Hi. Hi. Sorry. I seem to have set the cat spray thing to… to jet stream or something. Oh, did you? I hadn't noticed. So… So. So, Veggie's back then? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It doesn't mean that, uh… I actually just don't know what anything really means right now. Yeah. Yeah. Why did you come? I wanted to say… whatever happens, I'll be here. You came all the way here just to tell me that? Well… I, uh… Yeah. Okay. Bye, Lisa. Bye, Danny.

A list of underrated Christmas movies for everyone who is getting tired of watching the same things every year:
This year, I wanted to make a list of a few Christmas movies that I feel are a bit underrated and under-appreciated, because I’m tired of seeing the same things all the time. If anyone has any suggestions for their own lesser known holiday movies, please feel free to include them!
Arthur Christmas: An animated movie that should be a classic, but it was unfortunately lost to time because it had a horrible marketing campaign that made it look like complete shit. Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s not complete shit. It’s actually fucking amazing.
Arthur, the clumsy son of the current Santa Claus is known for being a lovable idiot who tends to ruin everything he touches, but when a little girl’s present is accidentally left behind one Christmas, Arthur, an elf named Bryony, and his grandfather (a previous Santa…so grandsanta) embark on a chaotic mission around the world to deliver the missing present. Every character in this movie is so fucking funny and empathetic at the same time. Arthur embodies the true meaning of Christmas in everything he does. Bryony is just…on another level entirely. Arthur’s brother Steve (a strategic genius who wants to use his new technology to ensure his place as the next Santa) is a perfect antagonist that the audience still feels sympathy for. They all just have such a fun dynamic, and it’s a crime that more people haven’t seen this.
Tumblr media
Spirited: A fairly new addition to the Christmas movie ranks, since it came out in 2022 (but it was on AppleTV+ so no one watched it). Spirited is a modern, musical version of A Christmas Carol like you’ve never seen before (starring Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds, who are an amazing combination in anything). If you’re tired of seeing endless retellings of Dickens' story, just watch this. It’s hilarious, heartfelt, and it brings a whole new perspective to the story in a way that I’m not going to spoil. And the songs go so hard it’s insane.
Tumblr media
Happiest Season: A rom-com in which a woman named Abby desperately wants to propose to her girlfriend Harper over the holidays during Harper’s family Christmas party…only to realize that Harper’s extremely rich and conservative family doesn’t know she’s gay. Fun rom-com shenanigans ensue. Did I mention Abby is played by Kristen Stewart, and Harper is played by Mackenzie Davis? Also Aubrey Plaza, Alison Brie, and that guy from Schitt’s Creek everyone loves are in it.
This could easily have been a completely different movie if the cast wasn't so funny and didn’t have such good chemistry. It starts out as a standard holiday rom-com, but I was tearing up by the end of this the first time I watched it. If you’ve ever felt like you’ve been hiding your true self from your family or if you’ve felt like you’ve never been good enough for them, I think you’ll see a lot to relate to in this.
Tumblr media
Violent Night: Another new addition to the ever-expanding list of Christmas movies, this aptly named action thriller also came out in 2022, and I feel like no one has spoken about it since, which is a crime because IT WAS SO MUCH FUCKING FUN!
When a grizzled, down on the world Santa (played by David Harbour) gets stuck in a rich family’s house while it’s being overrun by mercenaries, he has to Die Hard his way out and save the hostages (or at least the ones who are worth saving) before it’s too late. This was such a fun surprise, because violent action thrillers are so hit and miss for me personally. David Harbour is great. It’s just under 2 hours of watching shitty people get their comeuppance in unique ways. I’m so offended that it only has a 6.7/10 on IMDB, because this is a great movie to watch with a group of friends and some age appropriate beverages. Yeah, it’s not a masterpiece, and maybe my standards are low, but I had a great time with this.
Tumblr media
Tokyo Godfathers: An anime Christmas classic directed by Satoshi Kon in which 3 homeless people (a former drag queen, a runaway teen, and a grumpy alcoholic) find a baby in a dumpster and try to reunite it with its family. This was the movie that tricked me into thinking Satoshi Kon’s other works would be just as comedic and wholesome as this one. It’s got humor. It’s got heart. It’s got twists and turns that will keep you guessing in the classic Satoshi Kon fashion. And the English dub is just as good as the sub, so you can’t go wrong either way.
Tumblr media
Neo Yokio- Pink Christmas: Speaking of anime…I’ve talked about this one before, but I have to mention it again because it’s a staple for me every year. Pink Christmas is the Christmas special for the…anime (and I use that word in the loosest way possible) Neo Yokio…aka the one starring (and possibly made by?) Jaden Smith.
For anyone who’s never heard of it, Neo Yokio is a series on Netflix that is the closest thing to a professionally made Abridged Series we’ll ever have. The “plot” of the series revolves around Kaz, a pink haired guy who fights demons and does increasingly absurd rich people things with his robot mecha butler named Charles. The Christmas special involves Charles telling Kaz a Christmas story about the city’s Secret Santa competition for all the ultra rich people.
Look, there’s no good way to describe this one, but trust me when I say you don’t have to watch Neo Yokio to understand it, since even people who do watch Neo Yokio don’t understand it. In fact, I think it will be even funnier if you don’t watch Neo Yokio at all before watching Pink Christmas (but I encourage everyone to watch the series too, just because it’s more of the same insanity.)
Every line in it is pure comedic gold, not because it’s truly funny, but because it’s absurd and ridiculous in a way only Jaden Smith can be. I quote it incessantly while eating a Toblerone every year.
Tumblr media
Cabin Pressure at Christmas: Molokai: Okay, it’s not a movie or even a TV special, but I love Cabin Pressure so much that I had to include this too. Cabin Pressure is a comedy radio show (not a podcast, an actual radio show) that aired on BBC Radio 4 in the early 2000s about an airline crew for the world’s shittiest airplane.
For anyone who watched season 2 of Good Omens, you might recognize the name John Finnemore as one of the writers. Well, Cabin Pressure is made by (and stars) the same person. The Christmas episode is one of my favorites of the series, and you 100% don’t need to listen to the entire series to enjoy it. It captures the humor and despair of being stuck with your co-workers on Christmas eve, but it keeps up the spirit regardless. This is another one I quote incessantly, and the whole show has become hardwired into my personality. PLEASE FIND A WAY TO LISTEN TO CABIN PRESSURE! I’m pretty sure the whole series is available on iTunes as an audiobook.
Tumblr media
As honorable mentions, I want to include Rise of the Guardians and Klaus, because even though they have a fair amount of popularity, I still feel like people could appreciate them more. And sure, Rise of the Guardians might be more of an Easter movie, but it still includes Santa as a character, and he’s amazing.
That's all for now. Sorry these are all specifically Christmas themed, but if anyone has movie suggestions for other winter holidays, please throw them in!

