Wanted to draw something inspired by an anime opening, plus I also wanted to draw Grøh's Soul Charge.

Of course, I worked too hard on these 4 Grøhs to not also make a version with just himself.

I also decided to try Clip Studio Paint's timelapse tool again to get most of the progress (sorry I couldn't get the sketching phase).

Also, the wall was a bitch to add in considering the plan was to draw Grøh among it like a ghost or illusion to Kasta, but I also didn't want to destroy his details.

Once a lost and broken soul wandering a drift the Astral Chaos, Celeste returned to the plane of mortals to restore the shattered fragments of her soul.

Her connection to the Astral Chaos held the answers and the long lost memories of her passion for magic, the humanity and many people the Scholar of the Future has doomed with his misguided ambitions of progress.

With the aid of the Agent in Black, her soul was reforged and she herself ascended past her lost humanity during her duel with Azwel.

Now, as Azwel is no more, Celeste seeks to repair the damage caused by her father as well as to aid the lost souls in the Astral Chaos.

A couple of outfits to show her development over the years. As a teenager she wears lighter clothing because her fighting style based on speed so no clunky armor. As an adult she is a full warrior who wears armored gowns and relies on physical power. She's also more serious as events hardened her...but she also gained the wisdom to handle the darkness without being consumed by it.

i just downloaded the broken destiny emulator and im poking around it for the first time. someone tell me why this game has better customization options than other mainline soulcalibur games???

like this game lets me put the mens clothes on the women (im assuming it works vice versa too but i havent looked yet) AND it has really cool unique pieces i have not seen in soulcaliburs 4 5 or 6

Battles Beneath the Stars is a free serialized story disguised as a fantasy fighting game guide sent to your inbox and hosted on my substack, the Warthog Report. Inspired by fighting games like Soul Calibur, Smash Bros, and Guilty Gear.

A tournament is being held at The Grand Festival, a gathering of different peoples from across the fantastical world of Hybridis. There the fates of fourteen fighters collide. Featuring:

-Irresponsible gay dragon man living in the aftermath of his tragic love story who might get a chance to make things right.

-Dragon librarian woman with two husbands who doesn't like fighting and is just here to promote her new school, her moveset involves dropping chandeliers on people.

-Orcs, lizard people, cephalopod people, and sort of mole or pangolin like people. And humans.

I have an idea for a soul edge/calibur OC, Arusi. Story goes she travels across the world helping people affected by Soul Edge. She also wants to find out what happened to her childhood friend Siegfried after his disappearance. Her story teaches the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone, and how travel can help broaden one's perspective. Plus there aren't many african/black Soul calibur characters which kinda blows And yes black ppl did live in Europe during the 1500s so it's not inaccurate and I'm not doing any storylines based on slavery. Nope. Zilch. Nada.

As far as abilities go Arusi has elemental magic with water being her major one. However there are limits to that magic and certain wands and staffs can't handle certain elements. Since Sophitia has an angel/sky theme giving Arusi a water/mermaid theme could be a neat foil. I also based her alt suits on the top right on the tale of red riding hood. Bottom left is a "goddess" suit and bottom right is a alternate take if Arusi was controlled by Soul Edge.
