can't wait to see choicenators bitching about how the survey had no effect for a year while completely forgetting the results of this are likely set to influence the next round of production.

My thoughts on the "Just Look My Way" music video...
I hate it. It's a Stolitz song that victimizes Stolas and demonizes Blitz for leaving him, again. Oh boo hoo poor UwU Stolas he just wants Blitz to know that he loves him, please feel bad for this poor owl boy 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺.
Ya no Stolas is an uninteresting POS sorry not sorry. The animation and music are nice though...aside from that ya sorry don't like it lol.

MITCHELL AKUTAGAWA EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!
#MITCHELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#///AND/// AKUTAGAWA EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Yosano and Kenji spotlight too. Episode written precisely for my personal liking#Too bad no Atsushi then it would have been perfect (╥﹏╥) At least we got his voice in the episdoe preview#Alright I **LOVE** Mitchell. This is not the space to talk about it properly but I just really like how flawed she is‚#but also in a way that results funny and endearing. And I love love love how much she cares about her family and is loyal to it!!!#It makes her so noble and virtuous. I know she has so little screentime but really the way she's so harsh and in apparence self-absorbed–#But in reality so kind and altruistic... The way her hearsh ways are implied to be only a consequence of a life of struggles and her will–#to save her family's name through a noble behavior and appearance too... It makes her so complex and multilayered imo#AND just how her innate tendency to defend people spans out of her family too!!!!#In my interpretation she did NOT care for Hawthorne or like him. But she still gave her life for him because she just instinctively–#protects the people around her. I don't have any strong feelings for haw/mitch but like how to blame Hawthorne I would have–#fallen for her right that istant too.#Now to Akutagawa. I'm really endeared by this episode because I'm pretty sure that's when I started sympathizing with / liking him :')#Like that's the moment when the things Dark Era showed us and the canon Akutagawa behavior click together and the watcher goes “Oh. OH.”#At least I'm pretty sure it was for me. It's bittersweet but especially sweet.#One more thing is... Wow bsd really has been like *that* since the beginning hasn't it. It's kinda silly to think back to all the criticism#the latest arc got now.#The criticism regarding how the ridiculously high stakes have been solved seemingly effortlessly in a way that resulted very anticlimatic??#That's ALWAYS been there. “Oh no the ada is done for if they found out our base!!” *holds literally ZERO consequences*#“Oh no the Guild is done for if they destruct Zelda!!” *holds literally ZERO consequences*#“Oh no the Guild knows were our clerk is!!” *holds near to ZERO consequences*#And#“Oh no Akutagawa died!” “Oh no half world population was tuned in vampires!” “Oh no Fukuchi obtained One Order!”#“Oh no Chuuya is a vampire siding against Dazai!”#It's really the same‚ isn't it?#But like‚ we're still glad all of it happened right? Because it makes the experience enjoyable lol.#It's really about enjoying the ride I suppose.#I have more to ramble about but I've ran out of tags so I'll be doing it on my main blog reblog later#random rambles

Everybody always talks about physical traits among other genetic stuff that you inherit from your parents but I never see people really mention the weird habits and quirks that you pick up from them. Reblog and put in the tags a niche interest, habit, or funny quirk that you picked up from one of your parents, I'm so curious :0
(and don't feel obligated to reblog if you have really negative relationships with your parents! this post is meant to be for fun, not to bring up any trauma)

I…
So I grew up watching The Simpsons. And maybe I shouldn’t have, but hey, it was the 90s and parent-sanctioned family time to watch a show that was definitely inappropriate for little-little kids.
Anyways.
I knew Phil Hartman, voice of Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz died in 1998, when I was seven. I knew he died and was sad about it. I missed his characters.
MOTHERFUCKER I WAS TODAY YEARS OLD—30-FUCKING-2 TO BE EXACT—WHEN I FOUND OUT, FROM A YOUTUBE THUMBNAIL, THAT HE WAS MURDERED. IN HIS SLEEP. BY AN EX-PARTNER.
WHAT THE FUCK

