@tarthearted ( ft @ghostcamera ) :     When Ace walks into the cafeteria this time, it isn't to visit Leona (thank the seven) but instead to make a delivery to Ruggie. The various murmurs and comments and curious stares from other students pointedly go ignored as Ace grabs a nice-sized box, bigger than most of the other candygrams he's given. Whoever sent this really knew Ruggie's likes judging by the donuts inside.
"Ruggie-senpaiiii, you got a candygram delivery."
Six donuts of good-quality and even better taste. They're all dressed up in valentine's day colors, icing, and heart sprinkles—all reds, pinks, and whites. The only odd one out is one regular donut, rolled in white powered sugar. Ace sets the box on the table and tiredly sighs as he pulls out the message, only to be shocked at the name.
"Huh, so even they've got a soft spot for ya." he mumbles with grin before he readies himself to read. "'Roses are red, and I'm not good with rhymes, but I hope this fancy-box-of-donuts-I-got-in-town are sublime. From Yuudai.' Congrats. If I knew they were from the housewarden, I probably would've stolen one."
Tumblr media
valentine’s day isn’t exactly his favorite holiday. in terms of holidays christmas, halloween & his birthday are a lot better when it comes to the food & the gifts offered his way. but valentine’s day ain’t so bad either. usually ruggie can make a madol or two selling candy or delivering corny love letters to their secret admirers. though business has been a bit slower this year, especially after somebody else volunteered to be the night raven delivery boy before he got the chance to. admittedly that took him by surprise. ruggie thought he was the only one here who had an interest in doing odd jobs ‘round here.
the hyena’s ears perk upward as his name is called, cloudy blue eyes fixing on one ace trappola long before the first year has made his way to ruggie’s side. a candygram, eh? well it’s not completely out of the ordinary. ruggie usually likes to sprinkle around small tokens to his fellow students every now & again in hope that he’ll get something twice as nice in return. but valentine’s day is usually a lovey dovey kinda day ain’t it? course ruggie isn’t gonna refuse anything free offered to him, but what are the intentions here?
his eyes dart from the redhead to the large box of doughnuts in his hands. a personal touch & definitely more pricey looking than the generic candy most people send this time of year. now who would take the thought, time, effort & possible money just to treat him?
ruggie’s eyes narrow as he takes the box, only to widen momentarily as ace reads out the notecard. the prefect...well he’ll be damned. now that’s an interesting move. were it someone else ruggie would be more inclined to suspect underhanded intentions, for the sender to expect or demand he reciprocate with some favor. but yuudai wasn’t really like that. nah, they were the one usually doing all the favors for people. what a surprise...
Tumblr media
❛    shishishi, what a sap.    ❜  the corners of his lips curl into a wide smile, letting out a wispy laugh as he looks over the doughnuts in his hands. ❛   didn’t think yuudai was into cheesy stuff like this.   ❜  on the surface ruggie appears relatively unaffected by the gesture, the second year looking his usual amused & teasing self. you wouldn’t think he cared at all for the gift let alone actually be sincerely touched by it. but looks can be deceiving.
ruggie gives ace a word of thanks before going off to continue on his errands. as he exits the cafeteria & enters an empty hallway, he at last opens the box of doughnuts. something shifts in his smile as he does so, his expression softer & less exaggerated as he picks out the powdered doughnut & pops it in his mouth. in the privacy of the hall ruggie’s tail does a gleeful little flick at the sweet taste, still smiling as he closes the box to save for later. the doughnuts were pretty good. maybe this day ain’t so bad after all.

Supernatural fanfiction: Dean is baking and Cas is there.
Words: 1867

fanfiction
wattpad
This is definitely one of the fluffiest things I've written.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dean is getting antsy. When he gets like this, it means he needs to go out. He used to go try and pick up some girl and spend the night doing that…but he hasn’t done that in some time. In a long time. There are...reasons for that, which Dean ignores. So, he ends up going into town and getting a pricey bottle of whiskey and ingredients for brownies. He considered making pie, but it’d be too complicated. Especially if he is planning on getting as drunk as he’s hoping to. Sam is on a job with a couple guys Dean had a nasty fight with a couple years back during his, uh…demon phase, so he thought it best to stay behind. It’s a bit hard to explain to a couple of hunters that you’re no longer a demon. Dean sets up everything he’ll need in the kitchen before opening the whiskey. He takes a nice long drink. He can feel the warmth run through him, and the aftertaste lingers just enough for him to want more. It’s awesome. He takes another drink. Dean kinda measures the things he puts into the mixing bowl, taking sips of his whiskey in between each item he adds. Once he finishes that, he turns on the mixer and starts mixing. The whisks easily plow through the chunky batter, blending it all perfectly. It’s fun to watch, and Dean grins. He mixes longer than is probably necessary. The whiskey has definitely taken effect. He sets the bowl down. “Dean.” Dean turns around. Cas is standing at the entrance of the kitchen. Dean smiles. He’s glad Cas is here. Maybe he’ll even be able to spend some time with the angel. Probably not, though. Cas doesn’t make it a habit to stay. “Cas!” Dean greets. “What are you doing?” the angel asks and walks closer. He stops so he’s standing beside Dean. Dean wishes they were further apart. He’s been falling into this bad habit of touching Cas when he gets close. Nothing weird. Just touching his arm or grabbing his shoulder. Dean knows he needs to chill, or it will lead to him wanting more. And he can’t do more. Not with Cas. They’re best friends. He can save his desires for hot chicks and cute waitresses. Like what you were planning tonight? Before you changed your mind. Because all you can think about lately is him. Dean shoves that thought down and answers Cas, “Making brownies.” Dean turns to the mixer and takes one of the whisks off. “Here. Try some.” He hands the whisk to Cas. Cas grabs it and frowns. “This isn’t brownies.” Dean rolls his eyes. He finds Cas’ naivety endearing most of the time. Cute even. But Dean doesn’t call other men cute. “It’s the batter,” Dean explains. He’s not really sure if that clarifies anything for the angel, but he doesn’t really care. He takes off the second whisk. “It still tastes good.” “Aren’t uncooked eggs harmful to humans?” Cas says while squinting at the egg carton and broken egg shells on the counter. “Yup,” Dean answers then licks his whisk. It’s not bad. Sweet and chocolatey. He’s also a little tipsy, so he doesn’t really care if