zoldycks would never have guessed. Strong in a way he’d never predicted. That he’d never been taught to predict. Maybe Gon would have known - not that the wasted years will ever rewind and give him a chance to start again.
And so, here he was, back where he started, like a pendulum finally falling back toward its starting point. Was Gon his center? The thought makes his breath fade to nothing. Amber eyes finally flicker to his face, emotion swimming liquid through that single glance. Is there Nen there again? It’s too bright to tell, and Killua’s always been just a little lightless moon, trapped in Gon’s orbit.
That’s really what he is, isn’t it? Cold rock, little more than a husk, spinning around a living, breathing, bursting planet.
What is there to talk about, again?
Then Gon’s hand curls around his wrist, lacing through his fingers. The stubble on that tan chin is faint - he tries to keep clean-shaven, Killua can tell by the tiny nicks along his jawline.
“I know I hurt you, back then,” Gon says to him, and his voice is rough and cracking. The air has disappeared again and Killua tries not to choke. “...I just...wanted you alive. Even if it hurt you.”
He chokes anyway. There must be waves in his eyes now, rippling water waiting to break and rain down his cheeks.
“...I would have died with you,” he says, and the creaking ocean sits silent when the tears fall. Gon’s free hand cups his chin, brushing saltwater away. Somber expressions didn’t suit that wide face, the planes of bronze unnaturally stiff.
“I know that now.”
There’s no apology, not this time. The apology for the hurtful words was over and done with, years in the past. This is something else - something Gon is not sorry for. Killua takes a shuddering breath, sea salt in his nose.
“We won’t do that again,” Killua whispers. “I have other things to live for.”
Gon nods, lunging forward and wrapping time-broadened shoulders in a tight hug. His shampoo smells like pinecones and Killua closes his eyes, arms open.
“And I know what my life means now. Especially to you.”

Prompt: Please: Their eyes met for the breifest of moments but it was all he needed (Brainwashed Assassin Killuia vs Gon pwease !)
(compliant with the previous prompt in this universe)
A Zoldyck strike was an assassination worthy of being international news, especially one that took place in a crowded room without a single hint as to the perpetrator’s identity or features. It had been perfectly executed, Gon knew that without even a moment’s thought. He knew his friend’s skill, knew the lethal edge and flickering Nen better than the back of his hand.
To be fair, he didn’t know the back of his hand all that well. It’s not as if it was a body part he examined often.
But he’d kept quiet. They all had. The smell of ozone had been clear, the briefest glimpse of cold blue eyes, hard and unfeeling, under white fringe a telltale flash of color. Leorio, Kurapika, the other Hunters - they knew.
Gon curled up tighter on the balcony cushions, looking aimlessly out over the city, dressed only in simple, comfortable clothes. The assassination had been three days ago, and he couldn’t think of anything but that dangerously beautiful look in Killua’s eye.
From the highrise across the street, blue eyes flashed with wavering confusion.
Gon blinked, sighing deeply. And then, as the window shattered, glass raining across the street, he stood, Jajanken blazing around him. Killua’s lips were sealed, claws out and sharp, lancing across the steel railing around Gon’s balcony. But when they locked gazes, trading blows that rocked the building, there was a flicker of smiling life in the cold blue.
And in that one glance, he knew he could still reach Killua.

