These two together form Crossheart, a renowned bounty hunter duo!

Pen doddles of Sanji, Ichiji and his other brothers and random au ideas that pop into my mind.

First page a Pokemon au. The more I learn about Sanji and his disaster family. The more it make me think the Eeveelution line is perfect for all the siblings. Think about it Eevee has unstable genes, can evolve into multiple types like how the Vinsmokes have cotton candy hair and kinda unstable given you know there asshat of a father used them like lab rats hmm 🤔. I picture Ichiji with Espeon and Sanji with Flareon because sun and flame, I love a good parallel. :3 also Reiju Sylveon, Niji Jolteon and Yonji Leafeon.

Second page I got this idea inspired by a post by https crepes-suzette-373 who had theory on the idea of Sanji possibly having Kitsune heritage in his family and it got my brain cooking up an idea. Did little bit of research on kitsune lore and found out some stronger types are white, gold or black which got me thinking Ichiji has a white theme going on in his design and Sanji has a black theme. So I thought what if Sora secretly a white kitsune and two of children turn out to have inherited her kitsune side.

That’s all I got so far but I like idea of perhaps Sanji thinking he only one with kitsune powers because Ichiji is hiding his kitsune side and In whole cake Sanji see a white fox and thinks of mother when it just Ichiji wondering about at night unbeknownst to Sanji. Why is Ichiji a white fox like his mum because I thought it be cute for him to take after his mum colours. Also I love parallels cannot forget that.

Okay, sanji will start tearing up how he excited to have a baby. He will none stop talking about the baby. He'll be buying some baby clothes.

He'll take care of you.you ask Chooper what gender is, the baby. It reveals that your baby is a girl, and you and sanji have to come up with names. But there is a problem. What is your daughter last name will be?

That made you and sanji worried cause if your daughter last name would be vinsmoke. She'll be side of the vinsmoke family, and if her last name will be addams, she'll be side of the addams family.

"How about sora?" You ask sanji, he didn't say a word, just kiss your cheek. "What about her last name?" Sanji asks. He is so desperate to know what his daughter last would be.

He is so inquiring that minds want to know. You thought for a moment, you got an idea, "How about her name will be vinsmoke addam sora?" You said.

That way, your daughter is part of you and sanji. When you gave birth to sora. she has blonde hair like sanji and blue eyes like sanji mother, white pale skin like yours.

The crew was excited to see the baby, but it was more than your family met sora. Let just say they were shocked, sora have genes of sanji and no addams genes.

Let just say your family want their grandchild to be like them. Like you know, your family and your cousins can be evil, witches, mystery, bad mood, hates.

And obsess like: poison, killing animals, absorbing dead things they find, sword fighting, bombs, killing each other. But sora isn't like them, she just being a happy girl.

Then uncle fester gave a present to sora, a bunny plush:

She loves it.

You told them it doesn't matter and they accept it, but as for the sanji family. Mmm... let say they kidnap your daughter and try to observe her if she has any ability.

And she did. She can make a loud shriek when she feels treated, and also, as a dark ability, that is really hard to explain when she gets older.

Sanji was so worried about his daughter. He didn't want her to be germa 66, and he didn't want to think about if sora had awakened her enhancements.

When the vinsmoke family meets sanji daughter, well... um. I don't know how to explain this. Sanji dad was surprise to meet his granddaughter. He wants his granddaughter to be a germa 66 member.

As for niji, ichiji, and yonji, well, they don't care about sora. But rejiu really cares about sora. She reminds her about her mother and likes the name.

If you are wondering how the vinsmoke family knows about your daughter? Well, they saw the newspapers about you and sanji having a baby. So... they were interesting about it.

So you and the straw hat came to the rescue to save sora, and you did. You check if she is okay, and she is. Sanji conversation his family about they aren't allowed to meet sora or try to kidnap her.

Well, his dad did, and his brothers didn't, but rejiu did. Judge gave your daughter a present, a germa 66 suit when she gets older.

Then sora got older, she could fight like sanji. And she as a bow tie like sylveon bow tie that can move around, and a pink outfit:

Oh yeah, sora is friends with mitsuri and luna, zoro, and luffy Daughters. Zoro and sanji fight, which one of their daughters is the prettier. (Oh, luffy daughter name is luna)

SSEC: Polar Opposites AU-

Here's Sora/[????]!

Here's what he used to look like until he was erased from existence:

Sora is SSEC: Polar Opposites Miku.