it’s not perfect. He looks up at Cas. Cas licks the whisk tentatively, his tongue darting across it. He stares thoughtfully before taking another taste. This time he licks the whisk slower. Dean bites his lip. Mistake. Why did he hand that Cas? And why did he stare that whole time? It’s not like Cas can even taste it. Not really. Dean holds his hand out for Cas to return the whisk. Cas hands it back. Then Dean notices Cas got some of the batter on his face. “Cas,” Dean says while pointing at his cheek. “You got some, uh, there.” Cas attempts to wipe it away, but misses it completely. “No, uh, more to the left,” Dean says. Cas misses it again. Then Dean realizes he was talking about his left and not Cas’. Dean sighs and sets the whisks down. “Let me.” He steps closer to Cas and gently wipes the batter from his cheek. Cas’ skin is soft, and Dean wants to feel more. But he swallows and pushes that thought aside. He should’ve gone to a hookup tonight. Dean is about to step back, but is surprised to see Cas staring at him. It isn’t a normal stare. It’s intense. It’s as
if Cas is studying every inch of Dean’s face. Dean feels himself blush and quickly turns away. He places the whisks in the sink and takes a few more sips (okay, more like gulps) from the whiskey. Cas is staring at him again. “You want some?” Dean holds up the bottle. “No. But thank you.” Dean shrugs and takes another sip. The oven beeps. “What does that mean?” Cas asks. “It means the oven is warm enough to put the brownies in.” Dean walks over to the mixing bowl, grabs the ladle next to it, and walks over to the oven. Cas curiously follows. “I set this pan up for the brownies,” Dean further explains before concentrating on scooping the mix and placing it into the pan. The alcohol is messing with his motor skills a bit. He turns back to get more mix, but Cas is standing right there. Dean’s breath catches in his throat. They’re really close. They’re so close it would take Dean barely any effort at all to lean forward and... Dean snaps his eyes up from staring at Cas’ lips. Shit, shit, shit. Maybe Cas didn’t notice. Dean clears his throat. “I need more mix.” He holds up the ladle and pointedly looks at the bowl behind Cas. Cas steps back to give Dean more room. Dean continues to scoop the rest of the mix onto the pan. His thoughts drift back to a few moments ago. Had Dean just missed his chance with Cas? ...No. Cas doesn’t feel the same way. Dean likes to think he can read Cas pretty well, and he’d definitely notice if the angel felt...things towards him. Dean ends that train of thought. He’s finished putting the mix into the pan. He grips the pan with his left hand and opens the oven with his right. As he slips the pan into the oven, his thumb gets stuck under it, but he doesn’t realize it until after he places the pan down, scrapes his thumb across the oven grill, and closes the oven. He feels the pain then. Fucking alcohol. He inspects his thumb. It’s not bad. “Dean.” Cas is holding out his hand. Dean slowly moves his injured hand in Cas’ direction. Cas gently grabs Dean’s hand with both of his. Cas’ hands are warm and soft. Dean glances up at his face while he heals him. Dean wants to hold hands for real.
God, he’s so pathetic. Cas looks up at him, and Dean realizes Cas finished healing him and brings his hand closer to look at it. It’s all better. “Dean...” Cas steps closer, and Dean tries to give Cas more room by stepping backwards but hits the counter instead. “Y-yeah?” Dammit. Dean didn’t mean to sound so uncertain, but they are close again. His heart his pounding, and the whiskey is making him feel warm and fuzzy. Dean just wants to give in to what he’s feeling. But he can’t. He never has, and he won’t let tonight be the night he slips up. Cas tentatively reaches for one of Dean’s hands and holds it. He brings their hands up and interlaces their fingers. Cas feels just as warm and soft as before. Dean barely manages to find his voice to ask, “What are you doing?” “I don’t know,” Cas replies softly. “It just feels...right.” Dean can’t argue with that, and he’s barely managed to process they’re holding hands when Cas steps even closer. Cas stares at Dean intensely again. “Is this okay?” Cas asks. Dean can barely breathe. He’s wanted this so badly for so long, he can’t believe it’s actually happening. Dean stares at their hands. He must be dreaming. “This is great,” Dean finally answers. Dean looks back at Cas. Cas’ eyes flick down Dean’s body. Arousal strikes through Dean, and he tightens his grip on Cas’ hand. Dean realizes Cas probably didn’t mean for him to see that. Cas’ immediately looks back up at Dean and blushes. Damn. It’s cute. And now Dean can’t help it. He leans in and softly kisses Cas. It’s just the smallest press of his lips against Cas’, and Dean’s starting to pull away when Cas grabs the front of his shirt and brings him back. Dean grabs the back of Cas’ neck and presses himself further into the angel. The kiss is desperate at first. It’s like they’re both trying to unleash every suppressed emotion and every unsaid word that has passed between them for years. Cas pushes Dean into the counter, and it digs into the back of Dean’s legs. It hurts, and Dean pulls back from Cas momentarily. “The counter,” Dean says quietly. In one swift movement, Cas switches their positions and pulls Dean back to him. “Wait, Cas.” Cas freezes, his hand still gripping the front of Dean’s shirt. “Is something wrong?” “Maybe we should slow down,” Dean says breathlessly. “...You want to slow down?” The disappointment in Cas’ voice feels like a slap in the face. Dean is surprised that it seems like Cas doesn’t want to stop. “God, no.” Dean takes this chance to look over Cas. His hair is a mess, and his lips are pink and swollen. Dean’s heart races at the thought that he was able to make Cas like this. “But I think that’s why we should.” “I thought you enjoyed sex.” The disappointment lingers in Cas’ voice, and he releases Dean’s shirt. Dean blushes at the mention of the word “sex”. It’s not so much as the thought of sex itself, but the thought of having it with Cas. And Cas apparently wanting it. With Dean. Right now. “I do but—” Dean grabs Cas’ hand, “—you mean more to me than just that. I want to do things right with you.” Dean looks into Cas’ eyes. He needs Cas to understand how much he means to him. Dean doesn’t want to fuck this up. He can’t fuck this up. “That’s supposed to make me want you less?” Dean smiles and looks down at their hands. “I don’t want to just have sex with you.” His eyes fly back to Cas’. “Don’t get me wrong, I do, believe me, but...I want to date you.” The phrase feels so foreign. Dean never imagined dating someone. Let alone the one person he’s wanted for so long. “...I think I understand, Dean,” Cas says. He leans in and kisses Dean gently. “I want to date you, too.” Dean blushes then feels embarrassed about blushing, which only makes it worse. He can’t believe he feels so happy over this. The oven beeps again, and the moment is over. Dean gets the brownies out, but burns himself on purpose this time. Cas doesn’t seem to mind.

