hey i think you would love revolutionary girl utena. it will change your life.

its an anime and movie that brutally deconstructs the prince and princess ideals and how an unreachable ideal can break you. its also an excellant deconstruction of internalised misogyny and heteronormitivity. utena (an incredibly naive, honest and hypocritical jock) and anthy (i cannot describe anthy without spoiling the show and writing an essay but she is my favourite fictional character ever) are gay and the show is their struggle to understand what their relationship is and to see each other.

its tragic, its funny, its incredibly dark, sometimes soulcrushing and incredibly hopeful. and it is a show that is designed to be analysed meticulously. i would recommend researching a little more to understand what you're getting into. i havent described it that well.

also please read the trigger warnings. it does get very dark and disturbing. i dont want you to go in unprepared. it does treat all of its triggering material respectfully and it is there for a reason.

so, anyone who'd like to see a rewrite of the princess midnight sparkle saga?

i've been thinking about this for a while now. the idea is currently in it's beta stages but i have some ideas for the rewrite:

1) i'll be completely removing delta brony from the story and replacing him with starlight.

2) the mane six will be more relevant in the story, since i was pretty disappointed that they barely did anything in the original.

3) midnight will have more time to shine in equestria. i think that it'd be more interesting if she'd cause havoc there first before going to the human world.

4) i'm making the reasons as to why the spectrometer/amulet is in equestria and how it got it's new abilities ambiguous. fuck this princess dark matter shit LET THERE BE SOME MYSTERY IN THIS BITCH.
