I missed the onboarding meeting for my new job because the boss said we don’t do it before Easter and send the email for it yesterday (the meeting being today) when I already mentally checked out of the week and didn’t check my emails anymore.

So yeah… feeling really awesome right about now

Fortunately for my mother, I am not like her, and so I won't go off on her for the text message she sent with horrible timing about something negative!! :))) (I was so tempted though, believe me. It's kinda shameful how much I wanted to)

Me: I think you misheard me, I said ...

Mom: And I'll be on top of you to do this other thing you've been slowly chipping away at, but it's also a priority for you to put more energy into this other thing you've been slowly making progress on. Also, you need to start exercising and I want you to work on these other 10 things that each have multiple steps and some of them involve things you don't have but you also can't get. Also add sleep to your list and blah blah blah blah blah
