Hey Tigerfoot, Spottedstem, how do you feel about that newbie Bluestar brought into the Clan? (@stonefall-wc)

Spottedstem: He's a natural learner, despite being very naive in how we clan cats do things, he's shaping up to be a valuable asset for the clan

I know many view him less for being a kittypet, I hope he appreciates how much I'm helping with the rumors, despite being a kittypet he'll become a fine warrior someday. I couldn't be happier we'll get three competent warriors soon.

Tigerfoot: He's a kittypet, sooner or later, they'll run back to their soft homes and leave us...

I feel foolish, I should've known Bluestar would've gone and searched for someone as soon as I told her the omen... Why couldn't I have thought of something else???

Hey Kestrelpaw, how's the prey running in WindClan? I hope it's not too intrusive, but what's your relationship like with the other WindClan apprentices? Do you like your fellow oracle apprentices much? Are you excited to get to know Jaypaw? (stonefall-wc)

"Welllll," Kestrelpaw began as he stretched out and kneaded the ground. "I'm just glad leafbare is about to end, you know? I just can't with the skinny rabbits anymore. Not only are they not filling enough, they also come with this chewy texture to them. Eugh.

"Just today I was sharing the most pathetic looking one ever with my brothers. Antpaw was sulky because it was Harepaw who caught it. He claimed it was the snow that slowed him down and that Harepaw simply got lucky. He's usually so much better than that.

"Thankfully Harepaw isn't the combative type. He conceeded on that point quickly and then we carried on with the story. It was then that Antpaw revealed he'd sprained his paw but kept going anyway. That alarmed me immediately and I ran right back to the medicine den.

"I was gonna try taking care of my brother's injury myself but Barkface just took charge of it and instructed me to observe and learn." He deflates at that a little bit.

"Oh the other apprentices?" he asks. "They're alright, I suppose. Breezepaw can be a bit much sometimes, but when he's not in a mood he is fun. Just out of the nursery so he still has that rambunctious kit energy. And although Antpaw and Harepaw don't really like hanging out with Heatherpaw, I think they're a bit harsh on her. They'd be the same if we were Onestar's sons I bet.

"Oh! And there's the older apprentices too! I don't really talk with them too much..." He trails off at that, before perking back up with the next question.

"Willowpaw is sooooo smart and cool!" he says. "She helps me sometimes with learning oracle stuff. Much nicer than Barkface just snapping at me with impatience. And she always has fun stories about the apprentices in RiverClan.

"That Jaypaw fellow... I'm still feeling him out. I hope he and Willowpaw can get along, despite how much she annoyed him. I'm hoping he isn't that frowney all the time. He's pretty for a ThunderClan cat, and a smile would compliment that much better."

Irt that last poll you rb'd, there's something about the 'theoretically, he's chaste as fuck, but I know him so I can't say he's virtuous in any particular manner' that is so fucking funny to me (@stonefall-wc)

Bee Balm: What is your favorite Super Edition or novella?

Crowfeather's Trial and Tallstar's Revenge take it easily. It's hard to say which one I like more because they're so different, but I think they're prime examples of the two kinds of standalone Warriors novel: middle-of-existing-action and prequel. They both add color and depth to known characters without introducing plot holes and problems.

Chrysanthemum: If you were a cat, what would your clan and rank be?

ThunderClan (senior) warrior! Nothing fancy. If my name was ever floated for deputy I'd go start shit at the border until that talk stopped.

Iris: Name your top three favorite ships and your top three least favorite ships.

It's so hard to pick a top 3 ships. BrambleFire, FireTiger, and LionBerry are the three I've spent the most time thinking/talking about actively. But there's also BrambleHawk, BaySun, LionAsh. Not to mention all the poly ships? So so many that I like...

As for least-favorite ships, I don't know. I love all ships. I tend to think of FireSand as being BFFs who have a little together (or do they, Mr. Sharpclaw? :3c) so I guess you could say I dislike that "ship." It's canon, though, so is that even a "ship"?

Bramblepath’s more reserved sister, Stonefall. She left Thunderclan to live with her father in Windclan. She is fiercely proud, and to prove her loyalty, took a Windclan mate and birthed two litters. One in each. The oldest, Lionpaw, and the youngest, Tigerkit.