Marry Me [John "Bucky" Egan x reader]
Author's Note: In honor of the last episode coming out yesterday (my heart is still broken), I wanted to write something for Bucky. This is based on the portrayal of actors in the Masters of the Air series on AppleTV+. I respect the referenced real life stories and people wholeheartedly. This is not meant to offend anyone.
Warnings: Historical Inaccuracies.
Hope you enjoy this short fic! It seemed like something Bucky would do!
Tumblr media
Bucky stormed into the Cafeteria, quickly scanning the room to find someone. The moment our eyes met, he started making his way towards me with long steps. I couldn't tell if I should be worried about what he was going to tell me or excited he came to see me, as I could feel my heart beat rise the closer he got to me.
"Bucky! Are you all right?" My voice betrayed my uncertainty as he reached me. He stopped for a second, his eyes wide, before he closed the distance between us with a kiss.
His action caught me by surprise, making me let out a soft gasp, which allowed him to deepen the kiss. I could tell we both got lost in it, forgetting we were in such a public place, but I was reminded of it as soon as I heard other pilots whistling around us, making me pull away from him. It was the first time he showed any physical affection towards me in public.
Before I could speak, he dug into his pocket, took my hand into his and raised it to his lips.
"Marry me." Was all he said after his lips brushed the back of my hand. All I could do was raise my eyebrows as my eyes grew wider, not able to form any words. I hadn't expected any of this. His eyes were slowly losing their confidence with each silent second that passed between us, so I pressed my lips against his again, in a chaste kiss that meant more than anything we'd shared before.
"John Egan, of course I'll marry you!" I finally managed to say as we pulled away. He raised his free hand to my cheek, to wipe the tears I hadn't realized started falling.
"I've been given three days leave. I've asked for you as well." I laughed at his words, which I could tell confused him terribly.
"You want to do it now?" I tried to keep my tone serious, but it was so out of nowhere, that I could barely stop my laughter. He nodded, looking away. "I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you, I just didn't expect this when I woke up today."
"Honestly, me neither. But I don't know when else we're going to find the time, and I want you to become Mrs. John Egan as soon as possible."
Five hours later, we were married and making our way through our friends, all dressed up in their formal military suits. I bought my dress from a small shop in the center of Cambridge -- the moment I laid my eyes on it, I knew it was going to be the perfect wedding dress.
Standing in front of the Chapel, Bucky put his arms around my waist, pulling me to him. He kissed me deeply, only breaking apart when we were out of breath. When we did so, everyone around us was clapping and whistling.
Buck, Bucky's best man, was taking pictures of us. We could hear the camera going off every other second, at this point we had at least twenty.
"Take pictures of Mrs. John Egan! Look how beautiful she is! I need to look at them when I'm in the air to remind myself that I hadn't dreamt this moment!" His words made me laugh, but I shook my head, ready to contradict him.
"Take pictures of us together, we'll have to show our kids someday what our wedding day looked like!" All my girlfriends started swooning over my words, and Bucky just nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck, whispering naughty words.
"The first kid better be named after me!" Buck said, putting the camera away.
"I quite enjoy the sound of that. What do you say, Mrs. John Egan? We should start practicing." I laughed, pushing him away, but he wrapped an arm around my waist and put the other under my knees, pulling me up, and carrying me to his jeep.

