“Hey yn” it was him. He was always late when you met. “Sorry I’m late, I had to stay more time at practice.” He got closer to you and cupped your face with both of his hands. “Forgive me?” He looked down at you, his eyes glittered and he had a small pout on his face. He got closer to you and pecked your lips.

You nodded with a dumb smile on your face. You hated that he had so much power over you, and you forgave him every time.

“That’s my girl.” He said smiling and releasing your face from his hold.

After you two hung out at an empty parking lot, he would say goodbye by giving you a long kiss on your lips. You noticed when he walked away he always wore the hood of his sweatshirt and walked fast almost running with his head low.

It hurt you that things had to be like that. You didn’t understand why Yeonjun would hide your relationship. It was very confusing, but you forgot all that confusion when you were with him.

He made you feel many things. He was your first love, and your first everything.

You treasured the memory of your first kiss with him. It happened a few months after you met him. Your sister Yunjin hosted a party at your house when your parents left for a work trip, it was almost 2 am when you walked into the kitchen, the music was still loud but people were starting to leave. As you entered to the kitchen you saw Yeonjun leaning on a counter with a cup on his hands.

“Hey yn, thought you were sleeping.”

“Oh, no, I couldn’t sleep with all the music and I also came to check that everything was alright.”

He nodded and stared at you.

“You look so cute.” He stared at you as he walked closer. You already had your pajamas on, that consisted on an old t-shirt and some pants.

“Thank you.” You were taken aback by his comment, you blushed while staring at him. “Why are you here alone? Where’s Yunjin?” It was weird that he was alone, he was normally crowded by his friends and other people.

“She’s outside with Soobin and Sakura, but she told me that you might come down around this hour.” He said looking into your eyes.

Every time there was a party at your house you would check on everything around this hour just to make sure that everything was fine. You felt like you needed to check that everything and everyone was alright. “You were waiting for me?”

He chuckled. “Well, you can say that. I wanted to see you.” He leaned forward closer to you.

“But why?” It surely was something weird. You never expected Yeonjun to say that to you. Although he was your friend, you didn’t exactly talk to him that much.

“God, yn you’re so oblivious… it’s so cute.” Your eyes widened at his words and he smiled leaning even closer. “You know, I really like you.”

“You do?” You felt his breath on your lips, he nodded. He grabbed your chin gently tilting your head so he could get a better view of your face. “Can I?”

You nodded and he leaned in pressing his lips into yours for a few seconds. He pulled away smiling and he brushed his thumb on your cheek.

And that’s how it all started.

One day you were walking to school with your friend Kai, he has been your best friends since you were in middle school. He was the only person who knew about you and Yeonjun, but he didn’t really approved your relationship.

“Why do you keep making him lunch? Why can’t he make it himself?” Kai said while rolling his eyes. It was kind of a tradition of yours to make lunch for Yeonjun.

“Well, he likes it when I do it, plus I get to talk to him.”

“Talk to him? He merely says thank you!” He rolled his eyes and continued walking.

“We always talk after school, and he always says he loves it when I make him lunch.” You smiled at the thought of him giving you a kiss as a thank you.

“I still don’t understand why he doesn’t want to tell anyone of your relationship, is he ashamed or something?”

“Don’t say that Kai! Of course he isn’t ashamed, he just wants a little bit of more time.” Kai sighed and you both got to school.

You looked for Yeonjun at the dance room where he was practicing. When you reached the classroom you peered through a window and saw that Yeonjun was talking to Areum. She was a year above you and everyone knew she liked Yeonjun for a very long time. It made your heart hurt a little to see him with her.

You entered the classroom and catched Beomgyu’s attention. He walked towards you with a sweet smile.

“Hey ynnie!” He patted your head.

“Hello Beomgyu.” You smiled at him. Beomgyu was also a year above you, but you knew him since he tutored you before your chemistry exam. You did pass the exam.

“Are you here to see us practice?” He asked still smiling. He looked like a golden retriever, he was always so full of energy.

