for the folks who wanted all of Susan Twist's casting appearances to date, here you go:
Mrs Merridew in Wild Blue Yonder
Mystery Woman in The Church on Ruby Road (uncredited)
Comms Officer Gina Scalzi in Space Babies (uncredited)
Tea Lady in The Devil's Chord
Ambulance in Boom
i don't believe Russell for a second, that they just 'ran out of actors' 😂 i am convinced that this mystery woman played by Susan Twist is some sort of embodiment of Story, the way Maestro is the embodiment of Music. the way she keeps playing supporting parts, the reference to Margaret Lockwood in The Wicked Lady...
there's a few theories percolating right now, but i think she's a large part of the reason why the fourth wall keeps being broken. it's strange, how intrusive her presence is...it seems that with each episode, her importance to the plot grows stronger. she's gone from small speaking roles which don't impact the story, to directly interacting with the Doctor and Ruby, to being capable of killing characters in the central plot...
is it possible that Susan Twist's character is attempting to take over the narrative and become the main character of Doctor Who herself? 👀

i like how this ep was made unsettling right off the bat w the lack of opening theme. wanna make your audience of 60+ years lean forward? take away that title sequence!!!

loved how the roger ap gwilliam stuff really encapsulated the alt right w/o directly stating anything. the connotations of calling the party albion, the welsh nationalism , simplistic goals of obtaining nuclear weapons to keep Britain on top that boil down to him wanting absolute power and control ,and the most chilling line of the whole ep being 'marti. boys name.' just that tiny whiff of gender non conformity and he had to stamp out her bright spark completely . chills

Hey yall!! Introducing one of my favorite pieces of the last few years, Sea Oddity: a repeating pattern of hand drawn and watercolor rendered jellyfish, horseshoe crabs, nudibranchs, and sea monkeys. (repeating watermark added just to be safe <3)
I uploaded it to Spoonflower last year as part of the assignment I made it for, and now it's publicly available to purchase on there as well as on my brand new Society6 shop! If you want a little sea critter print or some fabric to make a sea critter sewing project, this might be the perfect one!

I know how we all love to say that Will looks good covered in blood but I bet he fucking hates it. Have you ever been covered in blood? Its a sensory nightmare. His autistic ass would crumple like a car in a high speed collision if he had to sit there in damp clothes smelling like copper for more than 5 minutes. And if it dried on him? Full meltdown. No wonder he hurled himself into the ocean after killing Dolarhyde. Bro was probably ready to crawl out of his own skin at that point. On that note: Hannibal also hates the feeling of blood on his skin (despite liking how it looks) hence the clear vinyl suits

Keep your FUCKING cats inside your FUCKING houses. Period. Some asshole outdoor cat just killed one of my birds, on MY property, inside of MY barn, inside their own caging. Not one of the peafowl, thank fucking god, but I'm LIVID right now