im kinda want to get into this sort of thing so is it okay to ask u a few questions? if not just delete this, but here goes? would u reccomend game maker studio 2, and how hard is it to use in ur opinion? and is there anything u wish u knew at the beginning of making ur fangame?
aw anon you’re so sweet! don’t worry about asking about this, its really exciting to make games and trying new things! i would not say i’m an expert, and i wouldn’t even say i know gml like. at all. i just understand a how the code is used, but now what the code itself is or what to type exactly. like, i understand the theory more so than actually doing it. which is, eh, fine? i’m getting by, and i’m still learning. i’ve only been using gms 2 for 2 months now.
also, i’m using a fangame engine! i feel its kinda like cheating lmao, but its just meant to be a framework to build your own thing off of. and i still need to learn gms2 to use it, and i plan on doing more advanced and complicated things (ie: changing how battles even work structurally.) so. i’m not good at gsm2 yet, but uh, really once you understand coding its not any harder than i’d imagine w/ other professional game engines. compared to unity, i like this better because it seems built on the idea of making 2d sprite games. its SO much more simpler and the userface (while. i’m not a fan of how it has its workspace but whatever) is simple and easy to grasp.
i can’t say for certain if i recommend game maker. its very pricey and doesn’t go on sale often. (big sales i mean, it goes on 15% somewhat frequently) i really, really recommend doing your research first.
so here i talk about what game engines i’ve used over the last year. (also i hear Godot is good!)
at the end of that post i said this: “TLDR; figure out what kind of game and story you want to tell/make. i could of saved a year’s worth of work if i just sat myself down and realized i wanted to make a completely new fangame separate from my old blog stuff. and that i wanted to make an rpg specifically.“
and so! past me has good advice. figure out the scope and what story do you want to tell. with AL, I know it has 2 chapters, and rn i’m only concentrating on chapter 1. chp 1 has 7 nights and one area where you fight enemies. its very story/character driven and is more so like. a deconstruction of the rpg genre than an actual rpg game. (i know that the word deconstruction is over used as hell, but it is what this is.)
it builds off the themes of the original, while focusing on things that i want to focus on and develop. ut, at it’s heart, is about stories and grief, i’m just taking it to a different extreme and angle.
uh, anyway, i really wish i knew what i wanted to make and understood the source material more and what i wanted to make. i’ve. thought really really hard over what UT means, what message toby was trying to convey, how he did it and what I thought about it. understanding what YOU want from and for your project is the most important thing. WHY do you want to make this? WHAT do you want people to feel and think about when playing? or even, after playing? it doesn’t have to be super deep either.
so, figure out what you what to make, and then you can work on the how. really plan your story, but honestly i wouldn’t recommend planning it in super big details right off. also, super helpful to have a friend help you brainstorm and plot check things for you. (shout out to my friend the sniffer
anyway, don’t plan things TOO detailed because things are GOING to change no matter how well you plan! just try to get get an outline done, then rewrite it 5 more times and then MAYBE you’ll be ready to tackle a more detailed version. then write it 5 more times. i can’t stress enough how important planning is, and how you shouldn’t expect everything to work out even on draft 10! things will work, and when they do, draft 10 is going to look like bad awful nonsense cause you’re at draft 20 now and everything is much more coherent and better. games aren’t written or consumed all at once on the fly. its not a piece of fanart, a fanfic, a comic. its not updated more than once. its out, and then its just out. plan for it.
and real quick, don’t worry about art assets! depending on how you do the art, that’s most likely going to change and its going to be polished LAST. i could go more into how you should think of art when game developing, but thats another topic. just. honestly use shitty art assets and worry about it later.
Tumblr media
kris’ place holder sprite for deltarune ^ it don’t need to be pretty, it needs to be practical.
second advice: start SMALL!!! i feel i should of done this, and frankly i probably will have to sit down and do this lmao, basically, you should make boring small games to learn the basics. I know, i know, nobody really wants to recreate asteroid when you got big ideas of making stories and animations u wanna make. but like. you really need to figure out how the program works and how the code works in theory and practice.
Tumblr media
ok so like, think of coding like this. i got this from a skillshare video series, so uh. i’m going to retell this but in a shittier and likely less nuanced way. sorry
ok so imagine. you’re telling this guy who is trying to get to Gary’s house. now, Gary’s house is just down the road, few houses down, now, you can tell this guy that and he’ll likely find the house just fine. but if you’re telling a robot it’s not going to understand what “down the road” means. what road? how long? it needs instructions that are simple and work in a language it understands.
so you tell the robot “go down two houses, stop at sign until x seconds pass, turn right, go forward 1 house, turn ect. stop at house, ring doorbell. IF Gary answers, go inside; ELSE: do not go inside, wait;
so this what i mean by understanding the theory behind the code rather than the code itself. yes there’s complexities and differences in each language, but they’re ALL based on the same concepts. different program languages are less like different speech languages, but rather different dialects of the same. (uh, like us english vs uk english) its just different rules and “spellings” of the same core concepts.
next advice: don’t be afraid to ask for help! but also! do so within reason! if people are OPEN for helping, be sure do so in the right environment and within what time works for them. compensate people for the time and effort if you can. ALWAYS try to figure out the solution yourself first. often with coding, it can be a simple solution that you could of thought of yourself if you took the initiative to. google is your friend, youtube is your friend! (ok, youtube isn’t, but in this case! yes!) the answer might not always be easy to find, and its perfectly fine to look for help but its good to at least try on your own first!
speaking of which! LEARN LEARN LEARN! be ready to devote A LOT of time to watching and reading about game development. this goes to every game making program, not just gms2. i watch. so many videos on gms. i rec having the video play at 1.5x or 2x speed to cut down time. obvs you still need to retain the information, so speed might be not a good idea then. and its REALLY GOOD to pause and type out the code and follow along. but its also good to just understand the concepts, and theres no harm in rewatching once you’ve understood it  better at a different speed.
things WILL click and work out for you, and its going to be a very time consuming and long journey to get there. i LOVE making this game and telling this story but I also had no idea what i was getting into! and i probably will have more advice once i’m further in, (i’ve only used gms 2 for 2 months!) but thats the best i can say for now! i hope you pursue your dreams and start making things!!! you can do it!!!
the best time to start is yesterday, the second best time is right now! even if you put a little effort into it everyday, you’ll  build up progress and you can learn SO MUCH over time and theres this whole world of possibilities out there! the world NEEDS your story and your perspective, and i think creating it in anyway you can is necessary for humanity! your work will mean something to someone someday, and i am so excited for you to start your journey!

Karma’s a Bitch. ❜
Summary:  Edgar doesn’t take kindly to people messing with his creed members. Warnings:  Graphic depictions of violence.
He entered the bar with a sense of purpose, immediately locating the man that he was after in the same spot as he had been when they had first met.  It was late, closing time upon him, and the dwindling staff pleased Edgar greatly.  I need you alone.  I can’t do anything with an audience.
After a moment to compose himself, the Alpha proceeded to the bar, leaning against it and waiting to be given attention.  When he wasn’t given it after a few seconds, he cleared his throat, prompting Ronnie to turn around quickly.
