Sonic and Tails should share the same birthday because they have the honor of both being in the first movie, even if Tails was only a cameo at the end

On a slightly different (but related) note, I do headcanon that Tails was born on the day Sonic lost Longclaw/was sent to Earth, and Knuckles lost his tribe - just to get some symbolism of two lives changing forever, but another life beginning.

Which also means that - if Tails WAS born on that specific day, and movie Sonic and movie Tails share a birthday - that means that Sonic lost everything on his birthday ;_;

Sonic, don't feel sad. It wasn't your fault, but Tails' after all. If anyone deserves blame, it's him.

He hates how obvious the move is. He hates the fact that it's the opposite of clever. Yeah, sure, Sonic's unflappable, but hit out at his little brother and you might just get a reaction. He hates even more that it's WORKING. Like getting got by the world's most obvious Eggman trap.

But that's — he feels his hands curl to fists and then unclench, one rising to curl under his nose, the other rubbing barely against his leg like the sensation might calm him. He feels trapped, angry, he feels like he did watching Cosmo and Chris in that little cage, protective and furious that anybody would try to hurt his family, like his body's too tight for him. It's stupid to fall for the obvious line, but that's his little brother, who was a kid, who had to do an unfathomably brave, impossibly painful thing when that never should have been his responsibility. That's his little brother who is more incredible than anyone Sonic knows, and to have some stranger who wasn't even THERE try to absolve Sonic by drenching Tails's hands with her blood instead feels ——

He thinks, sharp and unkind, that it's a good thing there's none of those fake chaos emeralds nearby.

"Keep my kid brother's name out of your mouth," he mutters, voice devoid of the ease he's known for; to most, the flatness would be jarring enough on its own. Those who know him will notice how hard it is, how sharp. There's almost a growl in the words. "Especially if yer gonna talk about history you know nothin' about."

A beat. Another. His hands cross over his chest, fingers digging into his arms hard enough that bruises bloom there. He can't feel them.

"Get out, before I make you." The threat's a bite.

Nine was surprised Rusty of all people were offering words of reassurance in the decision he made, though it was something he actually needed, if only for the fact being alone with his own thoughts were getting to much even for him. "No, it's fine. You just caught me at a bad time." The fox was willing to admit when he messed up and snapping at the robotic hedgehog was a mess up on his part. "...Thank you," he said before her next statement made him raise a brow.

"Since when did are interests align? Last time we saw each other you were with that pirate version of yourself and you seemed pretty okay with that. Besides, my goal is to change the Grim into a better world than the one's I've been to." Nine then wondered how she even knew he was in the Grim or how she was aware of happened.

"Did Sonic tell you I was here? You gonna try and trick me too? Act all nice then when I'm not looking steal the shards to give them to Sonic?" Nine asked, his hand holding the blast twitching at the thought that Rusty was working with Sonic. The fox's mental state was clearly all over the place with how he went from angry, to calm, and now to paranoia. The question was could the robotic hedgehog convince him she was truly on his side.

About!!

Radeon Evers is a Hybrid Mobian (Wolf/Hedgehog) who had been genetically altered to use and produce a Corrupted Chaos Energy known as the Corrosion. He uses a Rusted Warp Ring to travel Zones and makes money by scrapping materials and building trinkets/robots. He and his Brother Lazarus come from a ruined Zone, and typically hop from place to place as drifters.

History of these two goobers is Here Mun is 20+ Y/o, is semi-literate (Sleep deprivation and a touch of the tism makes spelling errors common) and usually tries to match Response length.

ㅤㅤIt's alarming enough to suddenly be in an area he has no memory of traveling to. It's worse when he considers he was taking a nap just prior to waking up, here. He normally was an extremely light sleeper, and very attuned to when someone would intrude upon the space where he was resting -- and even more likely to wake up if he were touched.

"Sure there is! All you gotta do is ask, Sonic!" Amy was more than happy he asked if anything. She had taken the time to be sure she had some things that he liked for when he came over. It was rare for him to stop by her actual place of living, so she figured it was the perfect chance to show off her cooking to someone!

"I made sure to make your favorite! You have no idea how hard it was to come up with a good recipe for the chili." And she did, indeed, make chili dogs. Why wouldn't she? It was a classic for the fellow hedgehog. "It's probably not the same as normal recipes, but... I spent a long time trying to come up with something that would compliment the hot dogs in a pleasing way."

Even if he didn't like them... She was hoping he'd at least give them a try and recommend some things to her.

Amy always, always tries their best.

Everyone who knows them knows that. Amy is cheerful, determined, does nothing in halves. Amy's will is nigh - unbreakable, and Sonic knows that better than anyone — after all, any normal person would have given up on chasing him after the first cruel rejection or the sixth or the twentieth. After pushiness didn't work and neither did distance, after years of every person she loved — not just Sonic — rolling their eyes and feeling annoyed every time she was so much as there. They don't blame any of them ( half because they know that, when they were little, they ignored boundaries, pushed too hard / half because amy still feels, on the bad days, as annoying and useless as the others all thought they were ) but — it's true. No one with a will short of iron would have stuck around.

Amy always, always tries their best, and so — so — so often, it simply doesn't matter. Their best at the head of the Restoration was breaking their own heart to keep things together and still losing friends — loved ones — little sister. And how different would it have been, if she could have just kept Sonic safe at the beginning? Their best in love has been — well.

Their best in the war is the problem, now. Sonic wasn't here for it — wasn't here, was dead, which felt like Amy being dead, too — and so he'd been surprised when they'd let it slip that some of the settlements, including the one Amy was running supplies to today, hate her. After all, their best in the way was playing tactician. Was sacrificing hundreds of lives trying to save Sonic and thousands once they'd given up, doing a bad thing to avoid a worse one but still DOING A BAD THING. Their best in the war left thousands dead, many knowingly, and many more grieving families and friends. Of course some people hate Amy Rose. Of course the settlements that were hit the hardest hate Amy Rose.

He hadn't liked it. He'd insisted he should come along, whether to keep her spirits up or to protect her more tangibly she isn't sure. She's grateful, somewhere past the buzzing in her head. Years ago, she thinks it would have made her giddy. But now, it just aches.

Amy is so tired of trying their best and it not being enough. They are so tired of trying their best and never being half of what Sonic is — and isn't that unfair of them, too? Putting Sonic on some pedestal they know him well enough to know he'd hate? Selfish and childish, on top of everything, like they've always been. Amy, as she often does, looks at him and wants to cry.

She doesn't. Her shoulders square as she swings to face him, and she inhales, hard. She smiles without meaning it, as she often does. As she often does, especially with Sonic. Her head shakes head. She reminds herself that he's trying to be kind. "I kinda feel like I'm a burden, though," she says, soft laughter in the words to keep them from sounding as real as they are. Amy always tries their best. Someone is always having to clean up her mess anyway. She's so tired of it having to be Sonic. "Really, it's not a big deal. There's almost no risk of actual violence. I can handle some glares."