“Um, actually I wanted to talk to Yeonjun…” you looked behind his shoulder, and Yeonjun was already walking towards you.

“Hey kid, need something?” He said when he reached you.

“I brought you lunch, Yunjin and I baked some bread yesterday and I thought that you may like it.” You smiled handing him a small bag. He smiled shortly and ruffled your hair, he muttered a small ‘thank you’ and left to continue with his routine.

“Do you still have bread.” You heard Beomgyu,s voice.

You were in Yeonjun’s house. You told your parents you were going to Kai’s house to finish a project, but you didn’t.

You were laying in Yeonjun’s bed next to him. His head was on your chest and your hand played softly with his hair.

“Hey Jun” you whispered softly and he hummed in response. “When are we going to tell everyone we’re dating?” You felt him tense up and he looked up at you.

“Baby I already told you, we just need a bit more time okay?” You were ready to ask why when he leaned in pressing his lips against yours. “Trust me, please.” You nodded.

After a few hours you went back home. You locked yourself in your room and sat quietly in your bed. Without even noticing, tears started falling from your eyes. It hurt that Yeonjun wanted to keep it a secret. Deep down you knew he didn’t need time, you just didn’t want to accept it. You told yourself you can always stop. Oh but you would ruin yourself a million times for him. An he knew that

Months went by and you were still like this. Hiding, loving each other, and then wanting to stop. You gathered all your strength, and it cost you a lot, but you were finally going to do it. You were confronting Yeonjun.

You wore his favorite perfume, the one your sister gave you for your birthday, the one he had told you that will always remind him of you.

You told him to meet you at the same old parking lot you often saw each other after school. On your way there you thought about how painful it was going to be. You tried to ignore that feeling, but it was impossible, you really fell for him. You loved him. When you were with him you felt like you saw new colors, you could speak a different language that only you and him could understand. But all that had to end. Because you weren't going to tolerate being treated like that. Maybe he did love you, but why did it have to be in secret?

You saw him leaning against a wall, he was waiting for you and when he saw you he smiled and got closer to you with open arms, but when you didn't run to him and embrace him like you always did he changed his expression into a concerned one. "Baby what's wrong?"

You looked down and he grabbed your chin to make you look at him. You were already crying without even saying anything. "Jun, I'm sorry" you tried to hold back a sob.

"What do you mean?" you could actually see worry in his eyes. But that wouldn't stop you. So with a deep breath you managed to tell him.

"I can't do this anymore... I love you Yeonjun, i really do, but I can't be with someone who hurts me this much...I can't keep pretending that we're nothing, because it really hurts me. Keep pretending that you're just my sisters friend, that I mean nothing to you..."

He was also crying. His tears made their way down his cheeks, he really looked hurt. "Baby wh-" you didn't let him finish.

"Don't call me baby... look at how of an idiotic fool that you made me... I feel stupid now, I waited months for you, and nothing happened, Yeonjun. I don't know why you insisted on hiding our relationship. Where you embarrassed? Was I not enough?"

"Stop saying that!"

"Then tell me what was it!" You responded, your voice was louder this time. But he stayed silent. "Don't look for me. I don't want to see you again." You left.

Since meeting Choi Soobin, your mundane routine had been broken. Being with him made it feel like time was paused. You were allowed to stop thinking about all the work you could be doing. You'd do anything for the male without him asking to.

You and Soobin weren't dating; no, you were just “friends”. Friends that often hooked up with one another, but friends none the less. Typically, you weren't the type to sleep with someone multiple times, unless they were your lover, but you made an exception for Soobin.

A sudden weight was placed on your shoulder. You turned your head to look at Soobin, who had his eyes closed.

"I'm almost done cooking, some food should help,” you told the male, focusing on the sunny side eggs.

"No, I don't think I could stomach anything right now," Soobin groaned in response. "But I do know a way that you could help me with my hang over," he teased, watching as you transferred the last of the food onto the plate. He grabbed your hips, turning you toward him.