In terms of gender, he's basically an inverse of Miku: He was born as a female Eevee named Miku, and transitioned into a male Sylveon named Sora.

He used to be Dawn's best friend. After escaping the lab, he transferred himself into a PC to reunite with everyone. However, a Missingno had corrupted the PC, forcing everyone to get transferred to a different PC. Sora didn't make it in time, and was erased from the pages of history, as if he never existed.

However, out of sheer refusal and will, he prevented himself from disappearing forever. Unfortunately, no one except Dawn, Dusk, Harmony, and Melody remember who he is.

While he prevented himself from dying, he is no longer on the same mortal plane as everyone else. He has tried and failed repeatedly to return, as while he can return to the same mortal plane, his body heavily glitches and corrupts itself, putting Sora in a perpetual state of pain and horrible agony. The worst part is, due to his willpower and refusing to die, this makes him immortal. Yet, trying to return to the same plane of existence as everyone else will result in him staying alive, but in agonizing pain, to the point that staying for too long will destroy the very fabric of reality, which is the only thing that PERMANENTLY kills him. How does he know this? He can observe other planes of alternative existences. He's seen countless universes end.

In other words, he's a combination of Miku, Missingno., and W.D. Gaster.

kingdom hearts pokémon teams

been playing the scarvio dlc lately and of course i always have to connect everything to kingdom hearts so ive taken the chance to build the three trios + naminé's teams according to the types i assigned them! this will probably end up being lengthy so i'm putting this under a readmore. all teams made on pokémon team planner!

sora

i think sora definitely admires cool pokémon & other "cooler" types, but normal pokémon would appeal to him the most, speaking to how he feels about not being chosen for the keyblade / not being a particularly special person. he enjoys showing other trainers that normal type pokémon are still powerful and formidable foes. while sora loves battling he has a soft spot for cute pokémon!

as for specific pokémon: if it's not clear litleo is a reference to his kh2 pridelands form.. i couldn't resist putting in an alolan pokémon (trumbeak) and some flying types! as references to destiny islands & sora's name meaning "sky" respectively

also, most of his pokémon are brown and to be honest i just thought him looking a little like his pokémon team was really cute<3

riku

out of the destiny trio, riku is probably the most serious about battling & the strongest trainer. he wants to prove something to others and himself. (another mentally ill pokémon rival) i actually think in some kind of kh-pokémon crossover spinoff, riku and kairi could both work as rivals - riku being a more serious counterpart to kairi.

however, despite dark pokémon being his preferred type to fight with, his woobat stays on his team no matter what. it's his dear friend ! <3

on specific pokémon: probably obvious, but woobat is supposed to be komory bat! i picked alolan rattata because... mickey mouse... lol. his umbreon matches the rest of the destiny trio's eeveelutions ! i also made sure to include a ground type (riku means "land"!)

kairi

kairi would 100% gravitate towards the cutest pokémon, specializing in water & fairy types. but don't let that fool you into thinking she wouldn't love battling! not only does she take good care of her pokémon, but she trains them to be strong too. she doesn't like people thinking she or her pokémon are weak just because they're cute.

i thought fairy fit kairi's aesthetic well. like sora-sky, kairi means "sea", so i had to include water types too!

on specific pokémon: i was inspired to put tinkaton because of @rhythmmortis's tank kairi agenda. to keep the theme with the rest of the destiny trio, kairi has an eeveelution as well. i was torn between vaporeon & sylveon but decided vaporeon suited her personality best. i decided to include a kalosian pokémon to represent radiant garden - floette fit perfectly (it even looks like baby kairi!). like the rest of the destiny trio, kairi has an alolan pokémon (ribombee)

naminé

nami is a psychic/flying trainer! in COM, her psychic types would probably aid her in manipulating people's memories. i think she would gravitate to flying types more, though, because she resonates with them - naminé is trapped in castle oblivion like a bird in a cage.

because in this au the organization would have forced naminé to use her pokémon to battle & manipulate memories against her will, i don't think naminé partakes in battles often, if at all. her pokémon team are her friends and she treats them with the kindness she was denied in castle oblivion. she's especially insistent on not making her psychic pokémon use their powers if they don't want to.

on specific pokémon: this team was honestly so easy to put together, everything just fell in place... i picked hatterane because of its witch imagery, jirachi because of nami's lucky charm. i added swanna because i wanted a water type to connect her with kairi & her name (naminé means "wave"). i included espeon too to match with the destiny trio - when she replaces kairi in sora's memories, i imagine her espeon replaces kairi's vaporeon as well. also wouldn't it be so cute if nami and repliku had matching espeon and umbreon!