well i finished renegade. i sure was renegading all over the place
#it was alriiiight.... but man i hate to say it but i think i have more complaints than praises#i DID like florins new execution route and i liked talons deal. the entire end of night spell deal was horrifying and i loved it#i love that genre of horror like ''you die twice when you get forgotten after death''#so seeing it play out here was horrifying in a good way. talon and amber's deaths were both so fucking good like goddamn#they were just as heartbreaking as they needed to be. especially ambers like when you go talk to tesla after#but. man i dont think meta games are for me cause ngl i was sorta just like ''aight.'' to most of the meta here#like that was the one thing about talon i didnt care for. i thought ''everyone i know and love is going to die and god is screaming at me''#was a fine enough motivation to go crazy and become a rift. i thought it was compelling and tragic and a good thing to do#with a new character. but then he started going ''in older versions of the game i wasnt even there i was just a prop for the backstory''#and thats sorta when i started tuning out. like i cant explain why but i feel it made the scene more... cheap?#i think just cause personally ive seen that motivation a lot in meta games before and its gotten old to me#tbh the entire meta angle is whats really dragging this down to me. dont get me wrong i love eizen and his scenes#but i dont see why we have to canonize the game's update cycles as like a critical part of the world#and then theres m2 who i have mixed feelings on. cause i love the character type of ''ive been through so much shit idc anymore''#and they end up being kinda goofy and saying inappropriate/out of pocket things while trying not to discuss The Horrors#ive written more than one of those types of characters. but with m2 its like she doesnt know how to turn that off#like spacea and tiempa's deaths being a tera raid parody where they joke about being in a crashing plane and get bashed by extra melias#it just felt like. unfitting. (also a nitpick but goddamn that scene made my head hurt with how much the screen wobbled)#like really? this is the sendoff they get in the fucked up and evil route? and idk i just dont think m2 was all that funny.#she was more grating than anything tbh. and i just feel like her existence and the bad timeline is just Too Much#like there were already so many plotlines and arcs and do we Really need a new-ish character right before the climax#idk. im hoping v14 is more cohesive in this department#for now im taking a much needed break from this game lol

replaying da2 and brought aveline to night terrors for the first time and. WHAT was that reaction.
told my mage hawke to her face (on a friendship path. after she wasn’t even mad about the whole betrayal thing bc she’s still in her people-pleaser attitude at this point) that she was less opposed to the gallows bc she, personally, could not resist a demon and implied she didn’t think of mages as people?
and then when hawke asked if she should be locked up the answer was ‘i don’t know’? i can only imagine after hearing that she went and collected anders & merrill to go on some super important business that she desperately needed their help with a good ways outside of kirkwall and fell off the map for a few days at least because she’s an apostate from a family of apostates and that sort of sentence set off every ‘pack up and run‘ instinct she had.

the internet really fucked up with the sex positivity movement tbh like a great concept to be like hey don’t shame people for having sex and it turned into if you dare acknowledge that something is fucked up or harmful or dangerous, if you express discomfort with anything, then you’re a big dumb prude who should kill yourself

looking up video essays analysing the queer themes of persona 4 has been such an Experience. You will ping pong between white men condescending to u that there’s absolutely no way to read queer subtext (LET ALONE TEXT!) and tiny channels made by queer fans passionately explaining their readings of this game.

Not to bitch about other readings of fictional characters but it really frustrates when folks sand off the sharp edges of Morrigan’s worldview into solely social awkwardness.
Her sharp mocking of Alistair’s sentimentality isn’t just poor social skills, it’s a reflection of how Morrigan was taught to believe showing such open vulnerability makes you weak! To her it’s the equivalent of showing your soft animal belly to a hunter, and just as foolish to feel offended by the consequences of such an action.
She’ll openly call for the annulment of the Circle (with literal children present) to their faces because she’s disgusted by their submission to it, because she’s been taught to only believe in and respect self reliance, and anyone too weak to fight for this might as well lay down and accept their fate.
It’s not all she is of course; Morrigan is multifaceted and complex and deeply traumatised by her upbringing. A lot of her cruelty is an exercise in interacting with the world through the only lens she was taught, and experiencing the joys of trust and love truly does change her. But she can be mean, she can be cruel and I wish people didn’t feel the need to omit this when talking about her.

It’s international cat day and you’re a terrible tiefling running a secret underground polymorph ring.
Ficlet by @quinn-of-aebradore
Nicodranas is drizzly and windy and Marius is having a terrible, terrible day.
The person he’s been running odd jobs for disappeared, leaving him in need of employment again. Maybe he’ll ask Orly when he gets back with Fjord’s old food truck. They’re… friends.
Ahead of him, a gust of wind pulls a flyer from the side of a building. On instinct, he reaches out, catches it.
Jester’s Playground, it reads in playful letters. A real playground, for adults.
There’s one contact strip left.
Hm. He trusts Jester. Maybe this is the stress relief he needs now.
Marius pockets it.

I have no idea if "the talk" is as real or mortifying as it is in fiction because like hell were my parents ever going to do something like that. they have never even verbally expressed an emotion in my presence.

Okay so I watched Mad Max: Fury Road on the plane bc I was never going to take the time to track it down on my own but I was curious because you all seem to like it on here. So my new question is... why? Like it wasn’t awful and was probably pretty good by action movie standards (I don’t watch them) but like. It is 90% cars blowing up there is nothing happening, there were definitely good/interesting things about it but they weren’t.. developed.... at all..... like I feel like you could definitely make a great movie out of the concept but as it was it was 90% cars blowing up so there wasn’t really much happening.
