Ian Wright is without a doubt one of the finest footy OG's of our time. So, it was no small feat to boil down his rich tapestry of life stories and knowledge into 4 short animated pieces...

We teamed up with our mates at HOMEGROUND, alongside Adidas and Arsenal, to celebrate the iconic Ian Wright's 60th birthday through a special edition football jersey.

In this spot, we dive into the essence of 'Wrighty’s' legendary career. Pulling illustrations from the jersey itself, we crafted animated sequences which highlight pivotal moments, wisdoms and ‘Wrighty-isms’ that are brought to life through his infectious passion for the game!

I feel like Bill Nye isn’t added in so often when I see the ‘Wholesome Squad’ consisting of those like Bob Ross, Steve Irwin, Stefan Karl Stefansson, ect.

Cause while Mister Rogers is ‘love your neighbors!’ and the newest addition, Marie Kondo is ‘love the place around you!’. Bill Nye expresses the energy of ‘Love the world we live in!’.

So, I just learned  Stefán Karl Stefánsson was part of the Thor (2011) cast/crew. He is listed as “Miscellaneous Crew” and occasionally listed as a “Voice Actor” but I can’t find anything specific to his role in the production.

This man was such a huge part of my and many other’s childhoods. I know it’s been a while since he passed away, but it doesn’t take the sting away.

Rest peacefully Stefan. You will always be number one.

There’s a petition going around to place a statue of Stefán Karl Stefánsson in his hometown in Iceland. I haven’t seen this on Tumblr, so I figured I’d share it.
