Peter had just been doing his normal patrol when Happy had alerted him to something EDITH and Karen’s systems had both picked up. It seemed alien as such so he had never really seen anything like it, but it was possibly and seemed to hint at being some kind of tear in time. 

Peter had made his way over to it where it was, luckily it was in a quietish corner of New York and while the tear didn’t seem to be anything more than a sparking energy right now, when he approached to investigate, it did seem to rip open. 

“Uh...Happy it’s not good...” 

He paused seeing something move, within the tear a puzzled look. 

“Wait...What?”

And here she thought that she’d be able to enjoy herself in peace for once, with the Titans out of town, and the Tower without lights on all evening. Surely this meant they hadn’t asked anyone to backup for them, and that should have meant that Blackfire was free to roam.

Should have.

But here she was, hearing the familiar (although not familiar by the voice) phrases of how she has to stop or be forced to stop. Her energy ceased, and she turned around, looking the female hero up and down for a moment before smiling.

“Aw. Let me guess. Trainee-hero ordered to sit out and take care of the minor threats while the Titans are away?” Not that there was any clue telling her if her soon-to-be-opponent was a full-on hero or just starting, to be honest, but where would the fun be if she didn’t start in a taunting manner? As long as she didn’t know the hero, it tended to be entertaining to treat them like a beginner. “Sorry to tell you, but this”, she pointed to herself, “is way out of your league.”

Shift, a new rising pro hero, strolled through the city streets. There wasn’t much in the way of big villains at the moment so he was simply helping people out when he could. Giving people directions, finding a lost item, fixing broken down vehicles with his powers. A heroes work wasn’t all just beating up bad guys, you had to make sure the people would always look to you in any situation that might arise.

“Alright, everything seems to be back in working order.” He smiles and pats the hood of the car, waving at the children in the back as it takes off.

“Alright,” He huffed and pulled a dense protein bar from his pocket to keep his energy reserves going, “What’s next?”

Her head bowed slightly. having sent Nikola out on patrol just in case, after all Alola was still unfamiliar. Having spotted the Pheromosa, she was quick to follow... But it looked like it was a dead-end.

Having not been attacked instantly like most of the other Beasts, her head bowed. ‘I apologise. Take care. There are still people hunting your kind.’

Roxas just wanted to get back home to his friends, but since everything his limited control on the darkness corridors had gotten even more out of hand. It certainly didn’t help that he was feeling emotional because he couldn’t get home. 

With a sigh he’s just going to slump down to the closest surface before he looks around to see her doesn’t recognise anything here. He’s taking a curious look around before he hears something, out of instinct he’s summoned both his keyblades and standing defensively.

7: Sitting alone, head down on a desk.

      “I just��ugh!”

      A faint thud as resin hits wood. She wanted nothing to do with Galaxy Toys right now, not after this. A doll like her could deal with the whispers — she’d heard plenty enough to grow numb to these rumors. But there were just some things that even Amber couldn’t stand. Especially when others were caught in the crossfire.

      “’Girls toy’ this, ‘boys toy’ that! Why can’t we be just toys?” Her arms and head practically splayed across the table. “Just… let children play with what they want. Why can’t a boy play with dolls!? I’ve never seen a mother upset over something so simple yet so, so idiotic.”

      Another huff, another thump. Parents were tiring. Being told what a doll could and couldn’t do by other dolls was equally exhausting. And seeing the occasional male plush and fashion doll get berated for being too ‘girly’? It made her joints stiffen with rage.