i wasn't sure if oricorio fit at first, but it's an alolan pokémon - she might not be from destiny islands, but she imagines herself growing up there, so i think it's fair for her to have an alolan pokémon

roxas

roxas is definitely super serious about battling pokémon and would 100% make defeating sora in battle his mission. he specializes in dark & electric types. i don't have a specific reason for these, i just think they fit him.

on specific pokémon: roxas and sora both have zigzagoons, but roxas' is galarian! i wanted them to have a similar pokémon like this, as in "two sides of the same coin". i had a similar idea with morpeko, since it has a hangry mode, focusing on the "dual" aspect of roxas' character. i named my pawmot in-game after roxas so i couldn't not add it to his team! it looks just like him<3

xion

like kairi, xion would love cute pokémon the most! however, she'd definitely be a more casual trainer, battling friends for fun but not taking it too seriously. she specializes in ice types & ghost types. the latter is because her existence as a replica & an erased memory post-days, while ice is from my personal headcanons.

on specific pokémon: honestly, i just picked mimikyu cuz it was cute at first, but then i realized how well it fits xion, as she was made to mimic sora's powers. so in a way, she and roxas are kind of matching. i chose vanillish for sea salt ice cream - xion totally seems like the type to have pokémon that have sentimental meaning to her. sandygast is because of xion's love for the beach and collecting seashells - i want to imagine that she caught it when the sea salt trio finally went to the beach together!<3 lastly, she has a water type on her team for similar reasons as naminé - to connect her with kairi and her name (shio meaning tide).

axel

while i think axel would enjoy battling, he is definitely focused on the aesthetics of his pokémon, though he'd never admit it. he's not the best at strategizing and only has attack moves. he thinks his pokémon are the awesomest ever

on specific pokémon: i like the idea that axel & saïx have matching armarouge & ceruledge. they've grown apart but still have their respective pokémons on their teams.

i wanted to give him a houndoom, but i didn't really want to repeat pokémon on this list... so i offer you a headcanon! when roxas firsts joins the organization, he has no pokémon, so axel gifts roxas his houndoom. <3

ventus

ventus is an aspiring trainer! most of his pokémon are low-leveled, because he's just starting out. he wants to become strong like aqua and terra. he specializes in grass types, because his favorite color is green, but i included some flying types to fit his name (ventus meaning wind).

i don't have as many headcanons for the wayfinder trio as i do the destiny & sea salt trios, so i apologize for this being a little bare... maybe ventus has a skitty waiting on him, just like chirithy!

aqua

aqua might be the most dedicated & serious trainer - she's very strategy-focused and uses type-matchups to her advantage. for obvious reasons, she's a water-type trainer, but most of her pokémon are dual-types, allowing her to protect her team against water type's weaknesses.

terra

terra is trying to become a strong trainer, though he's not as good at battle strategies as aqua is. he focused too much on offense, and sometimes that puts him in a bind. his pokemon are still pretty strong though!

I hate life! Note to self, Actually keep track of what I'd from who or get business cards or something because I just spent the last hour and a half(I alloted an hour[and then figured it would be faster so started 20 minutes late] for this entire process) just searching online for where I got what at the con(shout out to Peppermint Madi for putting a business card in the packaging). It would have been somewhat easier if I could find a labeled vendor map(which I saw at the con so I know it exists). Didn't help that I had to track down a few artists myself. There are still a few I don't know where I got them from. So let's start with those

Little 3d printed guys. One is clearly an axolotl and the other two I'm pretty sure are dragons. Cute regardless. The two who aren't the blur guy even have legs that can move and even stand up on.

Now again, don't remember for certain and my online search has brought up nothing but annoyance, but I distinctly remember that these 3 guys are all I got from there but weren't the $20 needed for a give away thing which I got at Peppermint Madi's stand but never filled bought for the other two. Thus it is likely they are from Layered 3D Prints or GEARXYZ though again, I couldn't find anything definitive

Next up, a little lothlorean pin. It was cool, sue me. Well made, looks fairly accurate.

And since it's a pin, got to tell you what the back is like. It's a little lever pin, like on those round button pins

You probably saw this little Izitsume sticker I the background of the last pic and figured I'd throw in a free cat sticker I got

Now these 2 I'm kinda annoyed I can't remember/find who I got them from because these are good tiny torchics. One a key chain, one a sticker.

