Cincinnati and Las Vegas are the latest cities to join Skye Brew on the Sprudge Map. The buzzy, high-design café concept launched by none other than Nutella heiress and entrepreneur Skye Ferrero currently has four locations in Miami, Los Angeles, Rhode Island and New York.

The Cincinnati location is set for a soft opening on April 29th, with a full grand opening planned for May 6th. Meanwhile, the Las Vegas location is currently in development, with sources close to the brand teasing, “something bold, experiential, and distinctly Skye with unique programming that will redefine the coffee shop experience.”

The expansion comes at a time when Ferrero’s family company, Ferrero SpA, is under scrutiny in the press, facing backlash over recent internal shakeups, abuse allegations and reformulation controversies. But while the legacy brand navigates public opinion, Skye Brew is thriving. The coffee shop has been earning praise for its sleek interiors, delicious seasonal menus, and a rapid growing social media presence that have gained a loyal following on both coasts.

Skye herself has remained largely silent about Ferrero’s issues, choosing instead to focus on growing her own ventures. “I’ve built something of my own,” she told a source recently. “And the momentum we’re seeing with Skye Brew is really nice. I’m just so proud that I didn’t allow expectations to stop me from reaching my goals.”

the first ever sketch of Liberty that i did

he's the main vocalist for his nu metal band Denoument (other two members Mel and Thatch made by my good friends @sprudge-monster and @theundiagnosable respectively) which has a small cult-following in Kwikfish Coast's underground culture liberty parties so hard, too hard even, so most of the spines on the left side of his head of just broken down and splintered

similarly fans of Denoument ALSO party hard. its hard to call what they do "moshing" and not "beating the fuck out each other on purpose or not" which leaves extra spines from urchins on the floor of whatever venue they're at. Liberty uses them to decorate his mask with when the old ones inevitably break off (fans like to paint them so they know which spines are theirs)

If you dare come at me about banning straws, I will throw you into the sun cannon. I’m disabled, I’m crippled, I need disposable plastic straws, and all those pricey ridiculous alternatives aren’t working as well. Plastic straws were invented for the disabled.

Way to shit all over a vital access need because you think straws are worse than corporate greed.

We all care about the turtles, the seals, the oceans, obviously. Notice how the easiest thing to yell about was something that would barely affect anything but appealed heavily to emotional discourse.

The disabled community is huge, and it can be joined by anyone. Most of those As Seen On TV products were invented for us. Society still mocks us and ignores us, and often outright harms us in multiple ways.

Communicate better. Listen better. But stop putting us out in the cold because you are inconvenienced by our simplest needs.

these are the first concepts for Harbor the lead singer of a boy band called 4Shore, the main idol band for Kwikfish Coast

i really wanted to try to nail a style the rest of the 4Shore members could follow (other members by good friends @sprudge-monster and @theundiagnosable once again) and the button up/coat/sneakers thing isn't what i ended up landing on in the reference im working on

some things i DID land on was that Kwikfish Coast's native pupils are gradiented, the idol pose resembles what we've seen before but posed differently, and Harbor's hair follows conflicting arcs

4Shore has a LOT of lore that i really want to try to express through visuals but im not entirely sure what i want to do for it yet...