“Did I scare you?”   Edgar asked with his usual wide grin.  He was delighted to note the slight pause before the other told him that he didn’t, that he’d just surprised him.  You’re a liar.  I unsettle you.   “Good!  You don’t have to fret around me, you know.  I came with a simple request.”
It’s kinda…  closing time,”   the man mumbled, glancing at the clock.  Edgar nodded.
Tumblr media
“It isn’t a business inquiry,”   he replied, fingers steepling.   “I was wondering if you wanted to play cards.  I never did get the opportunity to play with you the last time I was here and I’ll admit that I’ve been thinking about it.  I want to see if I really can beat you.”   When he didn’t look convinced, Edgar slipped the cash that he’d taken from his tavern’s till and set it down on the bar-top, smiling wider.   “Of course we’d play for money.  Like men!”
He watched as the man halted in his tracks, eyes taking in the notes in front of him before his face cracked into a smile.    “That’s quite a hefty sum.”
“That’s why I’m betting it,”   Edgar replied with a smug smile.   “I think people play better when they have something to lose, no?”
He had to hold back a snicker as he was led down to the basement.  That’s exactly where I need you.
                                                      ---------------------------------
Ronnie clearly felt comfortable down there.  It didn’t take him long to settle once he’d set up the table, a bottle and a pack of cigarettes set out for his consumption throughout their match. Edgar refused any and all things that were offered to him, spinning some tale about abstinence for the sake of his children when Ronnie ceased to pester him about it.  Surprisingly, he was respectful of that much, not asking again.
Good for you.  But it’s not enough to help you now.
As he was dealt his hand, Edgar swept his cards from the table and stared at them.  It was average, not particularly good or bad;  a couple of viable routes he could go down, a couple of dead-ends that could cost him the game if he tried to pursue them.  It wasn’t as if it mattered.  We won’t finish.
“When did you start playing?”   Ronnie asked as he took his first card from the pile, face not changing when he saw it.  You’re good.  You have one hell of a poker face, though I bet it’s only for cards.
“I have a friend who can’t seem to keep himself away from casinos,”   he replied, voice chipper.  That much was the truth.  Moxie had a gambling streak in him to say the least. Whenever there came an opportunity to bet money on something or play on a slot machine of some sort, the lye lit up in a way that Edgar found equally as worrying as he did endearing.  Why is it only when you’re throwing things away that you find any joy in what you’re doing?   “In an effort to cut his habits down, I learned to play so that we could do so in a way that we could both control.  He could still make some bets;  I could stop him if it became too pricey or too stupid.”
“It works?”   he asked, shuffling his cards around before discarding one, replacing it with another.
Tumblr media
“Eh.  Varied results.”   He picked his own card to throw away, taking one from the pile as Ronnie’s previous one didn’t help him any.  Though he didn’t intend to play the game all the way through, he still felt some sense of commitment towards making good choices.  Perhaps I don’t want him to have a final high before he dies.   “What made you open up a bar?”
“Is this a tactic?  You tryna distract me?”
Edgar spared him a brief chuckle, tail coiling behind his head.   “I’m just curious.  I own a tavern.”
“Ohhh.  That makes a lot of sense.”   Ronnie paused to take a long swig of alcohol, his legs suddenly propped atop the table.   “Yeah no, I just wanted to make some place that was different, y’know?  Somewhere kinda charming but not as in-your-face as a club.  Vide’s got too many of those.”
“Ahhh,”   Edgar said, chuckling.   “That’s funny.  I figured you did it to rape women more easily.  To get them all drunk and high and incapable.”
There was a heavy silence, one devoid of the niceties they’d both been exuding up until that point.  Then, in a frustrated voice:   “Excuse me?”
“You’re not excused,”   he said breezily, swapping his card for one on the pile.  At this point, he could feel Ronnie’s stare burning a hole into his skull, indignation hot and fierce.  When he didn’t say anything, Edgar lifted his gaze to his, head tilting to one side.   “Mhmm.  I know what you did to ‘NeeNee’.  She told me everything.”
He seemed to go pale then, shooting up from his seat and demanding that he left.
“I knew it.  Your pokerface is certainly only for card games,”   Edgar replied, remaining seated.   “So?  How was it?  Did you have fun?”
Tumblr media
“Did you?”   he spat back, furiously trying to deflect blame.  When Edgar looked up at him again, he continued, an enraged spiel beginning to leave him.   “Everyone could hear you two in there, you fuckin’ sicko.  It’s bullshit for you to be pointing fingers like this!”
“The difference being that she begged me to do it,”   he replied calmly, shuffling his cards around until placing them face-down on the table.   “She couldn’t get far away enough from you if she tried.  She likes me, you see.  That’s not something you’re so familiar with, is it?”
“Fu--”   He was interrupted by the hybrid’s tail flitting by his ankle, slithering upwards until the forked end could get caught in his shirt collar.  It dragged him close, his hip slamming painfully into the side of the table as he all but tumbled onto the Alpha’s lap.  His words caught in his throat as fear took a hold of him.
“If you ever insinuate that I rape my inferiors again, I’ll take your eyes and feed them to you, understand?”   Edgar hissed.  Perhaps a little introspection would do you good regardless. If you could look inside yourself, maybe you’d be able to see what a scumbag you are.
Ronnie hesitated, nodding feebly, though it was clear he was still pissed off.   “Why’re you here?  It was just a bit of fun.  You just left her there--”
“She told me to leave, so I left.  She did not tell you to lay your hands on her.  Did she?” The room was silent, and that ticked him off enough to stand up, slamming the man’s head down onto the table.   “Did she?  She didn’t tell you to do that, did she?”
“NO, Ch-Christ, let me--  what’re you--  WHAT’RE YOU DOING?!”   He began to struggle as he felt the man above him feeling around his waist line, his pants loosening from his waist. His fingers curled into the table, legs kicking furiously, terror building up in his throat like vomit as he began to scream.
Tumblr media
“What’s the phrase...  ’karma’s a bitch’, eh?”   Edgar asked, asserting more of his weight atop him as he wrestled his pants to his ankles.
“Oh my fucking God, don’t--  you’resomuchfuckingbiggerthanme--”   He was beginning to sob, sanity slipping through his fingers as he felt himself going numb with fear.  He was bucking and squirming as much as he could, adrenaline rushing to his head, and then all at once he’d frozen still, body seizing up, tears blurring his vision as he felt the other man’s hands tear and rip and push--
-- and then the pressure was gone.  When he dared to open his eyes again, he barely had time to see anything before he was dragged up by his hair, body meeting Edgar’s sturdy frame effortlessly.  He felt foolish standing there in just his underwear, though he was too terrified to think about retrieving his pants.  He just stood there like an idiot, wheezing through tears and whimpers, and when Edgar’s cold hand gripped his chin, the sounds only got worse.