HxH AU List! (long post, sorry)
Here’s a masterpost of all my HxH AU ideas for you all with short summaries! Because even *I* get them all mixed up sometimes. So these are all the AU’s I’m planning or have written a bit for.
FEEL FREE TO ASK/DM ME ABOUT ANY OF THESE! (approx 9 are detailed under the cut)
Seeking Petrichor (high fantasy/scifi mashup plus post apocalyptica) (link)
Gon Freecs is a blacksmith by trade, but dreams of leaving to search for his Druid father, the enigmatic and absent Ging Freecs.  And Killua Zoldyck is the part-elven heir to the Padokean throne of assassin-kings, but he was overthrown by his eldest brother following the failed assassination of the Necromancer, the immortal tyrant of the Burning Wastes.
Their meeting is an accident - on the run from the Necromancer’s enslaved spirits after his bungled attempt at killing an immortal, Killua is injured and Gon saves his life. And that should have been the end of their interaction.
But Killua knows Ging. And Gon is a natural wielder of the one magic that can protect Killua from the Shades hunting him - Druid magic. So they join forces, and end up being swept along in the quest to end the Necromancer’s 700-year reign over life, death, and the radiation that killed a world at war 700 years ago.
Relevant tws: eventual smut (but none yet, and yes it’s plot relevant), graphic depictions of violence, MCD, (Leopika also features in this fic! I WILL have my dorks happy together)
Modern Vampire AU (canon compliant) no link available yet
Six years after the Dark Continent Massacre, Killua and Alluka finally settle down in Swardani City while Leorio oversees Alluka’s medical transition. However, because Killua’s job as a Two-Star Blacklist Hunter calls him away often enough to leave major holes in Alluka’s defense, he enlists the help of an old friend - Two Star Lost Hunter, Gon Freecs. It’s a touch awkward - they’ve been dancing around each other in more ways than one for six years, despite Alluka’s best matchmaking efforts.
But then Killua accepts a mission to track down and capture a high-profile serial killer. And he’s just about the close the case when Cheadle calls him - his mission has been co-opted by the Hunter Association, and he’s sent packing. But it’s too late - Killua’s sudden exodus from the case has made him a target, and the killer strikes. Only, this killer isn’t strictly a killer. He’s a vampire, straight out of a fairytale book, and once bitten, Killua’s blood curdles.
Lucky for him, he’s rescued - by a ‘vegetarian’ coven that pledges to drink only animal blood. With their help, he and Gon learn what his new abilities - and limitations - are, and worst of all, learn the true reason that the Hunter Association pulled Killua off the serial-killer-mission. Vampire Hunters.
And the leader of the Vampire Hunter team is none other than their old friend, Kurapika.
Relevant tws: Blood (duh) and some graphic violence
College Rugby AU (No details currently available)
Reserved for the hxh big bang for 2020, if/when that happens - the usual one that allows tw stuff and isn’t limited to strictly fluff, b/c this fic is gonna include themes of homophobia, disordered eating, and adult abuse to some extent. You know, Zoldyck shit.
If the usual Bang doesn’t happen, I’ll post anyway, of course, but not immediately.
Hero/Villain (Megamind Style) AU (link - first chapter of oneshot collection)
Jajanken is Metropolis City’s darling, the sweet, polite hero that protects the citizenry and local businesses from criminals of all kinds. He’s well known and well publicized, his friendly relationship with Mayor Morow making every newscaster sing nothing but praises. He’s a good man with a good heart, but he’s naive and Killua knows it
The sharp-tongued supervillain, Godspeed, however, is not so easily fooled. A slippery felon well known and reviled for his criminal exploits, Godspeed has just as much media publicity as Jajanken - but for all the wrong reasons. He’s a class traitor hiding behind a mask, wreaking havoc on the projects of government corruption and corporate greed, and there’s nothing Mayor Morow and his associate, the Honorable Illumi Zoldyck, would like to see more than Jajanken finally ending his career - for good.
Godspeed is also a good man with a good heart, Gon finds. But he’s cynical and snappy and will do anything to expose the rotten core of the city - including staging dozens of battles so the only casualties are corporate bankrolls, even if that means being arrested (again).
It’s a good thing Killua doesn’t mind escaping from prison too much - and even better, Gon just happens to have a spare bed.
Relevant tws: canon-compliant violence
Greek AU - Timeframe: Persian to Peloponnesian War (link to post)
Killua is a rich Athenian man, raised by the Zoldyck family to one day become one of the ten Strategoi - the powerful military generals that defend the Athenian citystate. Meanwhile, Gon is a Spartan citizen, a highly skilled warrior on his way to becoming a general in his own right. Ordinarily, these two would never meet - Athens and Sparta are enemies and their hatred for each other is intense.
But then the Persians invade, and an uneasy alliance must form to defend against the Persian monarch, Meruem. Killua and Gon are both brought along to accompany their fathers for war councils...and end up hitting it off VERY well before realizing they’re on opposing sides of an intense rivalry.
It’s a good thing that Gon is a demigod, Killua’s benevolent patron goddess is the sister of Gon’s mother, and Alluka is the beloved Oracle for Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and Strategy. Otherwise their covert romance would be discovered long before Illumi gets around to actually investigating. (they’re not nearly as sly as they think they are.)
Bonus: Mito is the high priestess for Ares, God of War, in Sparta, and so she’s regularly able to kick ass.
Relevant tws: None currently, will add as requested.
Revolutionaries AU (canon compliant, inspired by whumptober) Link here
Killua and Gon have traveled to the Republic of Rokario to reconcile themselves with the horrors of the Chimera Ant War, with Alluka at their side. But while trying to recover from the trauma of years past, they’re caught in the middle of a civil war in which the military and government of Rokario turns on its own people. And being Killua and Gon, they can’t sit still.
They end up siding with the protesting citizenry and end up becoming sort-of reformist/anarchist leaders, alongside Alluka. And to protect the innocent, they fight. It’s the Chimera Ant arc all over again, with one crucial difference.
As Netero once said to Merueum - You know nothing of the bottomless malice within the human heart
And Killua and Gon are about to learn that all over again.
Relevant tws: Graphic violence, torture, psychological torture/warfare, grey morality, heavy angst, whump, war crimes, military takeover/brutality, etc. W.
And, Assorted Angst/Tragedy/Hurt-Comfort ficlets (Canon Compliance Varies)
(bonus) Crossover AUs
HxH HP AU (in process)
Not enough plot to talk about yet, but Gon’s the Slytherin and Killua’s the Hufflepuff and Killua is trying to Avoid Illumi At All Costs no I do not take criticism
HxH/Bleach Crossover (all my fave ships lol)
BASICALLY Toushiro is the first Zoldyck’s sibling or something and he periodically visits the Zoldyck heirs to see if they have reiatsu and can see him (the white hair means they’ve got a stronger connection with death/shinigami powers)
Killua has the clearest sight a Zoldyck heir has had for centuries so Toushiro kinda likes following him around and watching over him - and yes he intervenes during Killua’s first Hunter exam when Illumi uses Nen because that PISSES HIM OFF.
Basically this fic AU is IchiHitsu Adopts Killugon and Becomes Leopika’s Mom-Friend and YES Killua eventually develops a Fullbring-like-thing alongside his Nen abilities (Gon does too)
Let me know if anyone is curious about these AUs!! I’d be happy to ramble about them - and some of them have art :D

