OK. i'm still not over effie's maturity and almost,,, indifference? idk what word but like about nina. one thing that's happened more than once in george's relationships is liking other people, jealousy, and related troubles. emily and george's romantic relationship fell apart because of one slightly hot guy throwing them off balance, and the nina-george-louise love triangle was a thing that Existed. when i think about it it comes up a lot, infidelity and jealousy, in the show like with the brackenreids and with murdoch and ogden and fuck even with watts. and then we have effie, who sees that her husband is a wreck over his burlesque dancer ex back in town and is so cool about it? it's so uncharacteristic for mm like this show is so weird about relationships this way so when someone's actually decent about it for once i notice it more? and it fits effie. really well. effie's logical but more importantly she's confident and after all they've been through together it's been proven to her time and time again that george loves her. of course she's chill about nina. she knows george is loveable. and she knows george loves her. i don't know. it's a very small thing but it made me. happy? they did good this time. good job?

NEW DIGITAL CIRCUS AU DROPPING...

lights, camera, action !! welcome to the TADC actor/musical au, titled "The Amazing Digital Circus: The Musical" or "The Amazing Digital Musical" !! :))

i recently got inspired by the amazing digital circus songs (namely: digital hallucination, jax toy, knock knock who cares, and jester, check em out !!) and thought: why not make a whole au based on this ?? I'll be talkin abt the main three and what they would look like costume wise under the cut. :))

(cosplay / middle image creds to komiko_cosplay (pomni), moisha.55 (ragatha), and jaxsin (jax) !!)

POMNI: very close to how komiko_cosplay does her rendition of pomni !! mildly medieval jester-esque with the collar and frills. the standard pomni fit, but, with stars as the yellow buttons too !! because why not, its silly. :))

essentially, her costume would be slightly fluffy and extravagant, holding true to her jester avatar in the digital realm.

RAGATHA: ragathas costume would be very patchwork-y, and extremely fluffy with the frills as well. only with this costume, of course, you have the raggedy ann(e) doll motifs. her colors are more periwinkle.

JAX: jax would be am interesting case, since these would be humans acting as the characters. the bunny-eared headband jaxsin uses for their jax would fit !! yellow eye contact lenses would look striking and AWESOME for him as well. he would wear a purple hoodie with pink overalls, giving the same feel for canon jaxs purple fur.

...overall, taking creative liberty with the costumes would be a HUGE part of playing them !! i will definitely draw the designs for these three soon, keep an eye out for em !! :DD

Hi there! I'm compiling a list of the Overwatch 2 written lore (intel database, communication logs) that's paywalled behind buying the missions. People on youtube are already uploading the videos/cutscenes, but I haven't seen anyone taking note of the database you encounter while entering the mission menu, so I'm working with my friend to try and get as much lore as we can! All of the files are legible, but some of them are lower quality than others. Can't be helped. I also don't have transcripts yet. Sorry. This file is still a work in progress as of 8/13/23: we're missing most hero entries and the NS entry for breachers. If you own the missions and are willing to help out with screenshots of your own completed hero entries, send them my way! I'll be sure to edit them together and add them to the drive.

If someone knows of anyone who has a completed collection, please let me know.

I've been finding myself at Spacecase Records a lot lately. The label is based in Austin, but they've got a pipeline to reissuing Los Angeles/early 80s punk - Happy Squid, Wednesday Week and Narrow Adventure. They've also released work from Robert Scott's Electric Blood project.

But they also release new music, and Positive Thinking's 7" contains two songs from this digital release ("Permanent" and "1 30"). It made me think of Deep Time and in some ways the sweet vocals of Barbara Manning and the aforementioned Wednesday Week.

Positive Thinking are based in Austin, Texas.