== Love Notes ==
Hey there lovelies! How's your week going? Are you feeling the buzz? There's been lots of news all over the world, some good, some bad, but it feels like a lot of stuff is starting to upturn, even if it's just a little. I've had a few things on my mind the last couple days and I wanted to get them out and send some love. This is a bit of a long one and it's gonna get a bit heavy, so please skip to below the === if you don't feel up for it.
CW: Intrusive Thoughts Sometimes your brain likes to tell you things that you don't really believe (or shouldn't) when things are hard. Sometimes it tells you, you're not good enough, or capable enough, or smart enough, or skilled enough, or you don't deserve good things. Sometimes it tells you things would be better for other people if you weren't around, if you quit your job, or ran away. Sometimes it tells you you don't belong where you are, for any array of reasons. Sometimes it tells you you're unforgivable, or incapable of change.
It's wrong, dearies. It's so very wrong. Your brain sometimes lies to you because it's been trained to do so. By society, by leaders, by people trying to shape you into their worldview. There's nothing wrong with you if it does, it's actually pretty darn normal to feel those things. We deal with so much anxiety in our day to day lives, and our bodies are still stuck on thousands of years of defence mechanisms, and it doesn't know how to cope with the constant micro-stressors we deal with in modern times.
So it learns and adapts to your environment. Your brain is so damn smart-- that it takes what it hears over and over and it turns that inward because it thinks that's what you need. What it doesn't know is that when life is crazy, and the world continues to be this chaotic black hole of unending bad news, it'll adapt and turn things more and more negative. That's why so many people do daily affirmations-- because you can train your brain to do AMAZING things. It takes a long time, and constant reminders, but eventually it gets easier. Toxic positivity isn't helpful, but when you have unending darkness coming in waves around you, sometimes even just a little candle of hope can keep that at bay, and eventually help break up the darkness itself.
============================= So today, I'm gonna push a couple affirmations... and they kinda show up already in my love notes here and there-- but I'd like you take a moment to say them out loud if you can, and take a deep breath in between them --Give yourself a little support for today.
I found some that speak to me here, but you can find them all over the place on the web if they don't speak to you.
----------------
I am still learning so it’s okay to make mistakes.
I am loved and worthy.
I alone hold the truth of who I am.
I belong here, and I deserve to take up space.
I am allowed to feel good.
---------------- You are all of those things Lovelies. You truly are. Do you know why I call you all "Lovelies" so often? Because that's the word that encompasses so much of the good in the world to me-- and that's what you are.
You are lovely, just the way you are.
You are wonderful just the way you are.
You are worthy, and you are loved, and I know sometimes it's so hard to remember that, but keep telling yourself that, and one day it'll come a lot easier. Sending so much love. You deserve so many good things lovelies, please remember that.

Severance being on AppleTV is so fucked up because 1. Y'know, famed workers' rights supporting company Apple. And 2. It's so goddamn good, everybody should watch it but who the fuck has AppleTV. Obviously you can pirate it, but that extra step still lowers the number of people who will watch it. And I need more people to watch it

