If you haven't heard, I and a bunch of my friends (mostly from the official Sonic comic-making world) from the have put together a comic anthology sampling all of our original projects! The PDF is available for download on itch.io-- that's 70+ pages of comics of all shapes and sizes, for free! (although we'll happily take tips)

i know ive said wc isnt really a main interest for me but something I am very disproportionately angry about and think about often is how much of a waste of a prefix sparkpelt is. like spark was a great prefix and they just used the most generic suffix in the series with it. there was so much potential and they just threw it away.

excited to announce an all-new project from the IDW Sonic Comics Crew: sparkFLAME -- a black & white, Shonen Jump-flavored, comic book anthology featuring 11 all-new, original, 5-page stories created by the writers and artists of IDW Sonic! this project was started as a way of forcing all of us to develop and work on all of our original, non-Sonic concepts and ideas. all of us, on the book, love Sonic. but, we wanted to take this chance to really flex or comic booking muscles beyond just the blue hedgehog! more details to come, in the very near future! get hyped!

Details:

- Firestar has the same half-diamond facial marking as Bluestar! I wanted them to look related even though they aren't.

- I wanted Nightfang (p. Nightheart) to look like both his Mama and Papa! He has the same fur color + eye color as Larksong (plus the fangs), and similar hair, eye shape, and facial marking to Sparkflame (p. Sparkpelt).

- Lionblaze bares a similar appearance to Brambleclaw (the ears + eyebrows). This made Brambleclaw and Tigerclawstar think he was truly related to them. In reality he got the ears from like Ashfoot and eyebrows from Sandstorm.

- Biggest: Lionblaze, Brambleclaw, Sandstorm, and Alderheart

• Brambleclaw and Lionblaze are the same size, though Brambleclaw has really bad posture so he looks shorter.

• Sandstorm is 3rd biggest, and Alderheart is 4th. Sandstorm got those BIG WOMEN genes from her father Whitestorm (not her canonical father but let me cook. In this Au Whitestorm isn't Ashfur's dad so don't worry).

- Smallest: Firestar, Squrrielflight, Jayfeather, Nightfang.

• Squrrielflight & Jayfeather are around the same size.

• Firestar & Nightfang are literally the same height (an inch or two taller than Squrrielflight).

- Kind of just realized that, due to my changes, Nightfang and Frostdawn are like distantly related (Through Whitestorm being Sandstorm's dad + Reedwhisker (Whitestorm's like...uh grand nephew or smth. Canonically they're cousins once removed I think) being Frosdawn's grandfather). Yay. Okay, I think it's separated enough that it wouldn't be weird if you shipped them (which I don't, just wanted to say that).

Just look at this long ass family tree I just made. WILD

LIKE WHAT AM I DOING??? Firestar really fell in love w/ both of Redtail and Whitestorm's daughters. Why did I do this to myself :') (to be fair Sandstorm canonical used to be Redtail's daughter so that would make Spottedleaf her aunt. Since Red and Spotted are siblings canonically. Thank God they reconed that only for me to make it worse!!!).

Difference between Mini-Whirl(RBA Whirl) pre-incident and post-incident.

She has a Great Sword, adopted from her sire's inability to use it himself. She named it after a certain orange and white mentor that she knew once upon a time.

She's been travelling with her dad for a while, and only ends up meeting her fellow "rescuebot" acquaintances later on when the bots return to Earth. (same with wedge) Though, this Mini-Whirl has never touched Earth in her life...

After taking down Getaway, she adopts the name Sparklighter(Or Sparkflame). I love trauma. Erm... Kills him with a blunt object ‼️

Happy end, she eated him!

Oh yeah, she's a well bonded scraplet colony that's super good at disguise in this, and yes, Whirl knows (it's just Sparky from MTMTE)🗣️

EDIT: THIS IS 100% CRACKASSERY AND MIGHT BE MODIFIED IN THE FUTURE, but she does beat the shit out of Getaway, and she does travel at her pop's side! Okay bye

Can you do daisy x squrrielflight hypokits?

This is Lilystorm!

Lilystorm's name was partially inspired by her mother, and later on Squirrelstar gave her daughter the 'storm' suffix based on her fierce nature. She very closely resembles Daisy but has Squirrelflight's temperament, being very outgoing and spunky. Lilystorm is a demigirl, using she/they/it pronouns.

Just before Vision of Shadows, Squirrelflight announced her divorce with Brambleclaw, and that's when she and Daisy became mates. Later on, Daisy became pregnant with kits (not Squirrelflight because she is infertile, that wasn't a lie). Later on, Lilystorm, Aldertwig, and Sparkflame were born!

Lilystorm grew up kind of lost in ThunderClan, as she and their siblings were often compared to Firestar. Lilystorm didn't look much like her famed ancestor and felt left out, leading to her running away and joining the Kin.

Lilystorm had a rough time in the kin, as many of its members didn't trust her because she was a ThunderClan cat and she didn't make sense. After she fought in several battles, gaining scars and 'proving her loyalty,' she was accepted in.

I don't want to make the lore a whole book, so I'm shortening it now :') Lilystorm realizes hey the kin is bad, wth was I thinking, and manages to escape. She tells ThunderClan of their cruelty and comes up with a plan with her brother Aldertwig and Twigpaw. The plan works, Darktail is defeated, and she earns her warrior name from her mother. Lilystorm remains in ThunderClan from then on, and becomes deputy at some point.
