My SD prospect Frost came home and I think the meme is accurate to my feelings. This little dude doesn't even start anything related to task training for a hot minute and he's already impacted my life so much.
Like, he's just doing dog stuff, and I feel my mental health improving. I've got a lot of problems with being alone, like on my own for 4-6 hours and brain becomes awful.
He helps keep me busy, but not overwhelmed. I'm content knowing that even if he washes as an SD, my life has already been improved.
Anyway, thanks for joining on my sobbing rant. I love my dog and here's to the many pup filled years yet to come 🎉
oh actually while I'm thinking about it, does anyone happen to have standard poodle breeder recs from the UK? Friend of mine is just beginning a search for her first puppy, and it's always nice to get word-of-mouth opinions from folks in the area. She's got a couple of kids and they are already starting to get jazzed about the idea of playing games like doggy dancing with the future puppy and figuring out how to get involved in some basic sports together. They want to do stuff right, and as much as possible, I'd love to help.
My family’s dogs joining together to use their cuteness against us. all.
Before anyone accuses Rhea of stealing Isaac’s bed, forcing him to curl up a bed that’s obviously way too small for him, he did that all on his own. He chooses to curl up in her bed, even though we specifically got him the big bed, so he would stop stealing hers.
...Oh well, at least they’re getting along and adorable.

i love having a poodle so fucking much. he’s annoying as hell and never shuts up and has springs in his feet and his hair is a pain in the ass, but he’s so funny and sweet and genuinely a good boy down to his marrow. he’s fun and flashy in the show ring, driven enough for agility and barnhunt, and an amazing hiking dog. i’m so glad i brought him into my life.
You know it's been 2 years since I've posted on here? I'm alive, I'm doing... Better. Life was hard for a while and some days feel easier than before. But here are my kids, we're added to the pack.
Pandora, 6 years old, black standard poodle

Thalia, 3 years old, black and tan beagle/lab/pit
Rocher, 3 years old, tan beagle/lab/pit
Neon, 10 months old, black and white fox hound/lab
Some cute pictures of my puppy on his daily morning walk, the only difference was that it was snowing at the time, and since we live in Arizona, he’s not entirely sure what to make of it.
He’s seen snow before specifically in Arizona, but it happens maybe at most 3 times a year, so he never knows what to make of it. (2/26/23)
