I feel like this makes a lot of sense for me to write, cause I've written about how Gojo decides to propose and also about said proposal before.

I really hope you like it, I know it's a bit all over the place, I'm having a bad ADD day.

Firstly, the only song that popped up in my head upon reading your message was la vie en rose, cause I don't really listen to love songs that are actually happy. It is a beautiful song, a classic may I say so and I feel like it would fit the old money vibe/aesthetic Gojo radiates, in my opinion.

Before his wedding, Gojo has a completely different picture on how things actually go. He has never attended a wedding in his life, it's not an everyday thing among sorcerers and even if it was, he couldn't care less about going to one. So he believes he is the one supposed to walk down the isle, that people are supposed to stand up for him as he walks in and he genuinely expects the crowd to shed tears as he enters wearing his custom made, expensive suit. However, that train of thought is quickly dismissed by Nanami, just a few minutes before the wedding.

He stand kind of disappointed at the end of the isle, muttering things like "he's not appreciated enough" and "no one actually complimented him on his suit yet" but then he spots you and he falls in love all over again. Not because of the dress you're wearing or your make-up that has been done professionally, but because of your smile, the happiness you radiate and warm glint in your eyes. He quickly understands why the bride is supposed to walk down the isle and why that's a big moment in movies portraying such situations. Suddenly, he regrets opting for a small wedding, with only the closest people to you two present, because he wants the whole world to see how perfect you are in that moment and how you will become his forever in mere minutes. He cries too and his students are dying from laughter, the strongest has been rendered soft in an instant.

You decided a long time ago that you wanted to write your own wows and you laugh with tearful eyes as he fishes out a wrinkled paper that has Tom and Jerry printed on the back from the pocket of his dress pants. He explains that he thought about his wows during one of his missions and that was the only piece of paper he could find at that moment.

After the wedding, during the reception he stuffs himself with the delicious food you picked out, when the two of you started organising the whole ordeal he made it clear that he didn't care about the food at all, he trusts your judgement, but the cake must be his duty and oh boy does he go out with the cake. It's massive, decorated nicely with the cliche marzipan figurines of the two of you on top. Nonetheless, it's delicious and you're glad you let him fulfil the dessert duty.

Gojo's mother put him through dance lessons when he was a child, claiming that the heir of the Gojo clan must know basic dances, considering how many formal events he will have to attend in the future. That makes your first dance even more magical, his posture is perfect and he guides you through the steps flawlessly. He keeps you closer to his chest than he's supposed to though, which you don't mind, because he keeps whispering into your ear about how much he loves and cherishes you.

"I love you, Mrs. Gojo!" he says as the song is over, more loudly than before "Hehe, you're Mrs. Gojo now, that's hilarious. You gotta change your sorcerer ID after this. Good luck with that, those idiot higher ups are slower than sloths."

I have not.  I usually don’t play board games or cards with my family.  it’s complicated.

ah recently someone asked if I needed a cough drop at work because apparently i was coughing too much, but it was asked in a passive aggressive manner.  I politely said no and chugged water all day to combat my allergies and the years of family members all carelessly smoking around me since birth.  :))

5) how do you feel about the cats vs dogs debate? do you prefer cats or dogs?

i love both, both have very good points.  i wish i had both, but my cat died last year :(

i wished to be an elf, i had dreams that I was a changeling left for humans to care for until i was old enough to return.  i also wished i was a mermaid or selkie, to swim away forever to live in the sea

some i like, some i don’t.  but i like abstract art with beautiful colors, that convey emotions

8)  when you walk into the candle isle at target or wherever, what scent do you look for first?

well FIRST, i look to see if they have Mountain Lodge, so I can smell the boyfriend candle.  Then i start looking for and smelling candles that make me happy:  cotton candy, sugar cookies, fresh linens, really good christmas or autumn candles that remind you of the best parts of the holidays, sometimes beach candles to see if they truly remind me of the beaches i’ve been too or if they’re just cheap candles

9) do you actually lick the tootsie roll pop, or do you just bight through to that chewie center?

i do lick the tootsie roll pop down, only because I like the lollipop better than the tootsie roll center.  I actually hate the tootsie roll center and will throw away the lollipop once i get to it.

