Whitewave ♡

Here are all the current Whitewave households, as we get ready for the start of the next round ♡

Many of these families are in for a change once the new round starts rolling. For example, even though I moved Ruby back in with the Commune, I don't think she's going to stick around for long. Mia, too, should already move on and start living her vampire life somewhere else. And from the newer singles households, both Aamu and Ilona are about to move in with their girlfriends. SO these pictures are going to need an update very soon.

I intend to do versions with names attached (for now they have ALT descriptions you can click to read), and a separate photoshoot for everyone's headshots (so I can make family trees and such). But for now it's too late so that'll have to wait until later.

I was looking at my college picsets and just had to throw these pics together! These are graduation pics paired with pictures from their freshmen year!

I play two uni years per round, which means there's always two different age groups in the university at the same time.

Top down from oldest to newest, names go left to right on the rightside pics:

1: Oliver Aoki, Rayna Limestone (not in first pic) and Neil Waters

Rayna is the oldest of the third generation Limestones. My original plan was for Rayna and Neil to get married and start a family but it just felt SO wrong without Oliver, so now they're building a family all together! They now have two kids, third on the way. Neil and Oliver are CAS made.

2: Kanerva Huotari and Storm Limestone

Storm is Rayna's little brother, and Kanerva is a townie who was good friends with Rayna. Storm and Kanerva are married with two kids.

3: Milo Lovett, Lemon Farwood, Johnny Mills and Rosa Limestone

Rosa is the next sibling of the Limestones in university. Johnny and Lemon are cousins. Lemon and Milo are married with two kids, while Rosa is currently dating and Johnny just got married to Rosanna Sherman.

4: Apple Farwood, Jenny Mills and Shane Limestone

Shane is the youngest of these Limestone siblings in the university! Apple is Lemon's younger sister and Jenny Johnny's. They're all very fresh out of college still, only one round into adulthood, so their future is still very open :)

5: Kevin Rogan (not in first pic), Lila Hart and Ilona Tannen

Ilona, Lila and Kevin are the most recent graduates from university! Lila and Ilona are CAS made, but Kevin was the next Limestone to attend college: he's the cousin to all the earlier Limestones!

The current freshmen include Katy, who's Kevin's younger sister, and Ruby, who's another Limestone cousin to these all! And Mango is the younger brother to Lemon and Apple!

I have decided Whitewave needs a good witch, so once I had spent a few hours cleaning my cc folder (I got sidetracked) I created this sim! I'm not sure if I'll use her in Whitewave but I'm pretty happy with how she turned out.

Thank you sm for tagging me @eulaliasims @phoebe-twiddle @episims!! 😭💚 I decided to smash all your asks together like this because like Eulalia said, I really haven't been in the mood for simming. But! I thought answering this might give me the inspiration to continue playing again!

So I've ranted about Greta so many times that now we're not touching her. Another obvious choice would have been Nikolas, but I've literally done the same tag game with him years ago, so. So today we're talking about.....

Babette Black!

Why Babette? I've said it before, but I love making tributes to old sims in new neighborhoods: Babette is a tribute as well! So this is going to be also about Byanna Bigg, the og Babette.

(Babette left, Byanna right. Sorry the pics are really bad quality, I can’t get to my old laptop right now where all the pics are. That’s also a very early pic of Babette, she looks a lot different these days.)

Babette Black is an evil witch, just like Byanna was.

Byanna married into a big family that, on top of the resident family, was also home to alien twins, a bigfoot and a servo. Babette's home isn't as vivid, but my plan for Babette's big creepy house are very similar!

Byanna Bigg had one daughter, called Willow. I wanted Babette to also have a daughter named Willow, but she ended up having twin girls, so they were named Willow and Harlow.

I think it's very fitting for an evil witch that Babette is a politician. In fact, she is currently the mayor of Whitewave! To get to her position, she married the current mayor and forced him to step down (1/2). That, of course, ended in divorce and Benny moved in with his lover to start a new family. Byanna, on the other hand, was very happily married to her husband River. Although, River was either very oblivious or very ignorant of the things Byanna did in her basement laboratory - she was, after all, a nature biologist searching for a way to live forever. Which is, naturally, Babette’s next goal in life, now that she has reached her lifetime want to become mayor.

Okay this is a bit off topic. But you know how the Limestones in Whitewave own and run the Limestone Hospital? The inspiration to that comes from Byanna Bigg’s family as well! Plus, the starter sim to both Bigg and Limestone families was.............. Nikolas.

So, instead of making those new avatars for my blog… These happened. I wanted to try something a little different! I like how these two pictures turned out, but it sure took me a long time to create them… I really want to experiment with this kind of style more later, but for now I’m just going to call it a day and throw these self-indulgent Greta pics at you.

It’s time for the college round, and here are the new students!

Ilona Tannen is a CAS made sim with a rock’n’roll attitude. She’s outgoing and fun to be around with, but kinda lazy. Her primary aspiration is Pleasure, while her secondary is Wealth. Ilona plans to open her own bakery, which is why her studies focus on cuisine.

Lila Hart is someone you might remember from the color code sim challenge! Lila is a party girl, and she loves music. Even though she is a good student, she really lacks the motivation - she’d rather just party the night away, and work as a DJ. Like Ilona, Lila is also outgoing and fun, but she’s also very grumpy. Her primary aspiration is Popularity, and Pleasure is her secondary.

Kevin Rogan is the first of the Rogan kids to roll in to university!! He’s a proper and hard working kid. His parents both work in law enforcement, and Kevin dreams of following in his mother Dana’s footsteps, to become Captain Hero. He already has the eyeglasses to hide his true identity, now all he needs is a superhero costume!

I love a) Greta, b) expressions in this game and c) how alive these expressions make my sims feel.

Also d) I now have new userpics for this blog and @resometownie! I’m not entirely sure about the one for this blog, though, so I might change it later.

sim in one color challenge by lera5cat4

I got the color #8832F1 (I used this site to get a random hex code) which is like... lavender-ish purple? This sim (named very creatively as Purple Purple) ended up having much more darker tones of purple than the hex code was, but I really like the outcome. I think I might need to add this sim into my neighborhood now. I kinda fell in love with her. 

If you’ve been watching my gameplay posts, you’ll probably know that I like my sims quite natural-looking. I don’t even have too many non-genetic custom hair colors in my game. However, I did have this hair and I also have a ton of makeup that I never use. And a bunch of colorful eyebrows! So, this was the perfect time to use them! I ended up focusing so much on Purple’s face that I sort of gave up with the clothes. I really like her face as well.

Greta (Saints Row) / Rosanna (Mass Effect) / Dinah (Far Cry 5) / Bishop (Far Cry New Dawn)

Other than The Sims 2, I'm a PS player, which means I don't have a lot of screenshots of my own characters. So, I create them in ts2. I have now recreated all of my videogame ocs, so I wanted to a picrew-esque photoshoot with them (I have a dozen picrews with these four over in my personal blog).

Greta has already passed on from Whitewave; Rosanna currently lives there; and Dinah and Bishop are waiting to be moved in!
