I've been thinking about Xamag's Flowey fan music video featuring Sleep by MCR, and still loving how much it fits him, which got me thinking about my version of Flowey/Asriel's feelings about being being a monsterboy stuck in the body of a flower...

How I feel about this character: I LOVE him. He’s a sonflower. He’s a Good Boy. A Perfect Boy. He’s so... earnest... and sad, and good. Disowning your family is SAD and having the family you loved commit atrocities is TERRIBLE and the fact that after that happened he kept not only interacting with society but trying to make everything better, to lead people in friendship and growth and science? That’s just. SO good. He’s so good. The world didn’t deserve him.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Oh man. Annatar, Narvi, Maeglin, Turin, Finrod, and any friendly OCs who will treat him Right.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Tyelpe & Finduilas! Or Tyelpe & Idril!

My unpopular opinion about this character: I think that he had a good childhood and a good, if sometimes complicated, relationship with his father before everything fell apart. Maybe this is more of an unpopular Curufin opinion, but I think he was a good father!