10) what color predominates in your interior decorating scheme?

i like warm inviting cosy colors.  like someday i’d like a soft buttercream yellow kitchen with white cabinets and a bathroom that’s a soft green or blue - relaxing and calm.  my room is currently a soft peach color with pomegranate colored curtains, but when I move I might see how other colors might go.  the goal though is always inviting cosy, like country cottage feel idk

Tips on NYU Film and TV Application

Hey guys:

So I’ve recently felt convicted to start living less selfishly. Which is really hard because 99.9999999999999999999999999999% of my thoughts are about myself. And if I think a thought about someone else, guaranteed the next thought will be about how i can do something about it. I mean, I never act on it, but I think about it.

So consider this post to be my *charity work*

Just kidding, it is quite possible that this differently won’t help out ANYONE, but when I was applying to NYU Film, I know I would have liked to have a little spirit guide helping me through that BITCH of an application.

Because let’s face it, that app is THICCC.

So let’s get into it, shall we?

Ok, so if you go onto NYU Undergraduate Film and TV admissions which I link here, we see there are two major parts: Common App and Creative Portfolio. I ain’t going to go into the Common App because everyone and there mom has gone over that and there are a LOT of awesome resources for that. Also, something to note is that NYU Tisch is a test optional school, meaning they do not require you to submit SAT or ACT scores (!!!) This is AWESOME because the SAT/ACTS suck A$$ and don’t actually assess intelligences accurately as they only test three out of the nine intelligences Howard Garner describes! Making the education system keep on dis-enabiling the youth so we don’t ever believe in ourselves or take risks so we can become good workers in the post-industrial revolution society! (Thank you for listening to my quick rant, we are back).

So we are going back to the Creative Portfolio.

Part I: Creative Resume

The first part is the “creative resume” where you need to highlight all of your “artistic and creative endeavors.” Now, don’t let this scare you. I barely did ANY film stuff when I applied to NYU. All I did was a boom op on a student film (I was an external transfer, so it was easy for get access to these opportunities. If you are in high school, it might be harder, but if you are interested, maybe your high school might have a video program? idk man) and I made my film for NYU. Not a whole lot to put on a resume. BUT what I did put down was any other “artistic” things I did. I was a harpist, so I put that down. I did some community service and also any activities I did in high school.

Your resume does not have to be super fancy and can just be in a boring, resume format. Even if you think you do not have any “artistic” or “creative” achievements, flip some things you did like they were creative. Were you the appointed banner artist on your soccer team? Awesome. Do you have a passion for web design? That’s lit af fam. Get wiggy with it.

Part II: Leadership and Collaboration Anecdote

The next part is the Leadership and Collaboration Anecdote. Now one of there bullet points is “We're interested in both your insights into these issues and your ability to tell an engaging short story.” This is key. This essay is not so much as to your leadership abilities necessarily, but if you can tell a story. Being able to tell a story is paramount to filmmaking. I can’t emphasis this enough. Story really separates the boys from the men in the filmmaking world (sorry for the sexists af term but this is HOLLYWOOD BABY BOYZZZ CLUB).

So what is story? This is a bit complex question to answer, but essentially make sure there is a beginning, middle, and end. Have a clear theme and defining characteristics. This essay is only 300 words, so don’t feel like you need to put every detail in, but make sure you work through it.

Part III: Personal Story

Once again, they are looking for your talents as a story teller. Also, they included a very poignant part, which is “please do not write about why or what led you to pursue a degree in film and television production.”

Yes. YES. YES. DON’T TALK ABOUT FILM OR FILMMAKING DIRECTLY. Film and television are not your life, but it is the lens by which you assess, question, contemplate, and reflect life. You are such much more than what you do. This even goes back to a larger point beyond just composing this essay. Please for the love of God, follow other interests besides film. Film is lovely and I am SO thankful for it, but I have met so many people that film is all their life and that is all they talk about. It is vapid and wasteful to only be interested in film.

So you might be wondering: “What event do I choose!?” Unfortunately, I can’t tell you. Ask people who know you. Brainstorm. Reflect. It you are a storyteller, it will come to you.

Part IV: Artistic Influence Essay

This is probably the easiest out of all of them because if you are interested in film and television, you probably really like film and tv. However, I would say also tie your influence back to yourself and your own style.

Part V: Creative Submission

The Daddy of the NYU Film and TV application.

So here is the tea sis: your application film is probably not going to be good. It’s your first one. It ain’t going to win and Oscar. However, obviously this does not mean its a throw away part of the application. I just knew I was SO nervous about this when I applied, but in the grand scheme of my filmmaking career, it is a speck.

