SPN Coldest Hits Promos pt 2

Welp! I have just now realized that my timezone is Not In Fact GMT-7, so I suppose I have missed the cut off for promos in this month's @spncoldesthits challenge, but here are the banners I spent the last couple hours making anyway!

First up, @socially-awkward-chocobo's adorable Snippets in a Craft Store! Featuring Frisk from Undertale! If there is one thing you are for certain going to find in a pocket dimension between pages of the multiverse, it is tons and tons of yarn!

Next, we have the one, the only, the lovely lovely mod of SPNCH, @mayalaen! With their fic The Very Sinister Sewing Circle, we get to see a very different side to some of our favorite (not-so-)bad guys!

And last but not least! We have Purls are a Thief's Best Friend by @treefrogie84!! For Eliot from Leverage, crafting and knitting is no guilty pleasure, but the love he holds for his teammates might just take that title instead.

Ever heard of SPN Coldest Hits? It's a fun fic writing challenge that I tried out for the first time this month! The theme was Super Golden Natural Girls, and the fics are great fun. You should check them out!

First up is Traveled Down A Road (And Back Again) by @treefrogie84

Summary:

The girls have moved out of the house and her Mother-In-Law wants to move in. Sure. It's not like Jody needs to worry about Mildred getting into fights with werewolves.

(No werewolves were harmed in the making of this fic)

I adore Mildred, it's absolutely brilliant seeing her here. And Jody complaining about leprechauns made me giggle.

Next up we have Golden Dreams by @pherryt

Summary:

Dean had fallen asleep watching the Golden Girls, so that must be why he'd dreamed of them. Or... was he still dreaming? He's not really sure.

This is just fun, with poor confused Dean and an equally confused angel...who doesn't quite look like himself. (Maybe.)

(I also had to giggle that Pherryt and I kind of did the same thing re: Cas.... 😂)

lol I should just stop being surprised at how much the spn fandom never valued/liked my writing. I uploaded a fic from tumblr that I'd never posted on AO3 and still have 0 comments. I could have fucking won coldest hits so easy if I ever participated. So happy I moved on to writing for other fandoms because this honestly feels so fucking bad getting ignored.

It was a supposedly normal day in the bunker. Sam was reading a book for research purposes. Nothing unusual happened until all the sudden, Jack burst in singing as off-key and HORROR-ble as anyone could get, “DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW! ON A ONE HORSE OPEN SLEIGH! OVER THE FIELDS WE GO! LAUGHING ALL THE WAY! BELLS ON A BOB-TAIL RING! MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT! WHAT FUN IS IT TO RIDE AND SING A SLEIGHING SONG TONIGHT!”

Sam nearly jumped out of his skin as the nephilim sang like those groups on the streets who sing like they don’t know what harmony is. Jack stops and doesn’t notice the attempt of not cringing. “Hey Sam! Did my singing sound good?”

Forced out of his mouth, Sam lied, “Yeah. Sure. Just great.”

He seemed to buy it. “Okay! Thanks Sam!”

Crowley hides so they don’t know he’s alive. He also didn’t want to get asked if his singing was good.

Cass finds a way to not lie when he compares him to the bad street singers, “Yeah, it sounds good.”