ok, so my own final (and very, very fresh) thoughts, bc i wanted to wait until i'd watched everything to make a sweeping opinion of the whole series, and it's quite opinionated. and long. probably too long. i write essays for fun (everyone point and laugh):
my personal (and very, very fresh) ranking of the hbo war shows (not including gen kill bc that's a different war, sorry) goes- band of brothers > masters of the air > the pacific (it's the same for my title score rankings. that hasn't changed yet)
my main points of contention with MotA are 1) the nine episodes, 2) the length of the episodes, and 3) certain editing choices. nine episodes, compared to the classic ten, isn't Nearly enough time to showcase all that they wanna showcase (especially when the episodes are as short as they are, once you get past the recap and "next on" parts). and they wanna showcase A Lot! there so much going on! i'd ask them to pace themselves, but they literally Can't!
i mean, the editing choices are a Whole Thing! practically gives me whiplash sometimes lol. i feel like the weaker episodes still have parts that are Really good, but like. Individually. they don't work together as a stronger whole, which is to the episode's detriment. rather than jumping around (as the show often did), they could've benefited a lot from focusing on the One Story instead of squeezing three more stories into there (i say that, but i think the 4-5-6 episode run (all with multiple stories per episode) did this very well while Still being very good episodes, so it's not like it Can't be done, it just didn't work for 7, 8 and (partly) 9). granted, i suspect a chunk of the weird editing can be blamed on, well, there being only nine (and not all that long) episodes and no one wanting to cough up enough money for a tenth. ugh! i'm blaming both hbo And appletv for this (and covid19 ig). it's just One More Episode, how much could it cost?? and on the subject of episodes, why no episode titles? you used to love episode titles! i could've brainstormed episode titles for them For Free!!
when it comes to the characters, the rankings remain the same: BoB > MotA > TP. it's not totally fair tho, since BoB followed the exact same (and large-ish) group of guys from beginning to end, so you're Gonna know who they all are and get attached. this wasn't the case (for me!) when watching TP, since, unlike BoB, they jump around from group to group. i never felt like i got to know them all that well, outside of the main characters. i think MotA almost hits that sweet spot, especially knowing they had those two main things going against it: large cast And jumping from group to group. there's a case to be made for bias here (i Was the blog blogging about everything MotA for like. years.), but i still think they found a good enough balance of fleshing out the main characters while Also helping the audience get to know about a bunch of minor characters, of which there are a shitton (and their personalities, motivations, backgrounds, quirks).
there's also the representation of women. actual angel renée lemaire is and will always be a cut above the rest (bastogne is just That Good, argue with the wall). she's written so well that it almost makes me forget about how a bunch of women are portrayed in carentan. i have...issues with how women are portrayed in TP (even tho i love lena), so there's that. MotA falls in the middle (again) bc there's Way more women on-screen, but the writing can be questionable. balanced (as all things should be?) captain l'sandra wing-westgate is a character of all time, but episode 7 birthed the craziest discourse known to man (the hbo war fandom), but it wasn't all that unwarranted. manon and michou were sooo cool, but we didn't see nearly enough of them (another victim of the 'editing too many stories into one episode' problem. why not a whole resistance episode? or at least as the only b-plot?). paulina was interesting, but fulfilled one of those 'attractive foreign woman gives sage advice during/after sex' tropes (there's probably a tvtropes page for that idk). so many red cross girls, but none of the in-depth payoff :/ epic highs (multiple women!!) + epic lows (writing women??) = pretty tolerable. not great, not terrible. it was aight. i trust the fandom to build on this tho.
narrative is the big one tho. it's the whole "doing so much with so little" thing they've got going on (i'm ignoring their big budget here lol, could've been bigger). rather than having one main story with many connecting side stories (like BoB), it does the TP thing where there's many semi-connecting side stories set in the same general area. it helps that there's crosby's narration (i enjoy narration, sue me!), and he helps everything connect, sorta. but there's still other side stories that have Nothing to do with him (sandra's side gigs (revealing what she did takes away the mystery of what she Might be doing), the tuskegee airmen, quinn and bailey's eurotrip). would it have helped if there were two narrators (say, someone like rosie)? idk. gonna sit with that one. if there's a through-line, it's not super obvious like in the other two shows. which is insanely funny to me bc i literally like TP less, but that show's got an Extremely tight through-line all the way down. i can't lie and say it doesn't!
back to budget- i've seen people criticize this show for being called "masters of the air" when there's not much of "the air". ig that's fair, but there's the money issue, again. also, it'd get very repetitive if they were always in "the air". there was enough confusion about identifying who was who with the masks on, so imagine if that was Every Episode. out of All the issues the show has, this is the least issue-y. again, that's just my opinion, and it could change.
another budget thing (i think??)- idk enough about costuming and hair for period pieces so i can't comment on that with my 0 background in it, all i Can say is that i knoooooow people were clowning on marjorie cleven's hair in episode 1 (and i could see why, no such thing as 1940s beach waves). but from what i could understand- that actress' addition was a last-minute thing (bc i had No idea who the hell she was and i already found someone cast for marjorie all the way back in 2021). maybe there's something to say about the quality of rush jobs, but i really do think it was the most last-minute thing bc it came out of Nowhere, and timeline-wise, it looks like that bit was done long after everything else had been filmed. outside looking in, it seems something probably went wrong/didn't work out with who or what they already had and there wasn't enough wiggle room (time and money) to fix it. this isn't me being an apologist (lol), but i feel like a theorist at a big board bc nothing adds up! and i wanna know what happened! i'm just speculating! speculating on this blog is All i did for like Years lmaooo.
this is more of a side thing, but some of the lines in MotA feel really on-the-nose, almost corny. and that was Gonna be a knock against it, but there's some equally Extremely on-the-nose lines in both BoB and TP (Especially in BoB), so if i give MotA shit for it, i'd have to give all three shows shit for it lol. none of them are free of cheese.
another silly aside- no peaches, no main gingers, no main eugenes! we can't have 'em all, but c'mon!
there Is some good tho lol. one thing that MotA really has going for it, that i think the other shows have less of, is- and GOD it feels so weird to call this "world-building" when it's actual goddamn history, but- it's got world-building. maybe that isn't the best word for it. but i like how much Bigger ww2 feels in this show. BoB is one stop, then the next stop, then the next stop, which is, admittedly, good from a narrative-perspective (easy to follow), but not as good when you want a scale of how devastating the war is (in fairness, it was filmed in 2000). even TP feels pretty "enclosed" in a way. there's island-hopping, yeah, but all the damn islands look the same (not including australia lol). it's a theatre of the war we otherwise don't really get to see, but there still isn't all that much to see. it's water and sand and rock and dirt. which is the point, but Whatever! would've been cool if we saw sledge and co. in china, but moving on. MotA's able to really show the scale of it, both in the air and on the ground (that scene in germany during episode 6 was both harrowing and fantastic, also the inclusion of the actual children forced to fight nearer to the war's end in the finale). idk i just liked how it was able to zoom in and zoom out (and in and out again) in a way that the other shows weren't.
another thing it's got that the other shows don't is Really driving home how young everyone is (not "child soldier" young, but damn young). the cast is full of baby faces (rip babyface). a lot of ww2 shows/movies don't bother casting to reflect this, but i think overlooking that takes away from the overall impact. you browse through some old newspaper articles or photos of soldiers during ww2 enough and you're gonna Regularly get hit with the face of someone who looks like they could've sat in the desk next to you during a high school lit class. a lot of those b&w grinning faces look like kids bc they pretty much were (more so if they lied about their age). you don't really get that in BoB or TP (it's Crazy when the real life pics of the soldiers portrayed in those shows look younger than the actors).
i'm mixed about the tuskegee airmen. what we have, i love (thank you, dee rees). unfortunately, my biggest irk is that it leaves me wanting more of them, which i won't ever get. speaking as a black person (not speaking for All black people, just how i personally feel about it), having them included feels like a catch-22. if they weren't included in any capacity (all while knowing there were whole tuskegee airmen in stalag iii with the white main characters), there'd be a problem. however, including them (all while having these time constraints and not enough focus on them) leads to the feeling of having them "tokenized" (which i can see). there's no world where there'd be 50/50 split (even a 70/30 split) bc, at that point, just give them a show of their own. but there'd still be a general annoyance that big budget ww2 shows are only ever white. on the other hand, hanks and spielberg and orloff and miller and all the directors (except dee rees) are white, and how good of a story about black people are you really gonna get from the perspective of nonblack people? that in mind, i personally don't feel put-off by having the three tuskegee airmen in the posters/trailers/promos, bc i just Know there'd be a whole nother problem if they weren't included in them at all despite being in the show for however long (it'd be even worse if they made their pictures smaller). like i don't work in advertising, but i don't know if a "sweet spot" even exists for something like this. people would be pissed off no matter what imo (i'm also speaking with a bias here bc i had to browse through sooooo many comments written by white guys whining and crying and pissing and shitting themselves once they learned that the tuskegee airmen were gonna be in the show in Any capacity, so i'm just cool knowing they're in shambles rn (and josiah cross- he played richard macon- always goes Wild seeing his face in the promos, and his joy is pretty contagious).
i give it somewhere like a 7.5-8/10. 3.75 stars out of 5. not perfect, subject to change, gotta marinate, but i'm overall happy with it! MotA's best episodes are better than many other individual hbo war episodes. should i be grading it using the overall sum of its parts, not just the different parts? idk, i'm not being paid to grade lol.