I also got a print I can't recall from where but things with art on them like pins and stickers is one thing, but it feels wrong to share straight up prints like this.

But now we move onto things I know who I got it from starting with a tradition for me

I always get Chibitasm clippies(officially they are called badges) additionally I often try to get atleast one for someone else, this year I recalled my mom's favorite Pokemon was squirtle and my sister's was eevee so got them one each. And with the buy 4 get 5th one free thing I generally get them in batches of multiples of 5 so I got my favorite eeveelution(admittedly by default as a trans person since they are all pretty good but one basically being the flag gave it the preference points to beat out the others), my favorite Hazbin Hotel character, and my favorite Dungeon Meshi character.

No Game No Life, great series so long as you ignore the horniness(admittedly there is alot). And I really like Shiro and you can't just have one half of Blank so of course I had to get Sora, and the by 2 get a third free meant I had to get best girl Jebril(she's funny and kinda terrifying in an entertaining way)

I couldn't find a merchant store for Jade Gibson but here is an Instagram (I now have an account because the account wall was so frustrating during my search) and also a link to the print I do know where I got it from(I ethically can't post a picture but there is no ethical issue with linking their posting)

They are nice dinosaur stickers, I had to get them, especially when "send more tourists" made me laugh... followed by being informed that I buy 5 I'd get a sixth free(I told you it works very well on me)

Got them from M. BrookeS whose site can be found here and while there is a merch store, the stickers seem to be a con exclusive thing so I couldn't find the price

Alastor keychain has a different look on the other side.

Can't find Alastor specifically on Marachi Studio's portfolio , but the tassel is pretty identifiable. I would have admittedly gotten more at that booth but I had to atleast pretty to be being frugal.

Shinji

Definitely has a Blastoise who can Mega Evolve. Ever since he was a kid and it was a Squirtle, they dreamed of being firefighters.

He'd also have a strong fighting type like Machamp that could help lift debris from ruined buildings and a ground type like Rhyhorn that can pull heavy equipment.

He wouldn't really battle much, instead using his Pokémon for search and rescue operations.

Yuri

He'd have psychic types with space themes (Solrock, Lunatone, Cosmog, Elygem, etc.), and maybe a steel type like Klinklang since he's an inventor.

One of his lifelong dreams is to witness a Deoxys in the wild, which is the main reason why he does space training.

Would always be chivalrous to the Pokecenter nurses and never pass up a battle with a lady if she wishes to have one (even if he loses, he'll praise them).

Yuki

I think it's confirmed that he'd have a Charmander as a starter and evolve an Eevee into Flareon, so definitely lots of fire-types.

He's kinda average at battling, knowing general type strengths and weaknesses.

But he couldn't tell you what's super effective against poison even if his life depended on it.

Oh, and he's not great at setting up Pokémon stats, either. Every time he does, his team gets knocked out anyways.

Shinji keeps encouraging him to get a fighting-type and train with it.

Teruya

His father owned a shiny Klefki who kept the keys to his home, office, and the Otori Mart secured.

Since his passing, Teruya has kept Klefki under his care, having it safeguard security keys for the Kisaragi Foundation.

Had a Meowth and Cubone who helped him with the business, but after DRA's events the latter has evolved into Marowak (due to sympathizing with him over the traumatic losses he experienced and inspiring him to keep going).

Meowth stays the same but is very smart and helps him with financial department stuff.

Hibiki & Kanade

They'd have Pokémon that share themes of duality (ie Doduo and Scovillain) and music-themed ones like the Toxtricity variants or Loudred.

They're best known for hosting concerts where their Pokémon are band members, providing extra music or background vocals that get the audience pumped.

Funny enough, their individual Pokémon teams have natures that match their owners (ie Hibiki's being feisty).

Hibiki's dream is to catch a Meloetta but is forever jealous that Kanade claimed to have seen a shiny one in the wild but failed to catch it.

Hajime

A native to Alola who has a Machoke and Incineroar that both use Fightnium Z crystals in-battle.

As a Machop and Litten, they came to the hospital where he was sick and formed a close bond with him right away when everybody else abandoned him.

After being healed by Divine Luck, Hajime has trained with the duo ever since, winning lots of matches and making a name for himself across many regions.

He dreams of opening his own fighting-type gym.

Emma

Probably owns "cute" Pokémon that pack a punch, like Sylveon, Primarina, and Galarian Rapidash.

Also has a Ditto who helps her in the movie biz by transforming into a stunt double or an extra character if needed. It actually loves being a star alongside her.

