This is already pretty much canon, Pearl tried to show her rebel and more "hip" side, she wants to be seen as "cool" by Amethyst's standards (what she doesn't know is that Amethyst already found her cool, but didn't say it)

Amethyst likes to show her strategy in battle, and also that she's smart — more than what she usually shows. She'll try to read some books that Steven reads, and go through multiple wikipedia pages about things that are Pearl's interests.

11. What is something small, but cute they do for one another? Ex - leave cute encouraging notes for one another on the counter.

Since both are quite interested about the Earth, and how it works. They tend to explore their surroundings quite oftenly! Sometimes it's together sometimes it isn't. When they're going by themselves they'll ALWAYS come back with something — A rock, a leaf, a seashell...and once they get to the other they'll say "Look what I found, reminds me of you." And then talk about what they explored and how it made them relate the small object to the other.

Since they're dorks, they also have a competition about who can find more things that remind them of the other.

Peridot is winning, just because Lapis cannot stand not accepting every single one of Peridot's offerings as unique.

Typically in the form of a date, or treats, or flowers. In schools, usually elementary it was customary to give everyone a card saying happy valentines day regardless of gender. Dunno if that has changed now though~