AppleTV+ Ad// T.C.
Tumblr media
Warnings: smut and cursing
Timmy posted his little AppleTV+ advertisement commercial without telling you much about it. You were with him in L.A. when he was shooting it, but he didn’t tell you about it. He was just going to let you see the finished product and go from there.
You didn’t know what to expect, but it only took a couple of seconds into the video for you feel weak. He was beautiful, stunning even. Your boyfriend with his hair perfectly tousled, pretty clothes, and soft smooth skin. He looked so hot. You wanted to just eat him right up.
Tumblr media
You bit your lip, watching him fall onto his back on the mattress. His chest and and arms stronger and fuller looking now that he was getting older and he had just gotten back from filming Dune: Part Two. You imagined that he looked like that while you were sucking him off or when you were riding him. He then rolled over, half his face in the pillow and looked at the camera, saying, “Apple, call me?” He was so cute and pitiful in the final shot of the ad.
You were definitely hot and bothered now. Timmy wasn’t home, but you texted him just then, telling him to hurry home. He read your text and called you instantly. “Hello Timmy.” you answered cheerfully. “Wow. Judging from the way you answered just now, I guess it’s not an emergency?” you could practically hear him smirking through the phone.
"No, not technically an emergency, but I do need you to come home. Like as soon as humanly possible." you said, point blank. Timmy chuckled, "Okay, baby. I'm still at the store, but I'll be there in about twenty minutes?" "Okay, great. See you soon, Mr. AppleTV ad." you giggled cheekily. "Bye, baby. I love you." "I love you too, bye Timmy."
You tossed your phone onto the couch and rushed to your bedroom closet. You pilfered through your lingerie drawer, and picked out a new orange colored, lacy bra and thong set with matching stockings. After changing, you put on Timmy's favorite lotion of yours on your legs and arms, just to smell nice and have your skin extra soft and smooth. You fluffed out your hair in the bathroom mirror and dabbed on some lip gloss just for the heck of it.
After nearly twenty-five minutes and no Timmy, you were getting impatient. You decided to pass the time by enjoying your vibrator, just to get ready for Timmy. You were on your bed, legs open, vibrator pressed firmly on your clit, and you had the advertisement playing in your head.
You pictured your beautiful boyfriend's curly dark hair and green eyes, as well as his bare chest peeking out as he was wearing that red and black lace jacket in the car, him in the bathtub for the photoshoot, and you wishing you could have been in that tub with him, sans clothing.
You moaned, thinking about crawling on top of him and riding his long, thick cock. "Y/n?!" Timmy's voice hollered out, breaking you away from your lust-filled thoughts. "Bedroom! Come here, now!" "Okay, okay! I'm coming." you heard him say back as he walked down the hall to your shared room. You moved to the foot of the bed, and he couldn't hide the grin on his lips when he saw you.
"Babe, what is this about?" he stepped closer to the bed, putting his hands on either of your hips. He took a moment to eye your lingerie, and then looked into your eyes. "I saw the ad." you said, placing your hands on his arms, rubbing his muscles through his jacket and moving upward to his shoulders. "Yeah? You liked it?" Timmy asked, raising his brows, although he knew the answer to his question already.
You scoffed and rolled your eyes at him, "You are such a tease, Timothée Chalamet." You pulled on the front of his jacket, bring his lips to yours in a heated, messy kiss. You moaned, wanting him more and more by the second. "I am not a tease." he insisted, speaking between kisses. "Oh yes,” you pecked his lips, "you are. You knew what that commercial would do to me. That's why you didn't tell me anything about it."
You shoved his jacket off his shoulders. "You wanted to make me wait for it, didn't you, Chalamet?" You threw his jacket onto the floor and glared into his eyes. Timmy shrugged, and then bent down to your eye level, "So what if I did?" His big green eyes bore into, daring you to answer him. "So what huh?" you teased. You grabbed him by the shoulders, forcing him to turn and fall onto his back on the bed.
"So what if I wanna worship you after watching that? So what if I wanna suck your cock until you come? So what if I wanna ride your cock into oblivion, Timothée Chalamet?" You climbed on top of him, straddling his legs as you hastily unbuckled his belt and unbuttoned his pants. "Jesus Christ." he hissed between his teeth, and you saw him run his hand through his hair.
"I love you, Timmy, you deserve to be adored." you said, taking his semi-hard cock out of his undone pants. You wet your hand with your own spit and pumped him with your hands. "I'm the luckiest woman in the world, and I'll never take you for granted." you promised wholeheartedly and lowered yourself down to take him in your mouth.
You moistened his tip more with your saliva and tucked your teeth under your lips and ran your lips along his length. You took as much of him into your mouth as you could and sucked on his cock. You slurped and hollowed your cheeks, and used your hands to stroke the length that couldn't fit in your mouth. You swirled your tongue around him, looking him in the eyes and feeling every vein in his cock. Timmy's mouth hung open, and he alternated between that and biting his lip and moaning.
"Fuck, y/n, yes baby, yes." He whimpered. You let loose, just bobbing your head, letting his cock hit the back of your throat. No thoughts in your mind, just sucking Timmy. He was writhing in pleasure, and his cock was getting warmer. You took you mouth away, and you jerked him with your hand. Precum started to leak from his slit. "Give me your pussy, please." Timmy pleaded, weakly.
Without a second to waste, you moved upward along his body, hovered over his hard member, and sunk down on him as you moved your thong to the side. You felt his girth stretching you and you moaned deeply. Timmy quickly pulled his shirt off and threw it across the room somewhere and took ahold of your waist. Placing your hands on his now bare abdomen, you started bouncing on his cock.
You looked at Timmy under you, his head thrown back, eyes closed, chest heaving and abs flexing to your rhythm. His cock created friction inside of you and his tip pounded your cervix, but it was so good. “Tim, you’re a fucking god.” you whined, and clasped your hands onto his at your hips.
“Work your hips, my love. Fuck me.” he panted and gripped your sides more harshly. You moved your hips to and fro with his big hands. "That's it." Timmy praised, sliding his hands up to squeeze your breasts. After a bit, the numbness took over your lower half and your motion became sloppy and lazy, as you ran out of stamina. You were a whiny, breathy mess on top of him.
“You’ve been so good for me, baby girl.” Timmy cooed, caressing your face. “Now, let me." He rolled you over on your back, taking your legs and spreading them wide, tucking each knee around his waist. He held you firmly by the waist and rammed his cock into you hard and fast, and you were so wet that you could hear the slapping noise between you. You arched your back, turned your head to the side and let out screams of pleasure into your pillow.