Has definitely gone to Hoenn to participate in beauty contests.

Not crazy about battles but if you cross her, her team can and will destroy you.

Nikei

Would most likely be a Pokémon researcher, writing articles on mythical/legendary sightings and theories.

Wants to catch one himself but he feels ill-prepared for the journey.

I can see him owning some Fossil Pokémon (pre-gen 8), and normal types like Furret, Linoone, and Eevee.

If he had to choose a legendary to catch, he'd probably pick Wo-Chein since he learned it has the tablets of ruin, wondering how much history is recorded on it.

Hates Mikado for somehow getting an Ultra Beast and refusing to let him study it.

Iroha

She'd have a Smeargle 100%.

They've been childhood friends and the only Pokémon companion she's ever had, making art together and inspiring each other with their works.

She took a trip to Paldea in the summer, wanting to expand her team to prove she's not a weak trainer.

There, she caught a Tinkatuff and a Shroodle that became a sassy Grafaiai who likes to mess with Smeargle's artwork.

She doesn't have the heart to force them into any battles.

Mikado

Definitely has Meowscarada. It just makes sense.

I can also see him owning a Blacephalon, Murkrow, Delphox, and Alakazam to help him with crime performances.

He just taught all his Pokémon how to be petty thieves, stealing things from the audience when they least expect it.

Is still on the run from the Foundation, but his Pokémon are good at making getaways.

You would think he's a champion, but he doesn't really care to become one.

Kokoro

Owns psychic types who are in tune to people's natures/personalities and can make predictions, such as Indeedee, Espeon, Gardevoir, Xatu, Abra , and/or Hatenna.

Similar to Nikei, she's just a researcher. But she prefers studying the interactions between humans and Pokémon.

Is willing to battle, but only just to observe the kind of bond her opponent shares with their team.

Winning or losing is of no concern to her.

Sora

Owns a single Shiny Eevee who for some reason cannot evolve no matter the time of day, friendship level, or evolution stone given.

She believes that, like herself, it's just struggling to find its identity and purpose.

So the two just go on adventures together, seeking out legendary/mythical Pokémon.

Would probably have a Cinccino on her team as a friend for Eevee.

BONUS:

Utsuro

Would have a team of Pokémon deemed difficult to capture and ones that only evolve with high friendship, succeeding at both thanks to his luck.

Not only that, but his 'mons would have the perfect nature, stats, and IVs.

I can see him owning a Mewtwo, Lucario, Jirachi, Silvally, Clefable (who only knows Metronome, yet always gets the exact moves she needs to win the battle), and an Absol with the ability Super Luck.

He'd rise to the champion ranks really quick, but get bored of it just as fast and pawn it off to someone else.

Even shiny hunting becomes ridiculously easy for him, as he'd trade them away to people just because he can.

Hamefura Pokémon AU

This is an idea I have been working for a long while. It was inspired by @dulcito-on-ao3 ‘s fanfic Cute and Fluffy! and @logo-comics Fortune Lover Pokémon DLC prompt.

This crossover is an AU where Fortune Lover was an otome game/pókemon game fusion. Maybe something like Scarlet and Violet where the protagonist goes to the Academy and you can choose one of several storylines to follow. The events of FL 2 could be added to beef up the plot.

Here are some important notes:

Edit: @famousnintendopokemonlamp made a point that it’s odd for Eevee to only bond with mages. I changed that and made it so that they are just rare in the wild.

Edit 2: Switched Sandslash in Keith’s Team for Phanpy since I thought it fitted him better. Added Fidough to Maria’s Team.

Edit 3: Mary’s Tropius is a gift from Alan.

After discussing it with @dulcito-on-ao3 I decided that the setting will be modern but still retaining the noble society elements. Meaning that Sorcier is still a kingdom with nobility but they have access to modern technology like Pokédex’s, Rotom Phones, etc.

The Pokémon take the place of Magical Creatures. Normal animals still exist in this world because I don’t want the implication that humans eat Pokémon.

While Pokémon exist all over this world, they are most common in the Kingdom of Sorcier. Researchers think it’s because Sorcier has more magic than anywhere else so Pokémon are attracted to it - because they are Magical Creatures in this setting.

While magic is still mainly found on nobles, both nobles and commoners can become Pokémon Trainers. But, Pokémon Trained by mages are usually stronger than those Trained by non-mages, especially those Pokémon with typing that are compatible with their Trainer’s magic.