Wc!Cob story stuff that has no connection to anything that happens in crushed olive branch so i can actually talk about it-

since the journey to become a leader is so long as they have to go all the way to the sea to commune with Starclan, Stonefall is technically “leader” but has not been able to receive her nine lives because she is heavily pregnant and it would be unsafe for her to make the journey. Which is why she has not taken on the -star suffix. She picked out the next deputy (Thornstripe) but is now simply waiting to have her kits and get them weaned before she goes.

A lot of the clan is super anxious about this because, like, if Stonefall were to die for whatever reason, she wouldn’t have another life to come back to, as WELL as how long of a wait it is to not have a starclan approved leader. Some cats in the clan think it’s stupid that she’s putzing around and not going (blackberryhop and stagbeetle specifically) but others are like. what the fuck are you talking about if she has her kits outside of camp who knows what could happen (mainly Cardinalscar and Stonefall’s mate Daisycurl). and the clan is really antsy to HAVE more kits in general. So they’re just kinda locked in this standstill.

The clan is also really pushing Olivemoor and Lakeshimmer together. because again, they want more kits. currently there are no apprentices in the clan and that’s making everyone nervous. Which Olivemoor is willing to give it a shot but Lakeshimmer is like. barely interested at all if even a bit hostile to the idea

Hey everyone in the wcrp community, just giving a heads up to avoid @ broken—awakenings for the reasons down below. Be aware that there will be subjects such as racism, incest, and age gaps/pedophillia below.

I have attempted to contact the mods, but have been ignored. So has my friend.

1. Incest allowed in-roleplay

Yep, you read that right. Broken awakenings allows incest to be roleplayed in the roleplay and has even written about how tolerant each clan is of incest. This is, uh…Yeah, this should just not be in a wcrp at all.

2. Racist stereotypes

One of the clans wear bones and “might be cannibals”, does that remind you of something? Yep, it’s native american stereotypes babey! We’ve been through this stuff again and again, yay!

3. Mod(s) ship large age gaps and/or pedophillia

The following are from mod Stonefall-wc/Dantelupine’s blog and AO3.

Not to mention the post that was reblogged on the rp blog today.

4. Religious executions in-rp??

One of the clans, Hollowclan, will literally execute cats that don’t believe in Starclan. This is awfully close to religious executions that still happen to this day, and such subjects should not be in the hands of people like this.

So far, the two mods we know the mains of are stonefall-wc/dantelupine and just-like-beart. Avoid and block these accounts and the wcrp blog, we don’t need nor tolerate stuff like this in the wcrp circle.

Hey Jaypaw, how are you enjoying your training so far? I know you're pretty new, but is there anything you particularly enjoy? How did your siblings and parents respond to your swap to oracle training? I also heard Littlecloud mention Tawnypelt's kits--are you curious about your ShadowClan kin at all? (@stonefall-wc)

"Leafpool hasn't taught me much, she's been very reluctant on taking me on. I had been badgering her ever since the dream with Yellowfang a half-moon ago, the same night Hollypaw quit, but..." he replied with a sigh. "The way she just... stands there, looking at me. I swear, her sadness clings to her like the smell of foxdung."

He pauses as he hears the next question out of Spottedleaf and flickers his ears in annoyance. He didn't think the questions she had in mind were gonna be like this. "Squirrelflight was like that too. She asked me a moon's worth times and then some if I was completely, absolutely sure. She'd done this with Hollypaw too, but not to this extent."

His whiskers drooped as he began to dwell on that. To an extent he'd been happy to hear his mother's encouragement to keep working with Brightheart and her offers to help out in their training sessions. But it did sting a little that she was clearly trying to discourage him in this decision so much moreso than for his sister.

"Bramblestar was more enthused about it, at least, I guess that's a positive..." Yet another thing he had mixed feelings about. His father had practically leaped at the news of him wanting the apprenticeship under Leafpool. That was something he'd always advocated for and argued with Leafpool about, much as he wanted to keep it secret.

It was no secret that, in the precious few times he and his siblings had gotten the busy leader to pay attention to and play with them, he was always treated as the most fragile. Runt of the litter and blind to boot. If he was to take on a respected position within the Clan as the leader's son, as he ought to, everyone expected it to be this.

"I suppose I have always wanted to meet Tawnypelt in person," he said at the last question. "Dad is always talking so fondly about her. I wonder if she'll be there next gathering..."
