i guess thats one thing i miss bout having a partner, someone to listen to my inane ramblings and help me sleep at night. I find comfort in a trusted person beside me, physically or over the phone.

Yeah uh, not to bring up the QPR thing again either, but from my understanding the issue with the Phil clip is people feeling that the description "platonic life partners" doesn't necessarily cover people writing stuff that would easily be read as romantic if not for the tags, even though that is covered under a more-than-three-words-long description of QPR. I am in the weird place where I think the people who go "obviously it's fine" have a point and the people who go "uh not actually sure about this" have a point.

Like, I am still weirded out by this fandom's need to check every aspect of fandom with the creators, it seems invasive, why are we making them weigh in on pronoun headcanonos, but "the qpr thing" comes from people wanting to make sure that if our baseline is clearing it with the creators, we're not slipping things in that would actually freak them out under a grey area.

o yayay i been like. well in my argument against ppl gettin at it i dont really specify what i mean enough tbh but i totally get that aspect of it like

the discussion of what could be Too Far in qpr depictions is Good cuz like definitely ppl go into 'just straight up shipping but pretending it isnt' territory and THAT fuckin sucks. i agree that those kinda instances of qprs r fucked And that like. no doubt phil couldnt have gotten such things from one dono

mostly when i get ticked at the qpr thing i mean like. the people i saw on twitter taking it from 'people go too far with some qprs' to 'qpr headcanons are too intense and break boundaries and need to be stopped' yknow??? like i get more angry at how it goes to extremes rather than a decent conversation of how ppl will abuse the qpr headcanons to hide their romantic n sexual depictions of them

oh and ya like. honestly the Need to check every possible hc is weird to me too BUT like. honestly i aint mentioned it too much cuz im like... what is the Alternative yknow? like people wantin to create things and bein worried bout if its outside of boundaries makes sense n isnt a Bad thing inherently. but Also it can be intrusive and kinda awkward n uncomfortable to ccs who may jus not want to know of fan creations. but then like. what could be done instead? i have no clue n its a weird point to me