Mages whose Magic Element is compatible to a Pokémon typing can boost the power that Pokémon with their magic.

Eevee is a special Pokémon in Sorcier as they are very rare in the wild, so dedicated breeders exist. Even amongst nobles they are uncommon and are often a regarded as a symbol of great status, especially if they are evolved. The characters who have one are:

Katarina Claes - Shiny Eevee that later evolves into a Shiny Umbreon. Was a gift from her father.

Maria Campbell - regular Eevee that later evolves into an Espeon. By chance she found a wild Eevee and befriended it.

The Princes - Gerald (a small and fluffy Flareon); Alan (a Glaceon): Ian (an Espeon); Geoffrey (a large Vaporeon)

Selena Burke - shy Eevee wearing an Everstone but later gains confidence and evolves into a Sylveon.

Noelia Flores - a Flareon. One of her few evolved Pokémon.

Katarina’s Pokémon know about her past life and support her on her plans to avoid doom.

Katarina remembering her past life is part of a plan that the Legendary Pokémon Ho-oh and Celebi came up with.

Almost all of Katarina’s Pokémon are Shiny. The in-game explanation was to show how privileged and spoiled Villainess Katarina was by having a team consisting of rare Shiny Pokémon.

The Pokémon League equivalent is called The Pokémon Tourney. It was originally exclusive to nobles but for the last 100 years, commoners have been allowed to participate.

Trainers must be at least 15 years old to participate.

To qualify, they need to earn at least eight Honours (aka Badges) by battling against the Arena Champions, the ‘Gym Leaders’ of this setting (Arena Champion comes from Champion/Championne d'Arène, the French term used for Gym Leaders).

The Evil Team is called Team Dark. Members include Marchioness Dieke, Sora (later deserted), and Sarah. Team Dark seeks conquer Sorcier and use Pokémon to rule the world. Most members use Dark Type Pokémon.

This AU is GeoKata endgame, at least with how I’m writing it.

Here are the main Pokémon Teams of the main characters:

Katarina Claes

Shiny Eevee/Shiny Umbreon ♂ (Nickname: Biscuit) - starter/first Pokémon; he evolved into Umbreon after Katarina awakened from her Dark Magic coma.

Shiny Ekans/Shiny Arbok (Nickname: Noodle) - found it injured in her field and nursed to health; represents Katarina’s toy snakes.

Shiny Pumpkaboo/Shiny Gourgeist (Nickname: Pumpkin) - found in the woods near the Royal Villa; represents Katarina’s farming.

Shiny Pawniard/Shiny Bisharp (Nickname: Blue) - gifted by Gerald on her 16th birthday; represents Katarina’s sword fighting.

Poochyena (Nickname: Pochi) - found during the Keith’s Kidnapping equivalent event. This Poochyena has darker fur than a regular Poochyena, being almost black; it is the result of Team Dark’s experiments to empower Dark Type Pokémon; similar to a Shadow Pokémon but without “the door to it’s heart” closed. It represents Katarina’s Dark Magic and canon Pochi.

Absol (Nickname: Vanilla) - found during the equivalent of the mission where Sarah has a Dragon Dark Familiar; represents Katarina’s “knowledge of future events and desire to prevent her doom.

Other Pokémon Katarina has are: Shiny Galarian Yamask found in the ruins used for the practical exam; Shiny Flygon found as a Trapinch during a visit to the Adeth Duchy.

Gerald Stuart

Flareon ♀ (Nickname: Fluffy) - starterfirst Pokémon; smaller and fluffier than the average Flareon, making it extremely cute; knows Scary Face. Represent show Geordo looks like a handsome fairy tale prince but has a hidden, sadistic/scary side.

Bisharp - a knight Pokémon to protect royalty

Aegislash - in reference to Gerald using a sword

Charizard - I thought it would be cool if Gerald rode on this Pokémon.

Litleo - a birthday gift from Katarina; lions are a symbol of royalty

Tyrantrum - another royal Pokémon; red body with golden crest match Gerald's colors

Keith Claes

Tyranitar - starter; originally a Larvitar he befriended before being adopted by the Claes; small Pokémon that grows big and powerful, like how Keith was a timid kid that grew confident

Cottonee - Something small and cute because Keith is so precious

Golurk - a reference to Keith's Earth golems

Garchomp - caught as a Gible during a visit to the Adeth Duchy; a connection with Millidiana who has Dragon-Types

Bonsly/Sudowoodo  - another tiny cutie; it grows tall and lanky and looks like a Grass-Type, referencing how Keith helps Katarina with her farm

Phanpy/Donphan - yet another tiny cutie that grows into a powerful Pokémon

Mary Hunt

Lilligant - starter/first Pokémon; an elegant Pokémon and it even wears a flower on its head like Mary

Roserade - another elegant Pokémon

Vespiquen - because Mary is like a queen, plus it is good for her plants

Meganium - another good Pokémon to have in a garden since its breath can revive plants

Tropius - a gift from Alan. I just added this one because it grows fruit on its neck.