First/Last WIP Challenge
tagged by: <3 @subdee
Okay though, but since I have so MANY WIPs I’ll do four of my faves, lol
The rules: post the first/last line of a wip then tag as many people as there are words. (yeah im not gonna do *that* my sentences are too long)
Seeking Petrichor
first line: The forge was blisteringly hot so close, and the superheated air singed the hair from his face as he bore down on the bellows, applying even pressure to the wood and oxhide creation.
last line: No wonder Killua had slept so long after he’d been rescued.
??? (title redacted)
first line: Chalk always had felt slightly unpleasant on his hands, especially after his palms were starting to become sticky with sweat.
last line: He swiped his resident-access card and the lock clicked, door popping open with an inviting squeak.
Modern Vampire AU
first line: At least it wasn’t raining, and at least he knew the hospital was only a five-minute run if he went over the rooftops.
last line: But that had been where his memory ended, until the cracked daylight had woken him, and he’d stumbled through a haze of blood loss to his, Gon and Alluka’s apartment.
Dragon Blade
first line: It was an average day in Tokyo when it finally happened, and as a young child clapped her hands in excitement, jumping up and down in front of the escalator, a glowing, faceless being suddenly materialized and began running in circles around her.
last line: The mix of shame and gratitude that charred his golden cheekbones was a powerful heat, and yet Izuku’s mother had said very little to him since he’d taken a seat in her car.