"Oh yeah? And how is that?" you teased back, settling your hands onto his waist. Your rubbed circles with your thumbs, and dipped into his boxers. Soobin leaned in, trapping you further against the counter with a smirk on his face. You giggled before pressing your lips to his.

Your heart was buzzing as the two of you laid on the couch. Soobin's fresh hickies stood out against his tan skin. You reached out with your finger, gently pressing onto one of the marks on his collarbone.

"Admiring your work?" the male's voice surprising you.

"And if I am?" you quirked back, staring into his eyes, challenging him.

"Then we might not leave this couch," Soobin replied despite beginning to sit up. "and as much as I would like to do that, I've got a party to prepare for."

"Man, that's such a shame,” you said, watching him pull up his boxers and search for the rest of his clothes. You stretched before joining Soobin in clothing yourself.

“Yeah, a real shame.” He eyed you up and down. "Stop by though. It'll be fun,” he continued, wiggling his eyebrows at you.

Soobin bitterly drank his drink as he watched Y/N interact with a brown-haired male from across the bar. He slammed the glass back onto the counter, not tearing his eyes away from the duo. Soobin hadn't talked with you since Halloween, which was around a month ago. He wasn't exactly sure what had the radio silence from Y/N, and he had become busy with his developing relationship with Moa. Soobin rolled his eyes, the mystery guy was obviously up to no good. And what kind of friend would Soobin be, if he didn't do anything. He downed the rest of his drink before another one; which he chugged as well and setting it onto a random table. He walked his way onto the dance floor, shoving past the crowd of people with his eyes focused on where Y/N was dancing with that bastard. "Y/N! It's been awhile!" he called out once he got close to the dancing pair. Soobin reached his hands out to grab at Y/N's arms, successfully pulling them away from the guy. And if the tall male internally smirked at that fact then no one needed to know. "Hi Soobin" they tried yelling over the music. "You stopped texting and responding to me!" he whined to them with a pout. Soobin knew that Y/N couldn't resist him sticking his lips out like that so he'd be driving off with them soon enough. "Yeah, I've been busy with work". He knew Y/N had to be lying. While he didn't know the extent of this type of job; was being a bartender really all that busy.? Soobin got pushed by someone in the crowd and he took the opportunity to further enter Y/N's space. He looked back in agitation partly from the action and partly from the bold-faced lie. "Are you okay?" Y/N asked, placing their hands onto the blonde's forearms. Soobin shook his head, pouting his lips out further, and adding an 'take me home' to sell the point. He couldn't help the teasing look in his eyes as the two friends had been in similar situations a few times before. Soobin would drink then Y/N would take him home and the two would spend the night together. "I can't. Where are your friends?" Y/N tried looking around the crowd on the dancefloor for his friends, who weren't there. Soobin just brushed the question off as he continued with his begging. It was odd to him that his tactic wasn't working. Before: Y/N and him would have out the bar door by now. They continued to deny each of his request to take him home even as they brought him back to the bar stools. ~ Soobin internally groaned as he saw the brown-hair male find him and Y/N at the bar. He gulped down the water that was handed to him before slumping onto the bar. Glaring at the shorter male as he talked with Y/N, the two of them acting like he wasn't sitting just some steps away. Soobin wondered how the guy had been able to find them, had he been waiting for them or had Y/N texted him. He was getting annoyed at how this night wasn't going according to his plans. ~ As Soobin was settled into the back of the taxi, he felt indignant. Y/N always took care of him, they always put him above everyone else, they always brought him back to one of their places. Who exactly was this bastard that Y/N didn't want to leave him for Soobin!? What the hell had changed in the month since Halloween!? Soobin huffed and crossed his arms as he fully sat up in the seat. He turned his head slight, only to catch the dark figure of two people hugging from the window. The sight managed to piss him off even more as he faced forward. "Pull over". "I'm sorry? What was that, Sir?" "Pull over. Or I punch the seats, the choice is yours?" Soobin said as he looked over at the driver. His eyes were cold as he stared at them, and his jaw seemed tense as he bounced his leg. The taxi stopped which allowed for the tall male to get out. He threw out a wad as he stepped outside before slamming the door. Soobin felt like he could barely hold back the anger that he was feeling as he walked back to the parking lot where his car was. He was not this development. Y/N was interested in him, Y/N was his, and Y/N was sure as hell not supposed to move on to someone else.

