Hey y'all! My name is Karissa. I currently live in Central Texas, we've lived here almost a year now. My family and I moved out here from Washington State in March 2022! My Housewife Truths

I've discovered the below things are absolutely always true for me.

There are always dirty dishes. I can comb the entire apartment and wash every dish, but there will always be one more. I don't know how. They reproduce on their own.

There is always dirty laundry. I keep finding shirts in random places. I'd expect socks, underwear, or handkerchiefs, but I keep finding shirts. The minute I sit down all satisfied with myself, I see another dirty shirt.

Nothing isn't covered in cat hair. I give up. The cat hair wins.

The kitchen isn't clean. The minute I clean the kitchen, I find something I want to cook or bake. Half the time I'm cleaning as I cook or bake and then collapse from exhaustion with half of the kitchen still a mess.

My hair looks like shit. I've tried a million things and this is just true. If it looks good I'm not even sure how it happened.

Plans mean everything and nothing. I plan everything out so I can know how much energy I'm using when and get everything done. It never ever goes to plan.

Today marks 5 years of my husband and I being together officially. We started dating 5 years ago today.