Serperior - another regal Pokémon; I think Mary would get a Snivy in response to Katarina getting her Ekans

Alan Stuart

Glaceon ♂ (Nickname: Gliss) - starter/first Pokémon; he chooses to evolve his Eevee into a Glaceon instead of a Vaporeon to stand out.

Gyarados - originally a Magikarp represents how Alan went from feeling inferior to Geordo to finding his strengths.

Lapras - it sings enchanting melodies.

Primarina - a birthday gift from Mary; another Pokémon that sings

Kricketune - another musical Pokémon

Shiny Tyrantrum - a royal Pokémon; the shiny is blue with a silver crest, so the colors match Alan.

Sophia Ascart

Gardevoir - starter/first Pokémon; it has red eyes like Sophia, and it's part Fairy-type representing Sophia’s dream of being a fairy.

Shiny Phantump - red-and-white colors

White Flower Flabebe - white color matches her hair

Togetic - white color; part Flying-type to match her Wind Magic

Clefairy - another fairy; people say this Pokemon came from the moon so it connects to Sophia being a reincarnation from “out of this [Sorcier] world”

Galarian Ponyta/Rapidash - it’s an unicorn! What kind of girl who loves stories wouldn’t want an Unicorn?

Nicol Ascart

Swanna - starter/first Pokémon - swans are beautiful but dangerous; Nicol is gorgeous, and I headcanon that you don't want to make him angry

Noctowl - represents how smart he is

Corviknight - dark plumage like how Nicol has dark hair

Chatot - ironic because Nicol is a quiet person

Liepard - in reference to the dream of being a cat

Shinx -  because Nicol dealing with an energetic kitty is funny

Maria Campbell

Sylveon ♀ (Nickname: Caramel) - starter/first Pokémon; wild Pokémon that bonded with her after she discovered her magic. Fairy-Type is the closest thing to Light. (It was originally an Espeon due to it being Umbreon’s counterpart).

Teddiursa (Nickname: Alexander) - meet during Keith’s Kidnapping equivalent event; represent canon Alexander

Audino - a Pokémon used by healers

Pikachu - Maria is the protagonist of FL, like how Ash is Pokémon's

Alcremie (Ruby Cream form) - represents Maria's baking skills; Ruby Cream form because pink is Maria’s color.

Fidough - another representation of Maria’s baking skills, this time bread instead of sweets.

Raphael Walt/Sirius Dieke

Shuppet (Nickname: Orion) - starter/first Pokémon; it was Sirius' Pokémon initially; it knows what happened and bonded with Raphael because it saw how sad and lonely he was. It absorbs negative emotions so it would try to help Raphael.

Phantump - may or may not be the original Sirius Dieke; has some unusual coloration: red leaves and gray eyes.

Sableye - A Dark/Ghost Type to match his Dark magic and how a vengeful spirit possesses him

Mismagius - the spirit of Raphael's mother; has unusual coloring: red accents and gray eyes

Polteageist (Antique Form) - represent his love of tea

Cofagrigus - Dark Mage that killed his mother reborn as this Pokémon

Bio about him🎀

He is an assistant to Konpēito Angel. They are gummy-ribbon mochi humanoids from the Heavenly Realm. They are very faithful to their friend and very agile, making them very speedy when attacking. They used hand candy-blade which would only appear when they sensed a threat. His ribbon can regrow when injured or needed in food. He is the brother of Gothika Gloomy Tart. His eyes turn deep maroon, signaling that you better write your will. Despite this, they are very protective and devoted to their master, and hate injustice and rude people.

Hirogaru Sky thoughts:

1) Shoutouts to the bird rider who drops Sora off but is like “I am not paid enough to stick around while the castle’s under attack, you’re on your own there lady.” That’s reasonable and we respect this.

2) Sora. She’s great. She fights even as a civilian. SHE’S BLUE. But aside from that fact, like that they made it clear even from the first episode that yeah, despite the fearless going forward stuff she is SCARED, and her notebook is clearly aspirational.

