watching the shakespeare game changer episode rn and look, as a massive shakespeare nerd, i like what the guys are doing but sam’s attempt at a shakespearean monologue is making me full body cringe why is it all rhyming in a play it wouldn’t rhyme unless it was the end of the scene it makes no sense

i think it makes sense from a game show perspective but from a real life perspective i wasnt a fan. a game most changed honestly wasnt one that i felt compelled to rewatch which is soooo sad bc the set was so gorg. at least u can rest assured that the contestants were thinking the same thing

I've been trying this thing for a while now—writing for only 15 minutes a day in the morning after I wake up. I think I'm on my second or third month of this, and looking back at all the pages I've written in that time makes me happy, but it also makes me a little sad because, "why didn't I do this earlier? I could have had so much more done if I'd started this tactic earlier. Even built to longer stretches or multiple sessions a day." But I didn't start it earlier, I started on a random week in the middle of Autumn 2024. And I'm proud that I did.

I'm in my mid-twenties, and statistically I know I'm still in the young part of my life, but I also know I'm the kind of person who doesn't think she will act until there is a fire lit under her feet. I mean, half the time I don't. With this gentle, daily practice, I can turn off my the part of my brain that ravages about not making anything with my life and also address the idea of gentle guidance. Encouraging self-support.

I haven't looked at how many pages I have written, or how many words, yet. And I don't plan to. Right now, I'm focused on getting the characters established, the ideas flowing, and the plot unstuck from my clamped jaws (so to speak). It is still rigid in most areas, but I am starting to see points where its thawing and the narrative underneath pokes out.

#it went well!! it was for stagecraft #i studied a lot but also started late but the study guide the prof gave me was Literally The Test. like some questjons were changed bc the #class didnt understand them on review day but other than that The Study Guide Was The Test #there was 1 question that i just couldnt fucking answer tho so rip me #then i got a churro waffle from a truck on campus that was lit #art history final tomorrow!!! the honors lounge will be giving out hot chocolate so mb i'll snag some of that #n e way niamh marie updates #why did i take all my stem gen eds in 1 sem im so stupid #its ok tho next sem im taking my last gen ed (that i can only take spring sem of my soph year) & then a bunch of classes im super excited #for!!! yayyyyy #ok NOW thats it for niamh marie updatss
