Medic stopped in the middle of the hall and spun around on his heel, a mildly confused look on his face. He hadn't realized he'd dropped part of his notes. He briefly looked down at the folder in his arms. Papers that had not already fallen out were ready to do so. He pushed them back into the folder and closed the distance between himself and the young woman to fetch the rest.

"Danke," he said. "I had not realized I vas leaving a paper trail behind me. Zhese damned folders are worthless."

Target practice was once again monotonous, despite his usual performance that went well. 

It was the same as always, shoot the cans, then pick them up, then do that again, or pelt baseballs at them with his sandman. But it was that for a good hour or so when off duty. As boring as it was, it probably did help in the long run.

On noticing the purple outfit, and the person wearing it, he almost dropped the gun he was holding as his heart sped up for a moment. 

Miss Pauling... shit... don't act like an idiot... don't say anything that could get you canned...ugh, higher-ups, never fun talking to them, she's probably thinking I'm just goofing off... or something... crap... just try not to say something just once...

"I, uh, Good Afternoon, Miss Pauling, ehe," he said, as he stepped over, and stopping at a reasonable distance, "Can I uh, um, ehehe, help you with something?"
