Rounding up my favorite LIs from various dating sims and looking for patterns. Sad boys. Shy boys. Nerdy girls. Autism all around.
They are all better than whoever your favorite is. No arguments accepted.

Happy Pride Month: A queer game a day - 19th June SPEED DATING FOR GHOSTS
OH MY GODDD DID I MISS TWO DAYS! I am sorry!! Today I bring you a small delightful videogame called Speed Dating for Ghosts. You can find it on steam but I also think it should be on itch io.
This game is relatively short, and mainly revolves about a very unusual dating sim. You are dead, and are a ghost. In the afterlife you go to a speed dating party, where you can meet different ghosts, talk with them and then go on a final date with each of them.
This game is heartbreaking. The "dates" are romantic for some characters, but for other characters they are mainly moments where you explore the ghost's regrets, their feelings, some last thing they wanted to do. One of the dates is about a dog who died before his owner and is longing to be reunited.
This game is going to hit you in the feelings, I was in tears ten minutes in. The characters are so different, and in some cases you really feel like giving them a hug. I am tearing up just writing this, remembering some of the regrets and their stories.
I definitely recommend it in general, and I recommend it for pride month because there are multiple lgbtq characters (non binary, a lesbian love story, and in general the gender of your own protagonist is not given).
