On the way to Triple Crown

The second competition leading to triple crown has taken place on February 25-26, the NCA National Championship. Im going to cover my favorite division in detail, including the teams, their scores, and routines.

The Large Senior Level 6 Division has 4 teams, and is one of the most well known divisions, as well as one of the most competitive divisions. The teams in this division consist of Senior Elite from Cheer Extreme, Panthers from Cheer Athletics, Shooting Stars from World Cup, and Orange from Stingray Allstars. Out of 100, the scores of these teams are as follows.

Senior Elite - 98.5 Highest score of the entire competition, Grand Champions

Panthers - 97.52

Shooting Stars - 96.79

Orange - 95.85

Senior Elite hit both days of the competition, while the other teams in the division had some deductions, making them the NCA Grand Champions. None of these teams are in the running for Triple Crown because Orange won Cheersport, and Senior Elite won NCA. Any of these teams would of had to win both of those competitions to stay in the running.

Senior Elite is the team I keep up with and follow the most, and because of that I know they also won this competition last year, making them back to back NCA champions.

Sooooo TGLC only lost to Stringrays Steel today by 2/10 of a point! Im so proud of them! Stingrays have been basically cleansweeping the divisions for years. And they still are but still- I bet TGLC made Steel sweat today waiting for scores. But Steel got the bid to Worlds. I really hope TG finds a way to get their bid. Im worried that Covid took too many opportunities already.

I love both Steel and TGLC, they’re the only ones I actually wanted to watch compete this weekend so Im glad they both did so well

Me when I’m watching Allstar cheer and a team from stingray allstars hit their routine

A fun fact about me is that I am actually a cheerleader. I cheer at my high school, but love keeping up with the all star cheer world and their competitions. The month of April is huge for all star. Both The Summit and Worlds is held towards the end of the month. Coincidentally, Worlds is happening right now. While the event doesn't officially end until tomorrow, they have already crowned a few champions in certain divisions. The way Worlds and Summit work is that lower level teams go to Summit and levels 5-7 go toWorlds. There are so many different divisions within these levels. For example, you can have an all girl team or coed. Team sizes are also another category, there's x-small, small, medium, and large. The age category is also what classifies them in a certain division. If you ever see a reference to the LAG division, this means that the teams in the division are Level 6 Senior Large All Girl. If you're on Cheer TikTok, you've probably heard Senior Elites stunt music from a few years ago. You’ve also probably heard World Cup Shooting Stars dance music. The sayings #SE4L or #OC4L all refer to these teams sayings and it represents their fan base. LAG is probably one of the most competitive divisions in all star cheer. There are 4 teams in this division, all equally matched if they hit. Cheer Extreme Senior Elite, World Cup Shooting Stars, The Stingray AllStars Orange, and Cheer athletics- Plano Panthers. Orange won worlds last year with the other teams following closely behind. Many people are split on who they want to win this year because of the people on the team. Ryan Cummings is a name you might have heard of before if you know anything about cheer. She is aging out of her team this year and since it's her last worlds, many people want her to win and get the ring she so deserves. Some divisions started yesterday and finished today. While others started today and will finish tomorrow. The LAG division is one that'll finish tomorrow. Maybe we'll have a new champion tomorrow.

Welcome to My BLOG!! 💕

Hi everyone (:

I wanted to kick off my first blog post by introducing myself! My name is Milan Johnson, and I grew up in Kennesaw, Georgia alongside my awesome parents and two siblings. Being southern raised, I come from huge family meals, most warm days spent by the pool or lakeside, and “the more the merrier.” Most of my life growing up was consumed by cheerleading. Throughout high school I was a part of both the Varsity Sidelines and Varsity Competition team. Along with that, I cheered Allstar at a gym called Stingrays. Between all three teams, most of life was consumed with schoolwork and practice.

Thankfully, as high school came to an end, I was accepted into The University of South Carolina where I would eventually join Greek life as a member of Delta Delta Delta. Through my sorority I have gained so many new friends and have made great connections. Nowadays, in my free time I enjoy reading, working out, tanning, online shoppingggg, and traveling. Without any of these things, I wouldn’t be myself!

My goal within this blog is to share my weekly “favorites,” which could be anything from me talking about my top products to my top favorite places to travel. Along with “favorites,” I would also like to share weekly motivation through scripture. Living through Jesus is the only way to live!! I am constantly reading blog posts and watching Tik Tok posts where influencers share their personal favorites and spiritual motivation and I would love to do that for you guys! Hope you guys enjoy!
