Zelda - Winged Deity Link

I bumped into my wing models and thought "why not?" and created this. Took longer than I anticipated but got there in the end!

so how long have you been using SourceFlimmaker and do you ever have any problems with it? 🤔💖

I've been using SFM for.. I think it's like 1 year and a few months.

Honestly, SFM is a glitchy mess sometimes XD I've had it crash in the middle of a project before (and it lost like 90% of the project).

Other than the glitches, the main problem is the lack of models / maps. If it isn't on the Workshop or available in GMOD, there's not much I can do. (And the SFM model websites are so dodgy these days)

But, this one is my own problem and not a glitch, I always struggle with lighting.  For some reason it only looks vaguely decent once I render the finished poster. 😅

But honestly choosing to learn SFM was probably one of the best choices I ever made. :)

Zelda - Civil Unrest

I often wondered when I look at the Hero Shade's armour... did Link, the Hero of Time, maybe became a Royal Guard or a General? Are there times the citizens of Hyrule will disagree with the Royals of Hyrule and become restless?

Zelda - Deity Descending

I always imagined the Fierce Deity Mask clinging onto its host's face (In this case Link's) and influencing them to fulfil their goals, just like Majora does with Skullkid.

I used MoCap to create this found on then Workshop which really helped. I might consider adding sound.

Zelda Animation Teaser

Linked Universe - Hero of Time

Inspired by ovegakart's comics I found their site thanks for the voice overs on YouTube and found the concept fascinating.

I gave Shade (aka Time) a goatee. Looking at his wolf's form, it actually has a little tuft of fur under the chin that I've always thought of as a goatee.

Zelda - She Demands Hugs

Inspired by a short on YouTube of a horse forcefully nudging their owner towards them for cuddles, and filiana's adorable artwork of Link and Epona. Its a pretty clunky animation as it's one of my earlier works and I was, and still am, learning animation :) Larger GIF found here

I was supposed to animate something cheerful but I ended up making him seem lonely and distant. Been a rough year. Least he has Navi beside him.

Zelda - Flourish

Got the models, got the Twilight Princess animations, got the time, got the motivation. The Forest Temple mini boss the Stalfos were always such a pain to beat in my youth. A stylish flourish would of been sweet. 

I find the latest Zelda titles have been drifting away from traditional sword combat to favour magic. Shame, as I do love duelling mean armoured monsters in an arena.

Had some time, inspiration and models to play with.

I remembered wondering if Hero's Shade (aka Hero of Time) was ever a general or just some Knight of the King's guard.

If evil things have their Undead/Skeleton armies, only fair good get theirs too. Right?

I never realized how cute young Link looked all sleepy. He's like how old? 7... 8? (According to some info he is in fact 12, he's one runt looking 12 year old then! XD )

Zelda - Redeads

'During Ganondorf's dark reign, many evil beings walked the earth, but none were as horrible as the ReDead. These skeletal creatures froze people who strayed too close with their paralyzing screams, then they sucked the life from the unfortunate victims.'

I admit the Ocarina of Time Redeads were not like this in the game. But a mixture of Wind Waker's Redeads with these guys would make them beyond terrifying. Have you ever heard a Redead from Wind Waker scream? If not, you are lucky.
