The Sudarshan Chakra Talon Abraxas
The Sudarshan Chakra is regarded as one of the most potent weapons ever used in the celestial world. Sudarshan Chakra is derived from two words – su and darshan. It means auspicious (su) vision (darshan). Sudarshan means Divine Vision. If there is any other weapon that could rival the Sudarshan Chakra, it is Shiva's trident. Chakra is derived from chruhu, which denotes ‘movement’ and kruhu, which indicates ‘to do’.
The Sudarshan Chakra finds mention sometimes in the ancient Hindu Vedic texts of Rigveda, Yajurveda, and the Puranas. It is described as the ultimate weapon that can destroy an enemy - the asuras, rakshasas, and vikrutatma.
In the Dwapara Yuga, Shri Krishna received the Sudarshan Chakra from the Fire God, Agni. Sri Krishna was the eighth avatar of Vishnu. It was the mighty sage Parashurama, said to be the sixth avatar of Vishnu, who taught Sri Krishna to master the weapon.
There are some details about the Sudarshan Chakra about which some of us may not have the complete awareness. This powerful weapon has some incredible features. Listed below are five amazing features of the Sudarshan Chakra.
Five Unbelievable Features of the Sudarshan Chakra
1. The Sudarshan Chakra is considered one of the most powerful weapons ever used in the cosmic world. This divine discus is believed to have 108 notched edges and travels at incredible speed. The Chakra is stated to travel millions of Yojanas (1 Yojana= 8 kilometers) by the time we blink once. The Sudarshan Chakra is said to have millions of spikes in two rows moving in opposite directions that give it a serrated edge.
2. The Sudarshan Chakra is synonymous with Vishnu and sits on his right index finger. The sacred disc is believed to be very auspicious. The movement of the Sudarshan Chakra is such that it does not move by any action, like throwing the disc. The Chakra moves through sheer willpower, the first of its kind that can be controlled or powered by thought alone. The Sudarshan Chakra is said to possess immense spiritual and mystical powers. The sacred wheel is in constant motion, and it is said to have been created by the combined powers of the Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
3. The Sudarshan Chakra is powered by the mind and thought. Once it leaves the finger, there is no looking back. The Chakra goes after the enemy and chases them down. It will not return to the owner unless it has completed its task. The Sudarshan Chakra, once it leaves the finger, goes chasing the enemy down relentlessly and destroys them. There is no way to escape from its wrath. The only option is to stop running and surrender to the Chakra. Lord Vishnu, it is believed, comes to the rescue of those who surrender themselves to him.
4. Sri Krishna was in possession of the Sudarshan Chakra in the Dwapara Yuga. He is the eighth avatar of Vishnu and obtained this powerful weapon from the Fire God, Agni. It is believed that the Great Sage Parashurama taught Sri Krishna how to master the Sudarshan Chakra perfectly.
5. Mythology has it that Vishnu did not own the Sudarshan Chakra. The Devas (celestial beings) were being incessantly harassed by the Asuras (demons). The Devas approached Vishnu for help. He, in turn, approached Shiva as he was not sure he had complete power to defeat the asuras. He prayed to Shiva for thousands of years, and finally, Shiva, pleased with Vishnu's devotion, granted him the boon to defeat the Asuras and presented him the Sudarshan Chakra. Vishnu in all his avatars retains the Sudarshan Chakra on his right index finger.
The Sudarshan Chakra is a symbol of power and acts as a shield to destroy and negate any negative or evil forces that can cause suffering. A powerful quality of the Sudarshan Chakra is Papa Nashanam (destruction of sins). While there are many speculations about the origin of Sudarshan Chakra, Sudarshan is none other than Vishnu himself. He is called Sudarshan because he wields the mighty and indestructible Sudarshan Chakra.