Slow Horses
Fave viewing over the past few years has been SLOW HORSES on AppleTV+. A spy show with all the intrigues of a John le Carré novel, but if George Smiley was written as a sarcastic smart arse and every other spy was a downbeat comedian.
Tumblr media
River Cartwright chased by one of ’The Dogs’.
The show focusses on spies who’ve disgraced themselves, but for various reasons can’t be set free into the wild. We are led into this espionage backwater by an earnest young spy who has become persona non grata with Mi5. His efforts to get back into the slick world of Regent’s Park puts him at the heart of the action in the series. Though he’s from Mi5 royalty (as his grandfather used to head the organisation) he’s banished to a shabby facility called Slough House.
Tumblr media
Lamb uses his signature flatulent power-move on Taverner.
This kingdom of losers is ruled by Jackson Lamb, hilariously played by Gary Oldman. Famed for being a chameleon, Oldman is clearly having enormous fun here, playing this jaded old cold warrior, who doesn’t care any more. Lamb has let himself go physically, but is still mentally sharp enough to anticipate when he’s being setup. Which is often, and most likely by his Mi5 boss Diana Taverner (played with deadpan ice queen flair by Kristin Scott Thomas). Her disdain for the screwups of Slough House doesn’t stop her from using their services. These ‘Slow Horses’ are ostensibly kept on by ‘the service’ for menial jobs - filing and desk work - but they are sometimes caught up in intrigues too. Simply because Mi5 often needs fall guys.
Tumblr media
Shirley & Marcus pinned down by The Tiger Team.
Mi5 is portrayed as a world of grasping political climbers. The higher up the political totem pole, the more damehoods & knighthoods there are. But ruthless sociopaths abound too. More than willing to sacrifice their underlings if it advances their own interests, or covers up a blunder. The traditional baddies of spy stories are here, but rather than the Russians or international terrorists, domestic political dirty dealing is responsible for most of the body count.
Tumblr media
Min & Louisa surprise an intruder at Slough House.
For all their flaws, the Slow Horses have more decency than the ‘winners’. They are prickly & snarky characters, that are nevertheless likeable. A fave of mine is Roddy Ho, Slough House’s IT expert. His hilariously pompous dialog is brilliantly played to the smugly annoying hilt by Christopher Chung. Pint-sized firecracker Shirley Dander (Aimee-Ffion Edwards) and wily old school operative Catherine Standish (Saskia Reeves) are a couple of other faves, but honestly, all the characters have their moments.
Tumblr media
Roddy analyses the kidnap photo of Standish.
The show-runner is standup comedian & writer Will Smith, who manages to deliver laughs aplenty but also real drama. Main characters can die, and probably when you’d just learned to love them. We enjoyed watching this show so much that, after finishing the 3rd season, we RE-watched the entire thing, and were entertained even more the 2nd time.
Tumblr media
Jackson Lamb has an ice cream.
Having just exhausted all the viewing options available, Julia & I just began the book series that the show is based on, by Mick Herron. Though many details differ, the books are remarkably similar to the TV series, tonally. Added background details to the characters & plots make them enjoyable even after seeing the show. Hopefully they will feed us enough Lamb until season 4 drops at the end of 2024.

