@justbluefish Hello Guy, this was the Rolex Service Delivery Note regarding my GMT-Master II 116719BLRO which was brand new on 23.08.2017 and after it was running up to +20 seconds a day fast (it shouldn’t have passed either COSC -4/+6 or @rolex Superlative Chronometer Rating -2/+2). I wore it for 6 weeks before returning it to the Authorised Dealer on 06.11.2017. It returned on 24.11.2017 with the ambiguous Executed Operations: Movement Correction Additional components A good AD female assistant there enquired for me what the ‘additional components’ were and was told a ‘weaker mainspring’ as it ‘slowed down movements with a high action’. They subsequently didn’t use ‘weaker mainspring’ but claimed they’d cleaned it and fitted the part, which I’d discovered from watching @thewatchestv ‘Don’t do this at home’ series dismantling famous iconic watches, where famous watchmaker Peter Speake-Marin @speakemarin took your Submariner Date 116610LN part, that the mainspring was at the base of the movement, so they’d completely gutted a brand new watch to do this i.e. a full 3-5 year service where it is dismantled; ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt and oiled replacing worn or damaged parts: https://youtu.be/TBPjnI2hnoc https://youtu.be/o0Dp-Q78Uhw .