“... I want you to remember that,”   he told him softly, voice hot against his ear.   “That fear. I want you to carry it with you to the grave.  And every time you recall it, I want you to think of that poor, small girl that you took advantage of in the bathroom.  Do you understand me?”
He nodded quickly, sniffling for all he was worth.   “G-God, yes, o-of c--”
“You revolt me.  I couldn’t do this for the life of me.  I couldn’t regardless, because I’m not an animal, but especially not to you.  You make me sick--”   He didn’t think about what he was doing when he spat at him.  In truth, he hadn’t meant to--  only realised when he was staring at a missing patch of skin, pale white bone revealed, the screaming fading in as he came to terms with it, and that was the beginning of it all.
I was going to let you go, you know.  I was going to hurt you, badly, but I was going to let you live.  Carry that guilt around for a while.  But we can’t go back, can we?
Tumblr media
He couldn’t stop himself from beating him.  Edgar didn’t often punch people.  He was more keen on scratching;  on scraping until there was nothing left for his claws to get caught in.  He enjoyed the feeling of blood beneath his nails, of gore between his fingers…  but punching certainly relieved more stress.  By the time he was able to stop, he became aware of Ronnie’s rattled breathing, as if oxygen was being shook around in his lungs before being expelled as a measly puff of air.  Bent over him on the table, he realised that the other man had been right:  he really was so much bigger than him.  It wasn’t hard with his height, but it really put things into perspective nonetheless.  You’re nothing.  You’re like a rabbit to me, only you serve less of a function.  You’re dirt.  You’re the bitch I refused to become in this life.
“Look at me,”   the Alpha demanded heatedly.  His smile was nowhere in sight.  How could it be when he was this angry?  When Ronnie failed to open his eyes, the lye snarled, hand closing around his throat.   “I said look, at me,”   he pressed, squeezing hard.  With a choked noise, the bartender cracked one eye open and stared at him.  Whatever light had been there had been squeezed out of him.   “This is--”
His words were cut off as a glob of blood was spat at him.  It rested on his cheek, viscous and thick, and his brow furrowed slowly.
“Fuck you,”   Ronnie muttered through shallow breaths.   “Y-You’re gonna kill me?  You’re gonna kill me for one little girl?”   he asked, voice high-pitched and breathy.   “I loved fuckin’ her.  She whores out for you so she ain’t tight, but she--  she forgot all about you--  she didn’t give a shit about who you were when my dick was inside her.  ‘Alpha’ my ass. Alpha of what, the fuckin’ children?”
The words rang out like a siren in his head, bouncing against the walls of his skull like ricocheted bullets.  A bloody hand reached up to wipe his cheek slowly, ridding it of the saliva that offended him so, before a chuckle left him. It was quiet at first, though it quickly turned shrill, teeth remaining grit together in a perfect smile as he did so.  Where does your voice come from?
Tumblr media
In a distorted, crackled voice:   “YOU WANT TO PLAY GAMES WITH ME?  AHAHAHA--”   He didn’t say anything else, reaching across the table until he could grab some loose poker chips, shovelling them into his mouth.  He pushed them so hard that several teeth broke along with it, one chip tumbling free and lodging itself in the back of his throat.  Ronnie began to struggle, choking, but Edgar refused to give him any relief as he held him still against the table. When he was on the very cusp of death, skin fading after being a terrible pink, the Alpha pulled him up and dragged him close, weight pressed into his stomach.  A mess of poker chips and vomit came spurting free like confetti from a party-popper.  The man immediately hunched, feeling his stomach turn as he tried desperately to catch his breath, groaning when the lye wrapped his tail around his leg.  He suddenly tugged hard, a sickening crack resounding in the well-lit basement, and Ronnie screamed as a searing pain consumed his lower half.  The tears were starting again, words and apologies garbled messes as the Alpha grabbed at his face, propping it in his direction.   “I suppose it’s kind of hard to talk shit when you’re choking, hm?  Hm?  Do you have anything else to say, wise-guy?”
Ronnie shook his head quickly through horrified wails.  Where’s my leg?  My hip’s in the wrong place.
“No, I didn’t think so.  Let’s just--”   He reached into his mouth then, claws acting like a pair of scissors as he scraped at the man’s tongue.  He continued until he could feel the tip of it coming loose, Ronnie’s mouth a mess of blood and vomit.  When it was free, Edgar pulled it away, inspecting it under a lightbulb as if it was a rare jewel of some kind.   “Let’s just take that. I don’t want my title in such a dirty mouth.  And you won’t make another blunder like that again, will you?  Win-win.”
Tumblr media
The lye took a moment to pause, letting the man’s body crumble to the ground as he leaned against the table.  Bloody hands reached into his coat pocket for his pack of mock-cigarettes. One was lit slowly, a controlled breath taken in and then heaved out.  As he smoked, he thought. I wonder if Neena’s the only one he’s taken advantage of like this?  Probably not.  These kinds of dirtbags tend to be repeat offenders.  I’m probably ridding the world of somebody horrible.  The police will probably consider it a favour.
Only when he’d finished his smoke did he tune in to the man’s pathetic crying.  An ear flitted in his direction, the hysteria plain in each laboured breath as he attempted to pick himself up, broken leg leaned on for the briefest of seconds before he gave into another shriek, sinking to his dominant knee again.  As Edgar stared down at him with cold eyes, he was stricken with a thought so primitive that it surprised him:  you’re not even an inferior.  They’re too good for you. You’re a parasite.
With a quiet huff, the Alpha stood up again, putting his cigarette out on the back of Ronnie’s hand before reaching for the alcohol he’d been drinking beforehand.  He considered taking a sip before deciding against it.  Not only do I not need it, his dirty mouth’s been on it.  It was smashed against the table, jagged edge brought to the light for him to inspect as liquor spattered against the floor like blood.
He watched with black eyes as his target attempted to slide on his knee away from him, though it looked more as if he was trying to hop.  Every time Ronnie placed even the slightest of pressure on his wounded leg, he would whimper and shake, sometimes even wail.  Eventually, Edgar became bored, standing up and making his way around the table, the neck of the bottle squeezed tight as he gained a firm grip in Ronnie’s hair, pulling him against his legs.  Had he been able to speak, he likely would have tried to bargain for his life.
“I’m through with you,”   he said without feeling, as if his favourite toy’s batteries had died and he’d decided he didn’t like it as much when static.   “Let it be known that this was completely unavoidable.  All you had to do was keep it in your pants!  That was it!  And hell, had she said yes--  you could’ve had at it!  Gone like little bunny rabbits for all I cared!  But that’s not how it happened, is it?”   Whatever playfulness entered his voice was gone when he spoke again.   “You’re a coward.  You’re a liar.  And you’re a rapist that decided to mess with the wrong woman.  You have no business here.  You’re nothing  -  and you deserved this.”