Black Trigger, Break Ch5
“This is not a Rabit of Afrokrator. And I cannot identify a planet of origin.” Replica said, sounding very serious, and Yuuma shook his head slowly, twin Scorpion blades flashing into his hands. The Rabits from Afrokrator had been bulky and dense like this one, but they certainly hadn’t had tails, nor intricate spines down the center of their backs like some kind of strange lizard. This was either a new model, which he doubted, or the technology from Afrokrator had been leaked somehow and adapted by someone else. Either way, it was bad news – for one very big reason.
“Osamu, Chika, watch out – it’s different from the other Rabits,” he warned, tensing up as the Trion Soldier started to move towards his two teammates. “It knows how to use Stealth, and it has different limbs. This one wasn’t on our radar.”
Chika gasped in realization, her cloaked signature shifting to the side of a building. She was getting in position to shoot for real. He’d better move if he wanted to stay intact.
“You’re right,” she murmured, her voice echoing through the internal comms of his Trion body. “Yuuma, do you recognize it?”
And that was the kicker, wasn’t it? That despite all the planets his father had taken him to, despite all the data stored in Replica’s computerized memory, he had no idea whose Rabit this was.
“No. Neither does Replica. Whatever it is, it’s new.”

Black Trigger Break
(help I’m writing for World Trigger now-)
It had been, what, three years? Three years since the ship had left with Tamakoma-2 safely onboard, three years since the infiltration of Afrokrator and the devastating fate of those captured people had been shoved into their naïve faces, three years since Hyuse had overthrown an entire House for them? Three years since their lives had been sobered, since Replica had been recovered, since they’d fallen into this pattern of quiet remembrance and the grieving knowledge that they hadn’t been able to save everyone? Only three years?
Sometimes it all felt like a distant memory. The Neighborhood was wary of Border now, scrambling in the aftermath of Afrokrator’s fall from grace and the scattering of their Black Triggers, all jockeying for positions of power in the ashes. Hyuse held on to what was left of his country, leading them skillfully, his strategy keen. But Afrokrator wasn’t a superpower of Trion anymore, just a normal, formidable country that Earth had to contend and ally with. Hyuse did what he could from the other side, still wearing Tamakoma-2’s bright teal-blue colors. But it was clear - the Neighborhood was different now, more fractious and less peaceful. More dangerous despite the new alliances made. And so, Border had grown accordingly, so that no more civilians would be taken again.
And now Tamakoma had two A-rank teams within its walls, and the single Black Trigger that mattered.

Prompt please (It didn't really matter what colour the wall was but did it have to be that color?)
"Leorio, PLEASE."
It was garish. Bright yellow, like lemons or bananas or Pariston's latest glitzy suit - a terrible comparison that left his stomach turning. Next him, Senritsu was nodding along, her small face smooth with acceptance. She'd been swayed in an instant, one look at their big grey eyes enough to have her falling down the trap of yellow walls.
The deep red and rich blue - those Leorio could deal with. But this...?
"It's...so bright..." he offered weakly, fighting the urge to cave. Kurapika blinked at him, fluttering their eyelashes, and took his hand.
"Yes, that's the point," They said patiently. "Please, Leorio."
Senritsu smiled knowingly at him, and he went red across the face. Kurapika's lips twitched - that bastard, they were hiding a smile.
"...fine..."
It turned out that the yellow looked quite pretty indeed, painted in careful, traditional Kurta designs on a background of blue and red all over their living room.
Not that Leorio would admit it, of course.
But they knew. They always knew.

shit fuck ahahaaha I'm not good at prompts and I don't know exactly how to write a prompt but I have an idea??? Lol idk if it's just like a line, or a quote, or something else but I'm just gonna say my idea (sorry for the rambling): Years after Gon and Killua parted ways, Killua went back to the family business (for whatever reason he had), and Gon sees Killua on a job
OOF GOING STRAIGHT FOR MY HEART, OW.
Kris I love you but WHY.
In retrospect, attending the Hunter Association’s yearly dinner was a mistake, but Leorio had begged and pleaded for Gon to go with him, to be his ‘wingman’ so to speak. As if Kurapika would jump at any chance to kiss the gangling doctor already. But he’d sighed and agreed to help Leorio preside over the whole nonsensical thing.
He played nice all night, shaking hands with all the rich people and greasy politicians that pretended to give the Hunter Association their approval. Leorio was very proud of him, as was Kurapika.
It was like they’d forgotten that his twenty-fifth birthday was rapidly approaching or something. Ugh.
But other than the sheer monotony of keeping up a polite façade the whole time, the evening was dull enough. The food was good, the hired musicians skilled, and Leorio and Cheadle’s speech was full of fluffy words that meant nothing in the long run. It was all just a formality to keep everything running the way it was supposed to be running. Smooth, with full treasuries, and minimal government interference. The prime minister came up and shook Cheadle’s hand, all fake smiles.
And then lightning flashed in the back corner of the room, a lightbulb breaking, the power flickering off for a single heartbeat.
At first Gon didn’t think anything of it. And then the man’s body sagged, the prime minister dropping like a stone off the edge of the stage, chest torn bloodlessly open in less time than it took to blink. Gon shot to his feet, inhaling deeply enough to smell ozone.
To smell lightning.
He looked up. There was a man at the back of the room, tall and pretty, wearing a crisp black suit with a rose pinned in the lapel, the only hint of color on his attire. White hair fell across his forehead, the familiar cowlick puffing the white curls out, and eyes like the unforgiving deep blue of unmelted glaciers of sea ice.
They made eye contact.
“Killua…?”
But the words died on his lips, and the rose fell to the ground, leaving stains of blood on the tile.
Killua was gone.
And Gon, for the first time since he was young and broken and fourteen, had something worth chasing again.