Months were passing by, some quicker than others, and my condition worsened at times, particularly when I found myself without any updates from Lia for more than a couple of days. Despite my attempts to convince myself otherwise —ignoring Grandma’s speculations and theories— there was an undeniable correlation. Whenever Lia was around, I couldn’t deny that I felt much better. The persistent cough subsided, the fever abated, and the general malaise faded, if only temporarily.
A week before Thanksgiving, I awoke to a text from Lia, and we exchanged messages for about ten minutes before she went offline.
Twenty minutes later, the doorbell rang and when I opened the door, there she was, all fresh and lovely while I was still in my pjs and trying to adjust my eyes to the bright light of the day.
Jesse and Jolly were absent until December first, so I was alone in the house with my music and my coughed-up flowers. Mitch was also on tour with the band he worked for, which possibly explained Lia’s unexpected visit, a radiant smile on her face as she conveyed that she was there to make sure I didn’t die.
“Very funny,” I mumbled as I let her in.
She pecked my cheek and headed towards the kitchen, her jasmine scented perfume leaving a trail from the door to wherever she went. She asked if I had already had my breakfast. I hadn’t.
“Perfect,” she replied, cheerful. “I brought some things from that bakery that Jolly loves so much. You can send him a picture and make him a little jealous.”
“That looks too much for breakfast,” I said, frowning at the three bags full of foil containers and little brown packagings she was depositing on the kitchen island.
“I also brought lunch,” she said while taking off her coat. “I know it’s early, but it’s been a while since we treated ourselves and I know you probably haven’t been cooking much if you were sick, so…”
She looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes. So, what could I say?
Her gaze swept over the clean surfaces of the kitchen. Everything was cleaner than usual. Jolly wasn’t one to spend much time cleaning, even after years of sharing a living space and countless arguments about keeping the dirty dishes in the dishwasher instead of leaving them in the sink.
“But we should prepare something healthy for dinner, if you’re feeling ok, of course.”
“I’m okay,” I replied, peering into the containers she’d brought. Besides from a crazy number of pastries and sandwiches, Chinese. She definitely knew how to spoil me.
When I said that, my tone unintentionally carried a nuance I hadn’t meant to express. I was fine, really, happy to have her home, especially with Mitch miles away and unable to keep her away from me. Lia, however, must have sensed something else and had other thoughts racing through her pretty head.
After devouring breakfast and spending a while together in the studio, working on the production of a couple new songs, we had lunch, and straight after cleaning up and sorting out the recycling, we settled on the sofa, our knees lightly brushing. I pulled a coin from my pocket, flipping it to decide between horror movies or fantasy. Lia chuckles as my choice emerged victorious. Retrieving the remote from the coffee table, I scrolled through the new fantasy releases on AppleTV.
Focused on removing the subtitles from The Green Knight, I felt Lia’s intense gaze fixed on me. She had been staring for at least two long minutes.
“What?” I inquired. “Do I have something on my face?” I lightly touched the side of my face.
“No,” she replied, suppressing a giggle. “I just wanted to say that I’m sorry I missed your birthday this year.”
Ah, so this was the internal struggle she’d been battling herself for since arriving. It was obvious because of the way she’d been behaving; something was gnawing at her, likely guilt. Lia had never missed any of my birthdays since we first became friends, except the year I turned eleven. She’d been bedridden with a severe cold. Even then, she had fought to come, but Cristina forbade her to leave the house. Probably one of the only good things she ever did for her daughter.
Though I wasn’t sure if her intentions had been for her daughter to get better or to just keep her from enjoying other kids’ company.
This year marked the second time Lia had missed my birthday. I pretended not to care, but I had gone to bed drunker than usual, and I couldn’t lie to myself; deep down, I couldn’t deny that it stung not having her there, making me laugh and getting constant hugs and cheerful compliments as we moved around the house to the rhythm of music playing through the speakers. The worst part had been that she wasn’t there because she was with her boyfriend.
Frowning, I reassured her, “You don’t have to apologize for that.” I genuinely didn’t blame her. We hadn’t made any pact to never miss each other’s birthday, after all, and Lia was building a life beyond the cocoon of our childhood and friendship. She had every right to do so. “You know I don’t really like celebrating it, anyway. The guys came home, and we just,” I shrugged, “got drunk. You didn’t miss anything.”
She hummed in response, appearing dissatisfied with my answer. Grabbing a folded blanket from the pile on the sectional, she covered her legs, removing her UGG boots and casually kicking them away with her feet.
I wanted to ask her then about her drinking habits. I wasn’t spending that much time with her anymore and I didn’t know how she was doing; if it was getting worse or if she was trying to keep it down. She didn’t look like she was in the right mood to discuss that that day, and the movie started before I gathered the courage to start the conversation. I decided it was best to avoid it for the day and I let the topic slide away.
Midway through the movie, Lia got up to prepare some afternoon tea. When she returned, she nestled beside me, ensuring her arm and shoulder pressed against mine as she warmed her hands around the steaming mug.
Fifteen minutes before the movie’s end, her phone buzzed, and her expression dimmed upon seeing Mitch’s name and number on the screen of her iPhone.
“Can you pause it for a sec? I need to get this.”
“Sure,” I said.
She excused herself outside, sliding the balcony door almost closed. I took the chance to go to the kitchen and fetch a bag of chips. On my return back to the sofa, I inadvertently overheard Lia’s muffled conversation through the glass, a gentle breeze coming in from the cold temperature outside.
“Yeah, of course. No, I’m just out with some friends. Yeah, we might be late. I will call you when I’m in bed.”
I wasn’t sure if she called him or not that night, but what I did know what that she stayed the night with me. We set up the pullout sofa in the studio and I borrowed her one of my t-shirts. We cooked dinner together and had breakfast outside the next morning.
There was a comforting familiarity in falling back into the routine we once had when we lived together. Silly domestic activities, such as preparing a meal together, passing each other things in the kitchen, one washing, the other drying up, and then letting ourselves fall in the sofa and settling comfortable with our skin touching as if it were the most natural thing between best friends.
By the end of the movie we chose to watch at night, Lia’s head rested on my shoulder, and her hand lay peacefully on my knee under the blanket. A pang of desire surged within me as the credits started rolling and she looked up at me with sleeping eyes, batting her eyelashes. I couldn’t ignore how fucking gorgeous she was. When she rubbed her eyes, I saw my eight-year-old best friend, sitting cross-legged in my grandparent’s spare mattress in my childhood bedroom, the first time she stayed the night.
We exchanged a few comments about the two movies we had watched that day, Lia annoying me with her persistent admiration for Dev Patel’s features and the way his brown eyes sparkled in that one scene and some other bullshit. She laughed at my expression and kissed me goodnight before she called it a night.
I stayed in the living room, gazing at the empty hallway, absorbed in the memory of her sleepy walk towards the bathroom. I pondered why she had lied to Mitch, why she hadn’t told him that she was with me. I hoped that it wouldn’t lead to trouble. I cherished these moments with her and would give anything to enjoy them forever, but not at the cost of jeopardizing her well-being.