Tumblr media
The way he stabbed him could have been described as intimate.  The glass of the broken bottle slid into his neck much like a patient lover would his partner;  perhaps serving as a final reminder as to how he should have handled his women.  Edgar listened to him choke and splutter, a hand clawing loosely at one of his pant legs before it dropped to the ground, his body slowly going limp.  As Edgar released his grip on his hair, the body collapsed at his feet with a sad slumped sound--  like a small bag of stones hitting the bottom of a river.  You were dead long before that, Edgar thought as he stared emotionlessly at the dead man before him--  still with his pants around one of his ankles like a fool.  I’m not like you.  I granted you mercy even though you deserved none.
The glass was put down on the table gently, as if he was afraid to smash it further, hands humming with energy as the high of the kill slowly sank into his bones.  Deep down, he knew he shouldn’t have found as much enjoyment in that as he did.  It was supposed to be a business endeavour;  a prod in the right direction.  He was supposed to take his life and leave, not linger and make a mess, but it seemed that he just couldn’t help himself.
I have needs too,  he thought, circling the table as he considered how best to proceed. However he did, he knew that he had one hell of a clean-up on his hands.  The Vide task force was lazy, but he knew that Kuro had given some of their officials a swift kick up the backside. Some of them would care about this case, if only for a little while.  The last thing he needed to do was leave any trace of himself behind
A hand hesitated before flipping his cards back over.  Upon seeing them, he winced, the smile stretching back across his face.  It’s just as well I didn’t come solely to play.  I would have lost.

it’s been kinda uneventful and lonely at the apartment because matt is on ICU rotations. he leaves at 6:30am and doesn’t get home until 7:30-8pm. so i end up having an odd eating schedule - a light dinner at 4pm and a real dinner a few hours later lol. today is officially his last day on this rotation as he heads to clinic! progress: we went almost a month without fighting and finally had an argument on sunday evening. most of the time we argue, it’s not actually about the issue on hand - not to place the blame entirely on him, but many times it is due to displacement of stress. the fights tend to happen after a rough rotation. so, i will try to learn not to take his words personally during these times.
i got my first haircut in what seems like forever today. in LA, i would go to the chinatown salons and pay for a $12 haircut, with tip it would be $15. twice in my life i paid $25 (one at a korean salon and another at a thai salon). $25 is still considered on the lower end for a haircut but i wasn’t into investing that much money into haircare lol. today, i went to a “no frills” place in chinatown according to yelp for a $25 cut & style. the hairdresser was described as “super sweet” by many reviewers. she and her sister run the shop and they’re malaysian chinese. she asked if i spoke cantonese but i said i could only understand a little bit. i’m learning that “sweet” may mean something different in NYC. i notice everyone here kinda has a little bit more spunk than people in LA. this lady talked my ear off - which is a change for me because i literally have nobody to converse with in person besides matt. i liked that she gave me a lot of tips and shared knowledge about hair. she spent a good amount of time with me and was super friendly.
according to her, i have very fine hair. i can wash my hair everyday and it is recommended to blow dry instead of air dry. i can use conditioner, but only use it on the bottom half of my hair and never at at scalp area (my hair is weaker and thinner there). my hair also thins out with length. if i were to color my hair, only get the bottom half colored for the same reason above.
she also taught me how to style/curl my hair which takes less than 2 minutes to do. i developed a more complex makeup routine now. it’s more elevated but i can still get ready very quickly. if i can keep my hair/makeup to take less than ~7 minutes total, i think it’s worth it to look more presentable and feel more confident everyday i leave the house - and also not look like i’m 12 lol.
it’s matt’s birthday this upcoming monday. i feel like there’s really nothing material that he needs. one thing i am considering is the magsafe wallet for the iphone 12. unfortunately, since the item is quite new/hot in demand, i’m afraid it might take a lot of effort to get my hands on one of these in time lol. his mom texted me yesterday and said she would like to buy dinner for him/us as a surprise. i was like “nice! download ubereats. here’s his fav restaurant and choose this order” haha. besides that, i’m planning on cooking steak. i’m also picking up a pumpkin pie which will act as his “bday cake”. as long as he has a feast, i’m sure he’ll be happy.
we recently learned that massachusetts has/is implementing some covid travel rules. basically, we have to have proof of a negative covid test or quarantine for 14 days - or we would get a $500 fine. it would be simple for matt to get a covid test, but i don’t want to go out to get one, especially because i have no symptoms. i tried looking up at home kits but they’re so pricey and i’m not sure how/if my insurance would work here. anyway, i feel like it’s not worth the trouble and have decided to cancel our boston trip.
in place, i have decided that we will go to upstate NY for hiking/nature! one pro to this is that we’ve never stayed overnight at a naturey place together (always city life). another pro is that it’ll be both of our first times (he’s been to boston). i suppose the last pro (and also most important pro) is that it’s the most responsible option for traveling. i remember during LDR that it was difficult planning things with matt. when he’s working 80 hours a week, planning things in person also is not the easiest. it makes me a bit anxious because i want to have plans set in stone for a holiday weekend, and i don’t want to risk waiting a few more days for him to become less of a zombie to be able to participate in the planning process in case something sells out. so not only does the program dictate a residents schedule, their s/o is also largely dictated by it. how evil lol.

2018 Ford EcoSport SE vs. 2018 Hyundai Kona SE vs. 2018 Nissan Kicks SR: Little Vehicles, Big World
Middle-class parents have been asking their “car guy” friends the same question for decades: What car do I buy my newly minted, freshly scrubbed, hormonally hypercharged 16-year-old that’s inexpensive, safe, fuel-efficient, too slow to get into trouble, and quick enough to get out of it? The answer was always the same: an as-new-as-possible compact or subcompact sedan. We had our preferential brands, sure, but the segment held a certain reliability of choice.
No more. Sedan sales are while automakers trip over each other to invent new classes of crossovers and SUVs. Although that means screaming deals can be had on certain forgotten three-boxes, automakers have been putting much more emphasis into creating innovation in the crossover space. As a result, if you’re buying a cheap and cheerful first car for your kid (or yourself) these days, you’re likely buying a crossover.
This is where MotorTrend comes in: We’re here to help you decide how to spend your hard-earned $25,000 (or less) with three brand-new options—the Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Kona, and Nissan Kicks.
Well, kinda brand-new. See, the Kona is the only one that’s actually brand-new. Both the Kicks and EcoSport were designed for other markets like South America and have been on sale there for years. With customers stampeding toward anything with a higher seating position, though, Ford and Nissan quickly homologated those developing-world products for America, rather than potentially lose U.S. buyers by taking the time to build a market-specific vehicle.