Chakratirtha
Chakratirtha Chakratirtha Chakratirtha is one of the five pilgrimages of Shrikshetra. According to the autobiography of the temple, Markandeya, Shwetaganga, Mahodadhi, Indradyumna and Chakratirtha are known as Panchatirtha. Location-- It is located about 3 km northeast of the temple near the mouth of the Banki. The vast area from Netaji Subhas Bose Chowk to Pentakata is called Chakratirtha. It used to be a confluence of rivers and seas. The exact time has not been determined. According to various books, its history dates back to the Mahabharata. There are many historical and sights here. For example: Bedi Hanuman (Daria Mahabir), Mahalakshmi's father's house Chakranrsingh temple, Sunar Gaurang temple, etc. Legend-- The area is known as Chakratirtha due to Lord Vishnu's chakra. The stone wheel in the Chakratirtha temple is said to be a legend. An elephant was attacked by a crocodile while drinking water at the mouth of the river and took refuge in Lord Vishnu to escape. Lord Vishnu sent his beautiful wheel and rescued the elephant. According to other sources, after the destruction of the Yadu dynasty, Krishna for some reason ordered Sudarshan to behead his son Pradyumna. But Sudarshan Kamsari disappeared without returning to Lord Krishna's hands. During the Himalayan pilgrimage, the Pandavas found it and threw it into the air. The area has been called Chakratirtha ever since. It is believed that the blue wheel was blown away by a wind in Puri and fell on the Chakratirtha. In addition, there are descriptions of the continent. Chakratirtha Temple-- After a pond is buried here, a temple is being built and Shri Jagannath, Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra and Shri Sudarshan are being worshiped along with Chakranarayana. In the middle, a Narayan statue made of black granite is called Chakranarayana. There are three forms of Thakur Prabhu Narasimha, namely: Abhay Narasimha, Chakra Narasimha and Lakshmi Narasimha. Shri Balabhadra is worshiped as Abhay Narasimha, Goddess Subhadra is worshiped as Chakra Narasimha and Shri Gannath is worshiped as Lakshmi Narasimha. In the Puranas, the first three beings of creation are Thakur Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar, respectively, Chakra Narsingh, Lakshmi Narsingh and Abhay Narsingh. Every year, obedience comes from Lord Jagannath to Narsingh here. The birth anniversary of Narsingh is celebrated in this temple with great pomp. Balaram Das-- There is a tool temple of Balaram Das here. Humiliated during the procession, he built three chariots in the sand of the rest of the mouth and defeated the three Thakurs. As a memorial, there are sand chariots around the temple. The tomb of Balaram Das is also in a state of disrepair. Mahalakshmi's father's house-- This is Mahalakshmi's father's house. The eighth chapter of Srimad-Bhagavata describes the appearance of Lakshmi during the churning of the sea. Here is the temple of Lakshmi's father Barun. It is described as the father-in-law of the Lord. Daria Mahabir-- The river Mahavira (Bedhi Hanuman) temple is under the Shree Gannath Ballabh Math. The north-facing Hanuman has a mattress in his right hand and a bat in his left. It doesn't look like it's surrounded by clothes. On its south side are two small Hanuman idols, Jagmohan, Lakshmi, Savitri and Garuda in front of the Hanuman. On the left, the only idol of Shri Gannath is worshiped by Madhav and the octagonal ladugopala is worshiped at the feet. The glory of gold-- The real name of the Thakur of this temple is Shri Gaurakishore Jiu. Shri Gauragopal Jiu, built of octagonal metal, is worshiped here. Sree Gauranga's body is golden or golden in color. Since Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu belongs to the Vaishnava community, Gaudiya is worshiped in the Vaishnava Dharma tradition. The monastery has a flower tomb and a shrine of Srikishorananda.

Shri Krishna is the only person in the vast sky of spirituality who does not appear serious nor seem indifferent even after going to the ultimate depths and heights of religion, but is a person full of biographical power.
Sri Krishna's character has dance, song, love, dedication, humor, rasa, and the mindset to accept war as well, if needed.  The Great War is the epitome of defense of religion and truth.  There is no other person making history in the world with flute in one hand and Sudarshan Chakra in the other hand.
There is no prohibition in the character of Shri Krishna, there is a sense of accepting every moment of life, every substance, every event with totality.  If they love, they are completely immersed in it, if they are friends, then they are also fully loyal, and when they accept war, then there is complete acceptance.
 ...  Hail Radhe-Krishna ..

Dear readers, i am back with a new story
East godavari district in andhra pradesh is a land of an ancient river GANGA, which is made to flow over GOVU (cow) and got name GODAVARI. godavari is nothing but ganga flown on he body of a sacred cow. From lord rama to sai baba, most of the gods and saints resided on the shores of this holy river. there are many ancient temples on the banks of godavari. Pithapuram/pithikapuram/puruhuthikapuram is one of the greatest places resided on the banks of godavari. this is a unique place in india, where you can see almost all gods and goddeses in the temple are swayambhu. In one temple preimises, you can see swayambhu idols of SHIVA, SATI (shivas wife), VISHNU and DATTATREYA. Tell me will u find any place like this in this universe?. lord vishnus real footprints can be seen here.
there are 18 shaktipeethas in india and srilanka.they are called ashtadasa shaktipeethas, which are the ultimate worship places for female goddesses. in those 18 shakti peethas, 5 are present in south india, in those 3 are present in andhra itself.in those 3, 2 peethas were located in east godavari district itself. one in draksharama where daksha yagna started and other in puruhuthikapuram or pithapuram. i will tell why and where daksha yagna started and why sati committed suicide? in other story as it is very big.here i wrote only the story of pithapuram.