So as you can tell, I did the short film as my creative submission, but there are multiple options for you. I would suggest to do which ever one you have the resources to do and also feel most confident in. For example, if you have a flip phone, I would probably not recommend shooting a short film. However, do not get discouraged if you don’t have all the “best” technical equipment. There really should not be any barriers to apply. If you have no resources, the writing option is a perfectly valid.

Some things I would keep in mind is story and also showcasing your voice. What makes you different? What type of filmmaker/storyteller do you want to be? This is your time to shine! If you are totally lost, ask those who know you best!

What’s in a name (pt. 2)

Bucky x Reader

Warnings: swearing, alcohol, idk anything else someone might not like

This is an OC series I’m working on. I’ve connected it with the X-Men stuff and it takes place after Civil War, but it all works out.

E stood in front of her mirror in her room the X-Men mansion. Dresses scattered on top of her bed made up her discarded pile. Beside that pile, sat Jubilee scrolling on her phone. She was called in to help E find a dress for the party and auction tonight at the Plaza Hotel.

“What about the shimmery orange colored one? Put that with some nude heels and you’re set.” Her gummed snapped as she asked.

“Nah I wore that a while ago, plus I think Meghan (Pixie) wants to borrow it for a date. The open back is good with her wings. I don’t know.. I want the right dress! I haven’t gone to a function with the Avengers in a long time. Hell, none of us have in eons! I wanna look good.” She huffed as she pushed back some silver hairs from her face. “Juju bee what about the dark green one? I’d put it with my black corset heels and some gold accessories?” She turned to face her friend on the bed and looked at her with a questioning expression.

“You look good in anything! Ugh you could have a feed bag on your head and be a goddess.” She huffed while dramatically dropping her arms on the bed. Then she calmed down and gave a serious reply. “The green would look good. You managed to get a date with James Proudstar with it.”

E titled her head to the side and slightly nodded in agreement. She smirked and said, “You’re not wrong. And those were a few good months of dating him. Til he left me for Blink. I can’t even get annoyed or upset because they are so sweet. Plus, it wasn’t going to go anywhere.. Anyway! So green it is. Hair up or down?” The friend replied up and went back to her phone.

“Any other reason you want to look so good tonight? Finally going to let Sam Wilson think he has a chance with you?” She stayed to keep her friend company while she got ready for the event tonight, but couldn’t help but tease her a little bit.

Blushing, but rolling her eyes, E played defense. “No, no reason at all. I just want to look good. That a crime?” She played back, but her mind flashed to a certain someone. “It’s nice to be noticed.”

“I’m not saying it isn’t, but the Avengers are hot and we don’t see them all the time like the guys here. Not to mention, you need to get some.”

“Says who?” She gives you a look and a snap of her gum. “Fine maybe I do, but as much fun as a hook up is, I’m looking for a more secure, long term type thing here.”

“Well if you want that, then a bolder eye look; and straighten your hair. Really get someone’s attention tonight. But then it’ll be the ones who aren’t intimidated by you.” The pyrotechnic mutant grabbed the silver-haired woman’s shoulders and put her chin on her head while twirling a few hairs.

*fast forward to the evening*

Music and chatter swelled as guests mingled around the Plaza’s grand hall. E found herself at the base of the stairs, talking with some political head honchos. She was three cosmos in and only feeling herself being barely buzzed enough to deal with them. Some of them were still condescending towards mutants, despite the fact that they’ve saved the world’s ass more than a few times. She was here to have a good time and not to listen to people drone about the real world, let alone politics.

“You know what gentlemen, lady, I have to… walk away now.” She stepped away leaving stunned high-powered figures. As she approached the bar again she heard Tony laughing.

“Those people will be pissed at me now because of that.”

E rolled her eyes, “Please, they barely like me anyway. Plus I’m sure one of them will drop a fat and impressive number and win something at the auction. That and the drinks will help them forget all about it.” She turned to the bartender and ordered a shot of silver tequila and another cosmo. “Thanks for the open bar by the way. Want a shot?”

“I’m good. Thanks though, and I know it takes more than the average amount of booze to get you toasted but umm any reason you ordered a shot at a charity auction?” He wasn’t judging, but genuinely curious.

“Oh you know, having one for Wade. Plus I’m preparing for Sam’s next pass at me.” She smiled at the man in front of her with the rose-colored glasses. “Now if you excuse me, I am going to go mingle and find a cute man to dance with.” She strutted away to scope out everyone present, starting with the auction tables. That way she could made a bid or two in the meantime.