Black Trigger, Break - Ch 2
They’d been challenged by a group of up-and-coming B-rankers, a new squad that had inexorably worked it’s way up through the ranks of B-rank teams, and Osamu had to hand it to them – they deserved their top B-Rank slot. It was a clever setup – two attackers and a pinpoint-accurate sniper, similar to Tamakoma-2’s usual formation. However, while their sniper was incredibly accurate, he was clearly the team’s ace, and with Osamu and Yuuma distracting the attackers, a well-placed blast from Chika’s Ibis took him out in one blow. Said shot also leveled the skyscraper-rich map that the B-rank team had chosen, making Osamu’s Spider traps half useless, but since it opened up much more convenient avenues of fire from his Asteroid, the loss wasn’t too much to bear. And then while Osamu had the two attackers distracted with a barrage of Asteroid fire, Yuuma’s Scorpion boomerangs cut them down cleanly.
Overall, it was a very good match. The B-rank team had displayed some excellent strategy and teamwork, and Chika had popped by to chat excitedly with their sniper after the battle. Even Hyuse, after being sent the video of his team’s battle, had to admit the B-rankers were good. Just…not quite good enough. Not yet. They’d get there. Probably.
“-doesn’t matter what you say, Mikumo. Kuga would have been enough to defeat all three of them alone.”
Osamu huffed, glaring at the tablet screen showing Hyuse’s smug face and black horns, his Black Trigger Organon tucked against his side – a memento from his late mentor. Hyuse had been teasing his teammates for the past ten minutes over videochat now, quite convinced that the B-rank team would have been easily defeated by their on-world ace. Osamu and Chika were pretending to be offended, as was the usual, and Yuuma…
“Hmm, hmm, I’m not sure if I could do it all by myself,” Yuuma mused, his round face puffed into the Duckface of Denial again. “…Just mostly by myself. Chika helped.”

Black Trigger Break, Ch 4
3 weeks later
“Aw, Yuuma-senpai, one more ten-round!”
Yuuma danced back nimbly, skipping out of Midorikawa’s reach as the other teenager lunged haphazardly at him, grinning widely. They’d been goofing off playing with the Solo Rank Wars, killing time while Osamu was off discussing strategy and scheduling off-world rotations for Tamakoma Branch, but fairly soon they were both due in to watch the C-rank attackers practice. Chika was already off on the firing range, coaching new snipers carefully through their weapon choices and explaining the basics of long-distance shooting.
“Hm, but we’ve already had thirty matches, and it’s nineteen to eleven, fair and square,” he hummed. “I think this means you’re the one who has to do the talking this time, Midorikawa.”
The seventeen-year-old pouted at him irritably, puffing his cheeks out, and swiped for Yuuma’s arm again. He missed, crashed into the railing overlooking the common area below and then sank dramatically to the ground, giving up.
“But Chibi-senpai, I don’t wanna,” he whined. Yuuma puffed his cheeks out to match, feigning nonchalance.
“Oh, well that’s too bad,” he chirped, tucking his hands behind his head, gloves brushing against his white hair. “You still lost.”