Although the paths they took were similar, the results are quite a bit different. The 5-year-old Fiesta-based EcoSport stands out with its tiny 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine and sideways-opening tailgate, a relic of its developing-market roots where it mounts a full-size spare tire on the back. It’s the tallest and stubbiest vehicle present, not to mention the heaviest. It has the only turbocharged engine, yet it makes the least horsepower and has the worst weight-to-power ratio. Although it’s $25,685 as tested, you can spend nearly 30 grand on one if you try.
“The side-opening tailgate is not only inconvenient,” senior production editor Zach Gale observed dryly, “but it also has a gas shock that moans at the end of its travel, where it looks like it may break off.” This was only the beginning of a litany of criticisms against the new-but-old Ford.
The 2-year-old Kicks is a bit more conventional. Its 1.6-liter four-cylinder makes the least torque, but it has the least amount of heft to move by nearly 200 pounds. The only continuously variable transmission present, it claims the greatest EPA-estimated fuel economy. Then again, the Versa-based Kicks is the only contender that doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.
The all-new Kona is conventional beneath its totally unconventional styling. Sharing a platform with the overachieving Kia Rio, its 2.0-liter four-cylinder is the most powerful, giving it the best weight-to-power  ratio despite a curb weight smack in between the others. Like the Ford, it employs a six-speed automatic transmission; unlike the pricey domestic, it’s the cheapest at $20,605 as tested and less than $24,000 for a loaded AWD SE.
The EcoSport and Kona may have the same number of gears, but they engage them entirely differently. The EcoSport is slow to shift and never seems to be in the right gear. Putting it into “S” mode makes no material difference. Every editor who drove it complained about its ponderous acceleration, and it wasn’t just perception. Needing 11.2 seconds to hit 60 mph, it’s slower than a Prius while offering the worst fuel economy of our pack. Good for preventing speeding tickets, perhaps, but several editors worried about merging on a freeway.
“This car is too heavy for this engine,” features editor Christian Seabaugh wrote with the literary equivalent of a sigh. “This engine is great in a Fiesta and acceptable on the Focus. Unfortunately, there’s too much car here. The engine is really working hard all the time. I highly doubt any owner will come close to the 27/29 mpg rating.”
It’s quite the opposite matter for the Kona. With only 24 more horsepower, 7 lb-ft more torque, and a 190-pound weight advantage over the Ford, it gets to 60 mph in a perfectly acceptable 8.3 seconds. Fast enough to get on the freeway comfortably, slow enough to keep the cops away. Having the shortest overall gearing helps here while only dropping the fuel economy to mid-pack.
“Even with the base engine, the Kona feels quick and torquey,” MotorTrend en Español managing editor Miguel Cortina said. “The engine and transmission work very well together, and that six-speed does a nice job downshifting when necessary.”
The Kicks splits the difference across the board. At 9.9 seconds to 60, it’s modern-era slow, but not as slow as the EcoSport. At the same time, though, it feels like it’s making the most of its effort. Ringing in under 2,700 pounds and packing Nissan’s best implementation yet of a CVT, the Kicks never feels as slow as it actually is. As a bonus, it murders the other two in fuel economy.
“With only 125 hp, the Kicks is definitely not a strong player in the performance game,” Cortina said, “but given its low curb weight, it feels a bit quick.”
Of course, we gather our numbers with just the driver and a few pounds of test equipment on board. You or your kid will have friends and stuff that will slow you down (while potentially encouraging them to speed up). How much depends on how much of each you or they can stuff in there.
If you’re looking to win the modern equivalent of the time-honored Volkswagen Beetle Full of College Students test, get yourself a Kicks. The open, airy interior boasts the greatest headroom, front legroom, and cargo space—with seats up or down. Then again, it also registered a number of complaints regarding seat comfort. If you want to transport your friends like people and not clowns, the EcoSport offers the most rear legroom and nicer seats. If you want to bring the whole football team, though, you may want to trade that legroom for the Kona’s all-around superior shoulder room. Plus, it has houndstooth inserts in the front seats, and that’s just cool.
With everyone in actual seats and buckled in properly, you’ll be pretty safe in any of these, but there are important differences. Bear with us here, because neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has individually tested all three vehicles, so we’re going to have to mix and match for a little bit. For example, only NHTSA has tested the EcoSport, which gets four of five stars overall but only three stars in the rollover test when equipped with FWD. Conversely, IIHS has tested both the Kicks and Kona but not the EcoSport. Over there, the Kona comes out on top with top Good ratings in all crashworthiness tests while the Kicks gets marked down to Acceptable on the passenger-side small-overlap front crash test.
IIHS also rates the Kona’s standard collision-avoidance system a notch higher than the Kicks’ also-standard system (the Kicks is dinged for its headlights). For the money, though, you get more safety features on the loaded Kicks SR we tested than this Kona SE has. You can even things out with the Kona SEL for about a grand more than the Kicks. Then there’s the EcoSport, which doesn’t offer a forward collision warning system on any trim, but hey, you can get blind-spot monitoring as part of an $1,800 package. The Ford also stops the shortest from 60 mph by 5 feet, so there’s that.
Thanks to new regulations for the 2018 model year mandating a rearview camera, they all get a reasonably large infotainment screen to show the myriad obstacles behind you. Pasting its Sync3-equipped system to the top of the EcoSport’s dash was the best move Ford made, matching the Kona for clarity, usability, and size. The Kicks’ screen is a bit smaller and the interface more cumbersome, but it’s connected to an SR-exclusive Bose stereo with speaker fidelity that blows the other two out of the water. Priorities, people.
You’ll get as much mileage out of that Bose as you do out of the Nissan’s engine because the Kicks is loud inside—wind, tires, engine, road noise, you name it. That’s not to say the Kona or EcoSport are whisper-quiet, though the problem in the EcoSport is all the creaks and squeaks that come to life on rough pavement. That, and the engine and tires begging for mercy in corners.
It’s mostly just noise, though. Despite being tippy, the EcoSport turns into a corner eagerly and, according to the numbers, hangs on about as well as the Kicks. The Kicks feels light and nimble because it is, but it doesn’t have much more tire grip, and the Nissan’s CVT doesn’t try to be sportier than the Ford’s automatic.
“The CVT provides simulated gears,” technical director Frank Markus observed, “but sadly it does not select those gears in a sporting fashion. At least the CVT is quick to acquire a ratio suitable for exiting a corner once you put your foot down, but there is still a lag time in that reaction.”
Here the Kona stands head and shoulders above the field, handling like a hatchback while simultaneously providing the best ride quality. If you care at all about how a car drives, go straight to Kona. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200 (unless your Hyundai dealer is running a rebate or something).