After arriving at school, Soobin scanned the lecture hall for his friends but soon realized he’d somehow arrived earlier than the two. Taking a seat Soobin’s eyes drift towards the large window, observing the blue sky as he recollected the conversation he’d had with his childhood friend.

He’s always been alone, ever since he was a kid Soobin was outcasted for his hobby. Scared of being bullied Soobin stuck to himself but Yeonjun always seemed to stick by Soobin. Although Yeonjun was the polar opposite of Soobin being a social butterfly and all, he still made an effort to make sure Soobin never felt alone.

Even so… now looking at the uni students around him as they chatted amongst their friends, Soobin felt lonely.

Maybe Yeonjun was right, Soobin can’t always expect Junnie to be there when Yeonjun has his own life. Maybe it was time to expand his tiny friend group.

Yet again friends don’t fall from the sky

“BEOMGYU!” A female voice broke through Soobin’s train of thought as he turned his head to see a girl stumbling towards him.

Losing her footing, she fell back hurdling towards the hard desk. “Y/n!” Another female voice yelled

Face scrunched up preparing for impact, Soobin was fast enough to place his hand on the edge of the desk preventing the girl from slamming her head against the table.

With a grunt, Soobin felt the pain of his hand being brutally sandwiched between a desk edge and a skull. “Oh my god Y/n! Are you okay?” A bunny-like girl quickly picked up her friend.

“Yeah I’m good” Soobin’s eyes followed as the girl turned around. Her e/c eye darts towards his now red hand to Soobin’s face “Quick thinking dude!! Thanks!” You said smiling at the dumbfounded man “I-I-I”

“Yeah seriously” an Aussie accent spoke

“Soobin right?” Another voice tuned in, Soobin looked and it was one of Yeonjun’s friends Taehyun… in fact, they all are Yeonjun’s friends well more like in the same social class

There was Taehyun, the super smart but actually cool guy

Beomgyu, a class clown type

Jake, the frat boy

Minji, the girl everyone guy wants to date

And the leader; Y/n, the golden girl. Between her look and personality there was nothing not to love.

“Soobin huh?” You spoke kindly as Soobin stared up at you speechless “well um…”

“My hero,” placing a hand on your hip your laugh but quickly stop spotting the redness building up on Soobin’s hand “Woah you took quite a hit!” Taking his hand into yours

“Duh with your hard head I’m surprised his hand isn’t broken” Beomgyu added earning a glare from you and smack on the head from Taehyun.

Switching your attention back to the flustered man who was checking out your shirt wondering if it’s supposed to be that revealing. Your soft smaller hands held his large hand ever so gently afraid of it being injured “does it hurt?” You asked

“N-No, not really” Soobin spoke eyes shifting between your doll like eyes and plush chest. Not really aware of this man checking out the color of your bra hardcore you send him a smile and gently dropped his hand “Thanks again Soobin,”

“That could’ve been really bad” you said laughing making his heart pick up ever so slightly.

“Are you sure you’re okay Y/n?” Jake asked following the group of friends to their unassigned ‘assigned’ seats. “Yeah but I’m surprised Gyu actually tried to kill me” you responded joining them

“I said I was sorry!” Beomgyu whined

Soobin looked at his hand as it slightly throbbed in pain only to envision your smile. His eyes dart up seeing your smile as you chatted with your friends.

Flabbergasted at what just happened replayed the scene over and over again in his head trying to comprehend it.

Yet at the end he only came up with one observation, THE Y/n spoke to him

The beautiful, charismatic y/n spoke to awkward ole Soobin

And also your skirt was really short evidently with your white panties showing peak out as you lean over to talk to Taehyun.
