Waiting to clock in for work, but I was an hour early.

And I just wanted a latte from Luci. So did my unhinged group chat.

A friend of mine was being out of pocket. So she don’t get nothing.

I do other latte art patterns but for whatever reason people overwhelmingly prefer this one so it's kinda become my thing here. Sometimes I'll even have tourists come in and ask for "hearts" in their coffee because they've seen photos other people have posted. Kinda nice to be known for something even if it's just for latte art.

Coworker: Good morning, thanks for choosing [store]. What can I get for you today?

Customer: A lobotomy if you wouldn’t mind.

Me: *laughing so hard I had to walk away from the coworker so the customer wouldn’t hear me through the headset*

Customer: *continues talking about how she doesn’t want to think, and how it would be nice to have an empty mind*

Me, still laughing: What the fuck?

Boss: What is she talking about?

Customer: I think that’s all the drink I want, but if you can please give me a lobotomy I’ll give you a big tip.

Boss: Did she just ask for a body??

It is way too early for customers like this. I was not expecting any of that 😂