“This is a huge difference compared to the Kicks or the EcoSport,” Cortina said. “The Kona behaves so much better on every single surface, and the engine response is better.”
For everyone else, how a car drives in bad weather is a much more pressing concern. Although good tires are always your best solution, we all get caught in the occasional freak storm. Using a sandpit to simulate deep snow, we’re happy to report none of our contenders got tow-truck stuck. The EcoSport seemed to struggle the most, but backing up and trying again did the job. Of course, if snow is a major concern in your budget-constrained purchase, you can always get winter tires or trade other options for all-wheel drive.
Unless you’re planning on buying the Kicks, of course. Not offering all-wheel drive at any price has led to a profound and protracted fight in the MotorTrend office over whether that disqualifies it from being considered a crossover. Seeing as we had an all-wheel-drive crossover get stuck in that same sandpit—and because snow tires can make a Miata a winter car—we’ve reached the tenuous compromise of letting the market decide.
The market can also decide which of our trio is the most attractive. We wouldn’t call anything in this class pretty, and among these three, well, it depends what you want. The Kona is wildly polarizing, with some judges comparing it favorably to a Citroën and others making less favorable comparisons. The Kicks is pretty conventional save the optional dress-up pieces like the two-tone paint, but the proportions are a bit off. The EcoSport is even more conventional (read: dated) in styling and even further off in proportions.
“A tall body on tiny wheels makes the EcoSport look like it was drawn by a 3-year-old,” international bureau chief Angus MacKenzie said.

Are there low-cost health insurance options for non-legal adults in California?
My neighbors are immigrants who have lived in California for over 22 years. They have worked and paid taxes since then. Unfortunately, they are still waiting to become legal residents. They have two children who are both U.S. citizens and whose health insurance is already cared for. They themselves pay for private health insurance that is nearly $1000/month. My neighbor recently lost his job and is no longer bringing in any income. Are there any low-cost health insurance options for them?""
Question about starting a business and health insurance in CA?

I find this new thing kind of confusing... I'm in California, by the way, if it helps any. Thanks.""
Whats a really good health insurance for college students?
I was wondering what is a good health insurance company to get a plan with. Im a college student and im in nursing school so they want us to have health insurance in case we get hurt or exposed to anything at any of the hospitals we work at. Im not required to have it but i would like to look around and see if there is a good plan that I could afford. Cop Didn't ask for proof of insurance or registration.?
So i got pulled over for going 28 over the speed limit haha..... It was on a highway and the speed limit was 55 i was going 83 ..... Im from florida and my car and license are all registered in florida but im in georgia right now living with a friend trying to attend college (except i cant find a job cause the worlds slowly dieing lol) But anyways so i get pulled over by this state patrol narcotics douche bag who mind you has no teeth to begin with and in my mind either his mom beat his teeth out of his head or hes a recovering crack head who had lost all of his teeth over the years. Either way he pulls me over and says You were going 83 on a 55 , may i see your license I give him my license he goes back in the car and yeh i was thinking he didnt ask for my proof of insurance or registraion. I would think that he would considering im from out of state. **** Im gonna rant on how this narcotics officer frisked me my question will be at the bottom lol***** So yeh he comes back to the car after running my license and tells me to get out of the car..... I was at this point like .... Ok? So i get out go to the back and he says I asked you to get out cause i see your eyes are red I told him ummm it could be the fact that im allergic to dust and pollen and im driving with the windows down, i rub my eyes cause they itch thusly they get irritated. So i said either its that or the fact that i just got no sleep from the night before and drove my friend up to north carolina. And he then proceeded to ask if he could search my car. Im a month from being 20 and never got pulled over before and ofcourse i said yeh w.e. I smoke cigarettes and when he went to go search my car he comes out freaking out. IS THERE ANY DRUGS IN THE CAR OR ALCOHOL i was like no.... and hes like WELL IF I FIND ONE SEED OF MARIJUANA YOUR GETTING LOCKED UP AND CHARGED 1,100$ ... i was like ok go ahead i dont have anything so thusly he didnt find anything cause i didnt have anything . He finds a vitamin water bottle that wasnt even mine it was my friends girlfriends and he smelt it and said there was alcohol in it...... i was tempted to call him a lunatic and a retard but didnt and just said uhh no thats just vitamin water, so he threw it out and then i went on my marry way with a court date and a crazy speed limit infraction lol. ******* heres the question **** Is it mandatory for a cop to ask for proof of insurance and registration or does it even matter? Thanks for reading if you read the whole thing lol Sean""

How much does US health insurance cost per year?
I am considering moving with my wife and kids to Michigan for a year as part of my degree. I have a number of questions, mainly about health insurance. 1. Will my wife and I still be considered married? If not, will that affect the way we buy insurance/are treated at the hospital? 2. She is very active, with slight asthma and bad PCOS. How much (roughly) would health insurance be for her for one year? 3. I am wheelchair dependent and suffer from epilepsy. How much (really roughly) would my health insurance cost? 4. Do I buy separate health insurance for my children (aged 17 months, 1 month and 1 month)? 5. My eldest child appears to be struggling with leg movement and we are considering the possibility that she may have inherited my condition. Will treatment and tests be covered by the insurance, even though we have an idea of what it might be before buying the insurance? I know these must sound like obvious questions to US citizens, but we are not a particularly rich family, so we need to make sure that there are no big bills hiding around the corner! Thank you""

Car insurance for a rental car?
Hello, I was looking to rent a car for about 1 month, but finding the rental companies insurance costly than the car itself. I called up few insurance companies and they are ready to provide me some cheap basic insurance for like about $75.00/month which covers liability, other car damages; but not the physical damage of my car (they said my credit card company should cover it). I discussed this with one of my friend and he said that the rental car company would not allowed you to rent a car on the renter's insurance. Is it true? If yes, then what could be the best way I can get a cheap and covered car insurance for my rental car for 1 month. Please suggest.""

Renters' insurance...yes or no?
I recently moved into an apartment and am contemplating renters' insurance. I have a few questions before deciding on whether to purchase a policy or not. First, is it worth it? The idea seems similar to buying an extended protection plan for a product; yes, the protection plan is cheap, but what are the odds that the product will actually break during the 1-year timeframe? Every item in which I have ever purchased an extended protection plan (TVs, computers, furniture, appliances) has never malfunctioned/broken. Basically, I paid that money to cover myself in the event of something happening, but nothing ever did happen to any of those items. I would say that I've thrown away approximately $1000 over the years on various protection plans. Second, when I am assessing my personal property value, should I overestimate the actual value of my belongings, or provide a more accurate estimate? Do insurance companies require any visual proof of items you own? I know there are more pros than cons to renters' insurance, but I wanted everyone's opinions on whether renters' insurance is a good buy. Thanks.""
