I finally caught up in deltarune and developed a spamtenna brainrot, god help us all

(I imagine that Spamton always got really tired in the working hours while partnering with Tenna, because of all the walking with his tiny loser toothpick legs, and one day Tennessee generously offered him to rest on his shoulders for a bit and BAM this fucka is napping there almost every day after that point bcuz he's tiny

It's just a hc I've had for a while now that Spamton's ad interruptions are considered a type of speech impediment in Cyberworld

Sometimes it refuses to let him say certain words and it frustrates him to no end.

As it applies to Spamtenna-

Tenna can tell what he means and tries to calm Spamton down when he gets frustrated.

Spamton feels like it can ruin important moments, but Tenna never minds.

I'm seeing Spamton slander in my feed when from, my understanding, Spamton -

didn't abandon Tenna.

Spamton WAS going to help Tenna and even signed a contract to help him. But there's no context (that I've seen) that he was hesitant to help Tenna out of greed.

If anything (my hc), the benefactor on the phone likely threatened Spamton with something. And if I recall - Tenna also got a call from someone when his game show with Kris and crew went to shit.

Neither of the phone calls sounded good and to me - both were being tricked and exploited.

Remember the lyrics in Big Shot? They're something along the lines of:

Whoever the benefactor is comes off as someone who's kind to a point. Benign until inconvenient to their greater goal.

Maybe this is copium on my part, but I want to believe that Spamton, while having had done horrible things post Big Shot era, isn't inherently a bad or maleveolemt person. At least not when he and Tenna were friends.