3) I also like the clear implication that her mom (or someone she looks up to at least) was the inspiration for her to be a hero per the OP, and then she’s clearly inspiring Mashiro to be heroic herself.

4) Speaking of the OP, the homage shots are a nice touch, and continue separating the team into the Sky + Prism, Wing + Butterfly duos. It definitely seems like we’ll be getting Wing and Butterfly later on, and honestly I’m cool with that it’ll be nice to have a duo for a bit. (Dare I hope for a shared transformation, or at least them sharing a bit in the opening there? Let them make a heart with their hands during the transformation, Toei. Let them hold hands. It’s been too long.)

5) I’m pretty sure we already knew Mashiro’s civilian look but seriously she just does not stop looking like a Sylveon gijinka, and I love this as a design aesthetic.

6) You know for another baby season... especially when IMO they didn’t really do anything particularly interesting with Kome-Kome’s transformations because she’d change them so quickly, cough cough... Ellee is pretty unintrusive despite spending the whole episode as a macguffin. Do appreciate that Sora straight-up does not seem to fully realize or care that this small child is a princess with magical powers. She is a hero, heroes rescue babies from being kidnapped.

7) “Oh, this is a dream. Nice to meet you dream girl!” is just cute. Surprised in a neutral way they didn’t go for the mutual crash into each other-head bonk, but I suppose that does seem more dangerous when the bonkees are all human. Not encouraging kids to headbutt each other and all that. Fair enough.

8) The transformation sequence. It’s so GOOD. The cape pull bit is particularly cool-looking, and I’m hoping that final bit with all the parts of the costume side-by-side is going to eventually be filled with each Cure the way Tropical Rouge did for the makeup calls. (Including the midseason Cure, since there are five of those.) In general too just the kinetic nature of it’s a delight. I always enjoy that.

9) And she seems to power down very quickly after the threat’s done, interesting. Wonder if it’s something about the power being exhausted or what.

10) The end sequence. Touched on it in the tags last post but that bit with them in the pages of the notebook in particular is really nice, and I’m admittedly more than a little disappointed that we change backdrops so often. It’s fun, though, the rainbow flying in from different angles at the end is nice, and seeing them in motion really does make details like Butterfly’s back bows pop a bit more.

OH ONE MORE THING I FORGOT: Kaboton’s genre-savviness is fun. I enjoy the “what kind of idiot stops because the people chasing him ask him to?” and calling Mashiro a side character... though of course, we know she’s not... and immediately deciding that yeah, if Sora’s a hero, that makes him her nemesis and so he will swear to come back and kill her even after he gets Ellee. If he leaves her around she’s a threat. In general the tone of this episode - and the fights in particular - seems a bit different from the last few seasons. They’re clearly mixing things up for the anniversary (BLUE LEAD! BOY CURE! YOUNG ADULT CURE!) so I wouldn’t be surprised if this IS a deliberate choice as well, but I admit I’ve also only seen a handful of seasons and most of them are recent, so it could easily just be me thinking this because I’ve only seen the last three in full. (Still need to finish a la Mode, I’ll get through it eventually.)

What made you decide on the pokemon the boys would have in each iteration? Hare and Kuro make sense with their themes but what about the other pokemon?

((Which pokemon a character should have has been a contingency in the fandom for a while, and everyone has their suggestions and theories. My justifications have always been based on three main motifs: color palette themes, lore connections, and character association.

In the previous iteration of this blog, I I focused a lot on their canon summons or connections- e.g. Sora had pokemon to represent Pooh, Ariel, Simba, Stitch, and then a few I just felt fit his personality and character and Riku had "dawn" based pokemon like Dusk Lycanroc, Noyvern, etc--For this one, I wanted to limit the amount of pokemon that each trainer had to more fit in with how Legends Arceus did things.

I had teased a meow-wow like pokemon (Scalean Variants, I call them) since Sword/Shield had just been released when the original blog was written, so I thought why not make a komory equivalent? I'm uncertain if I'll give any of the other characters additional pokemon-as it's a little time consuming and I forget they exist half the time LOL

Hare and Kuro were always the base-because Sun/Moon Light/Darkness- but what you'll notice is most of the others have Chirithy-like critters since that's all they have in KHUX. Otherwise it's based on thematic connections (like the Samurott for Eraqus and Xehanort getting a goat pokemon). AND SOMETIMES it's just cause I feel like it/think it would be cute-like Ephemer with Sylveon XD