Killugon hero/villain AU (honestly? Megamind-inspired)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY @trashsketch!! (Hope u like this! <3)
Prompt # 1473 from @humdrummoloch on tumblr!
“Can’t you just steal it?”
“I’m a supervillain, not a petty criminal.”
It was definitely always a surprise to see Godspeed out of the specially-constructed jail cell that Metropolis City always tried (and failed) to imprison him in, but what honestly caught Gon more off guard than anything was how ordinary Godspeed looked in normal civilian clothes. And Godspeed was anything but ordinary. He should have recognizable on sight to most of Metropolis City’s population. But from the cheerful way he was chatting happily away with the redheaded store clerk, it was more than obvious that nobody else had recognized him.
It was weirdly reminiscent of how not a single soul had ever recognized Gon as Jajanken, despite his only identity protection being a lazy mask that only barely covered his cheekbones and forehead. It seemed they had the same strange anonymity cloaking them at all times, the veil Gon had never been able to puzzle out.
Ah well. He had a job to do. Sort of.
Gon started walking, the half-filled shopping basket in the crook of his arm creaking with tension as he wound his way through racks of clothing towards the chatty prison escapee and the young cashier currently scanning at least twelve boxes of chocolate on his scanner. Amber eyes blinked owlishly at the amount of chocolate in shock, sliding silently into line behind the whippetlike man he’d only just sent to jail again last week. Godspeed didn’t seem to notice him, watching eagerly as the smiling cashier rang up his order and gave him a basket stocked high with chocolate milk, varied types of chocolate candies and cereals, and at least one discounted chocolate bunny left over from the holiday two weeks ago.
Gon stared, mildly horrified by the quantity of chocolate his ultimate nemesis was apparently able to consume. No wonder the guy could move so fast, with that amount of sugar in his system. Eating that much candy should be a crime.  Especially given the perpetrator.

Please...PLEASE continue the gon sees killua on the job years later ficlet that was INCREDIBLE PLEASE PLEASE
Well, I don’t know how much I can give you, but here! take a few sentences!
>
“You’re positive it was him?”
Gon glances back, feet and hands and heart still numb from shock, flashing blue lights dancing across his brow. The body has been collected, the EMTs in shock at the perfectly surgical removal of the heart, and Leorio now stands behind him, his stubble vibrating.
It’s just enough to give away his trembling.
Gon nods wordlessly, staring at the shards of lightbulb strewn across the ground. He can taste it, the scent on the air tingling across his tongue and through his nose, prickling, sharp and familiar. He knows this scent better than he knows his own.
Across the street the ambulance pulls away solemnly, the corpse inside carried to whichever loved ones were called to meet it. Gon watches it go, eyes hard like jasper. Kurapika is on the phone now, calling whoever he needs to in order to catch the singular assassin that caused this, but his voice is halfhearted. He knows better than to think a phone call can outstrip Godspeed.
“I’m going to Kukuroo Mountain,” Gon says, and Leorio stiffens. Kurapika’s grey eyes glitter with acknowledgement.
“We’re coming with you.”

Prompt: cwinter is better, because I get to cuddle you" 👀 does this work?
(It does! :3c IchiHitsu coming right up!)
“What do you mean, you don’t like summer?”
He’d been trying to concentrate on the papers strewn all over the office coffee table for the past fifteen minutes, but the whining of a certain fiancé in his ear caught him entirely off guard with that remark. He turned, staring at Ichigo with something like disbelief, Matsumoto’s 40th request for another week of leave half-torn in his hands. Ichigo, not liking summer, despite being near-miserable and clingy all winter every year they’d been together?
Brown eyes winked brightly at him, and Hitsugaya sighed as his fiancé readjusted how he was laying across the long legs, grudgingly letting Ichigo manhandle him to a slightly more comfortable position. The substitute (or, he had been when he’d been alive 80 years ago) Shinigami just smiled down at him, calloused hands carding through thick silvery hair.
“Winter is better, because I get to cuddle you, Toushiro.”
Pink heat flushed the sides of Hitsugaya’s throat, and he sat up with an irritable huff, grabbing Ichigo by the collar of his shihakusho.
“Idiot,” he said, and pressed their lips together.