While E was conversing with Tony, others were having their own fun. Off to the other side of the bar, Thor was pouring Steve and Bucky some of his industrial mead. The three men, Wanda, and Sharon Carter were talking amongst themselves, waiting for the party to kick in a little bit more before going out to the crowd.

“Hey Buck, if you stare at her anymore I think you may either go blind or put a hole in her.” Sharon spoke up from her brandy while Steve suppressed a laugh into his new cocktail. “Go ask her to dance or something. She clearly is here to have a grand time. She just downed that shot like water.”

The long haired man almost glared at her, but he was too busy watching the subject of conversation indeed take the shot like a champ. And he was a bit impressed. He noticed Tony and her laughing as she followed her shot with another cocktail. He was curious about how she was handling herself. It must have showed on his face, because Steve spoke up beside him.

“It takes a bit more than usual for her to be effected by alcohol. She can get drunk, quicker than us, but about five shots of Everclear to her are equivalent to one or two shots of any average liquor to any average person. So about three shots of Thor’s stuff. Maybe though, since she’s never actually had any. Sam and Clint learned that the hard way. E drank them under the table! Now, go ask her to dance. She’s heading towards the auctions.” Steve nudged him in her direction as the others egged him on.

With a grunt and small glare at his friends, he approached the woman whose purple eyes were permanently burned into his brain. As she’s glancing at every item up for bid on the tables. He takes not of her elegant stance and the way her hair stands out against the dark green of her dress, and sparkles from her gold accessories make her shine. An idea however, pops into his head. So he makes a detour towards the DJ. Once he walks back towards the woman, La Vie En Rose begins to play. His pride boosts a bit when he sees her perk her head up and smile. He did have the right idea!

“Would you like to dance?” He asks simply to gain her attention. When E smiles and nods yes, the words begin to play. The metal hand Bucky is known for grabs her own and his hand places itself on her waist, and hers goes to his shoulder. However, it is the English Louis Armstrong version that begins to play. With a scoff he says, “Damn I meant for the original to play.”

Her eyebrows perk up and she thinks it’s cute how he put some thought into the song. “It’s quite alright. I may know both versions, and the original is a classic, but there is something beautiful about this one.”

“At least it’s long enough for a proper dance. Especially with someone who knows how to genuinely dance.”

“People nowadays know how to dance, just not the classic manner we grew up with. I will say, I do appreciate that you know how to properly lead. Last time I had one of those was in the 80s.”

He instantly wants to know more about her past, to know everything about her unique history. “Someone special?”

“He was actually.” E takes note of his slightly surprised answer, not expecting that answer. “He was someone from my past, but he’s gone now.”

“Damn I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to bring something like that up.” Guilt washes over him, despite her reassurance that everything was fine. “Alright I’m going to change the subject now in a not so smooth manner. How many dances or drinks will it take for you to tell me what E stands for?”

The chuckle she lets out makes him feel like he could float. “More than you may think. But you’re cute, so I will tell you that it is a nickname. Both for my powers and the fact that my first, middle, and last name start with E. Wow.. Either I am becoming a lightweight or I don’t know because I have not revealed that much to someone I just met in a long time.”

“I consider myself lucky then. Although I will tell you that one way or another I will find out your name.” She appreciated his teasing tone, it was sweet and made her really smile. “Also, thanks for callin’ me cute darling.”

They kept dancing until the song and the next one was finished. After they made a few bids at the auction, they went to the bar where the others were secretly watching them interact.

Thor was the first to greet the woman with a bright smile and fair question. “E can I offer you another drink?”

“You know I can never pass you up on that Thor. Vodka gimlet please. So how is everyone?”

“Emma Ester Edwards. My guess for the month.” Everyone turned to Wilson who looked confident in the name he just blurted out. Everyone laughed as he pouted after E simply shook her head no with a sassy smirk on her face. “Oh come on! I have been at this since I met you girl. Will you even tell me if I get it right?”

“I take offence that you think I would lie to you. I promise if you ever somehow get it right, I will tell you. But that day will happen no sooner than you lifting Thor’s hammer so I’m not worried.” She looked proud of herself for that one. Confidently she sipped her drink, flipped her hair, and leaned her arm on Bucky’s shoulder. He seemed to get the hint right away and put his arm around her waist. She felt good, looked good, and knew the night ahead was going to be worth the time spent getting ready.