Dancing; Robert “Rosie” Rosenthal
__________
Fandom: HBO/AppleTV War; Masters of the Air
A/N: Obviously I had to cook something up for my man Rosie. This is my 2nd MOTA piece, and I’m still trying to find my footing in writing these guys. But could y’all tell I’m sticking to a short word count? My goal is 300 words on the dot, so if it ever feels like the end weird it’s bc I’m still figuring it out. Just trying to maintain realistic goals for myself :)
Warning(s): none i think, a lil angsty there at the end
Prompt: Dancing
__________
Rosie had a natural rhythm, like there was a melody playing in his head for only him. His walk was a foxtrot, light and fluid. His ever bouncing knee was a jive in his chair—clear to anyone that he'd rather be up and in action. The way he flew was a perfectly choreographed waltz with the wind.
And his actual dancing? You'd have thought he wrote the song with the way he flowed with the music. Spinning and dipping at just the right moments. Swaying you along while you did your best to anticipate where he was leading you. Even the more intimate songs had you giggling in his embrace.
"You sure are light on your feet , Lieutenant. I thought you said you were a lawyer."
He flashed his wide grin, cheeks giving his nickname a whole new meaning. "I am, I was-ah. Yes. I also grew up in a family of musicians, and while I could never quite make any of my own music, I did learn how to make the most out of other people's."
"Well, you seem to have put in the work. I don't think I've ever had a better dance partner."
And then it was as if someone had pulled the needle off the record prematurely. He had anticipated going and going until they no longer needed him, but three missions in, he and his crew were sent on something akin to a vacation. All of his momentum came to a halt, and it was like downing multiple shots of espresso to visit an art museum. He needed to be moving with a purpose, not lounging—reflecting.
“I’m fine.”
He insisted this to himself as well, as if it didn’t feel as though the band had stopped in the middle of his dance.

@lamentus1 has provided us with a lot of great information for UK folks, please check out the following:
The fact that there’s a huge audience for this show that hasn’t even been able to watch the 2nd season yet - to illustrate the fact that there’s a huge untapped market because more than third can’t watch it season 2 yet (we can use the Tumblr poll, and there’s that map as well, both good for illustrating the point).
Focusing on the UK talent in the show inc: Ewen Bremner, Joel Fry, Samson Kayo, Nathan Foad, Kristian Nairn & Con O’Neill. Minnie Driver too. They or shows they have been in may have their own fandoms we can tap into.
It's also apparently a good idea to mention you're British in your tweets if you're reaching out to @netflixuk Thanks! @libbyroseitm

If you wanna talk about the shows creativity, feel free to reference Ra Vincent's site, he was the Production Designer for OFMD. Great inspiration and pictures to use to show off to the networks.
It's also helpful for Amazon to show them the international reach

Existing Prime subscribers, you can access a Suggestions/Feedback form on the Prime Video app in the Settings > Help & Feedback section. The form is automatically tied to your Prime account, not sure if that makes any difference compared to anonymous feedback.

3. Platform/Article Engagement
HBOMax
A lot of countries don't have HBO max, but if you do and you can already watch Our Flag Means Death on them, please still go ahead and stream Our Flag Means Death, it keeps up engagement and numbers.
Search Our Flag Means Death on Netflix
If you have Netflix, after your search, stream the first title that comes up for a few minutes.

I'm probably gonna add a "running article list" somewhere, I'll update when I do.

Obviously don't feel like you have to purchase anything for the campaign, this is just in case you're looking for sources to watch. Amazon DE (Germany) Apple DE (Germany)
