anniemacdj I used to hate photo shoots - one of my first ones traumatised me when there were six people gathered round the camera looking at the shots trying to figure out how to adjust the lights so I had less freckles. I rarely had female photographers - always blokes telling me to lower my chin and look up at them, telling me to smile. what if i don't want to smile? Then i learnt how to say no. And I learnt how to choose photographers based on how comfortable I felt around them. Here I am sitting in the cosy flat of photographer @stephaniesiansmith - her cat is padding around my chair and the music is blasting loud. Same with stylists - find a friend who dresses well and can help you feel good. Someone you can be honest with. This is @msaimeephillips. This was a fun shoot. And the jumper! I used to hate pink! this @ganni dream jumper changed my mind...
