Susan Long-Walsh knows we all have a role in changing how we think and subsequently act, concerning how we care for, treat, and include one another in life, especially in the workplace. “And I, I can poison the skies.”

Brielle Clearwater had grown up amongst the members of the Woods Clan for as long as she could remember. For years she had been trained to become a fearless warrior, always being taught to fight her enemies and do everything she possibly can to steer clear of the mountain men and reapers.

And for the longest while, those two distinct groups were the only ones she ever had to fear. That is, until the sky people came soaring down onto Earth, and into their territory. Battle lines had been drawn since the moment they arrived, and since then, Bri had found her morals swaying ever so slightly.

She was able to tell that what her people were doing was wrong, but when she was being trained to take over the role of second in command, she was unable to argue with what was occurring. Now with her friend, Lexa, being in command, she was now second in position.

And the weight of her people was now lying heavily upon her shoulders.