As a shakti peetha

puruhuthika devi
PITHAPURAM was earlier known as PEETHA PURAM OR PEETHIKAPURAM which means the place bearing the peetha (seat) sthan of goddess sati (first wife of shiva, later reincarnated as parvathy). According to Puranas it is said that after Daksha Yagna, Sati  has set herself in fire and killed herself. lord shiva cried a lot after seeing her wifes lifeless body. with lord shiva, the life of universe himself fell in such a sad stage, the universe began to fell. then lord vishnu tried to bring back shiva into normal state by destroying satis dead body. using his sudarshan chakra, he cut the body into 18 piecesand they became 18 shaktipeethas.
shiva with sati’s body
Sati Devi’s Organ (LOWER BACK/SEAT PORTION) HAS FALLEN IN THIS PLACE WHILE HER BODY WAS CARRIED BY LORD SHIVA. So it is called as PURUHOOTIKA PURAM later changed to PEETHIKAPURAM and finally PITHAPURAM. This place is considered as the 10TH SHAKTHI PEETHAM OF THE 18 (ASTHADASA) SHAKTHI PETTHAS. Shakti Peethas are divine shrines of Devi. These are shrines that are highly revered by Shaktas(Shaktism).
As a shaiva and vishnu kshetra
Three Places are called as sacred places to perform”PINDA PRADANAM” (last rights) of one’s loved ones performed here ensures salvation of their loved ones.
SHIRO GAYA: It is in Bihar. It is known as “Gaya”. Here lord Vishnu is worshipped in the form of Gadadhara even today. This is one of the 18 Shakthi peetas (MANGALYA GOURI) where Gayasur’s head is placed when he liked down for Yagna
NABI GAYA: This is in Orissa, near Bijapur railway station. It is known as NABHI GAYA KSHETRA. Lord Brahma is worshipped here. It is also one of the 18 Shakthi Peetams ( GIRIJADEVI) where the naval point of Gayasur is placed.
PADA GAYA: It is in Pithapuram, East Godavari district. Lord Siva is worshipped here and Shakthi peetam is Purihuthika Devi. It is famous for Pinda Pradanam to ancestors. Vishnu Pada, Gaya Pada shrines are also present here.
The story behind is that during the time of KRUTA YUGA there had been a demon called GAYASURA. He, did a heavy penance and sought a boon that whoever see him should attain salvation (Moksham). Since salvation is achieved through being righteous in one’s lifetime, people started obtaining it easily by seeing Gayasura. To prevent immoral people from attaining salvation Indra prayed Trimurthis (Lord Brahama, Vishnu and Shiva). Trimurthis has approached Gayasura as Brahmins.
Then they told Gayasura, that they are conducting to do a Pavithra Yagna, and they requested land from him. Gayasura happily accepted to give the land. And they told to Gayasura, each and every place on earth has bad incidents in it’s history, so its unfit for their sacred Yagna . Gayasura has asked them to solve this solution, and Trimurthees has told to Gayasura, your body will be the best place for Yagna! They supported their logic with the boon he got from Vishnu and his wish in giving salvation to everybody! And told that this can be considered as a pious challenge to him and that after the Yagna was over, he can continue to grow in height and give salvation freely to all the people. He has to face the sins of all people before giving salvation. He has to face many vighnas(obstacles) to fulfill his desire. They told that the capabilities of Gayasura can be pre-tested in helping this Yagna. Gayasura has accepted. That Yagna was conducted on the pious body for seven days. He developed his etheric-body with his power and slept on earth.
Lord Trimurtees has started the Yagna., he has bore the fire on his body. He was counting the days with the help of crowing of cocks in the early morning. He became frustrated that day by day, because of the fire but not moving his body for the word he gave. On the seventh day Lord Shiva took a form of the cock and crowed at midnight. Gayasura has Considering that it has the sign of morning and he woke up. Then the yagna was destroyed. Trimurthees has asked Gayasura, “if you couldn’t control for seven days how you will be willing to bear the sins of entire humanity for unlimited time by growing in size.” Gayasura has realized his mistake and he accepted his fault. Trimurthis has appeared before him and told that his body will be present as it is and the entire land will become sacred because of him only. He was granted Moksha too and blessed. He entered into samadhi and nirantara tapascharyam and stopped his asinine act of growing in size. Lord Vishnu punished him by stamping Gayasura with his feet into the Earth. As a result Lord Vishnu’s foot prints remained on earth.
