New Discord Server!

Hello again everyone! I know that this account has been quiet for quite a while, and I thank everyone for the patience and consideration, especially over the last couple months! As I start to pick myself up again, I have decided to make a Discord server for my content! Anyone is welcome to join! I’ll be using this server to put up more WIPs, stream artwork, and work on growing my business! I hope that as the server grows, I can also expand on member perks and more giveaways as well! Phil: The last time I got like, legitimately fckin' angry on stream was when my- my Egg child died. Sorry– my two Egg children died in a really dumb way, and I got genuinely pissed off. And that was– that was the last time I got like, visibly mad.

Sneeg: Dude, that sht looked stressful. That server looked stressful with- with the Egg stuff.

Phil: It was! Mhmm. It fckin was, it was like, crazy! I got to meet a lot of really cool people, so I'll always just be thankful for that, and not just think about the stressful times, like...

Discord servers shouldn’t replace the online fandom experience, and that’s coming from someone who runs one and loves it and its members very very much.

You will get a lot out of striking up a conversation with your favourite blogs/accounts and commenting on their posts. Please don’t think you’re being a bother by doing that. Please don’t follow the ongoing trend of privately praising people’s work with your friends and never letting the creator know! Please don’t think it’s been too long since something was posted to be able to comment on it.

I promise this will lead to a better fandom experience on any platform. It’s what it’s all about - connecting with people over things you mutually love.

It really is just- Lifesteal does the whole meta/out of character/cc vs c!, thing different than anyone else. What really shocked me initially when getting into ls was how often they talked about “content”. About doing stuff purely for the video, how “so and so ruined the ending of my video”. And I don’t say that as a bad thing, just coming from the streaming-based dsmp, lore based empires smp, short video series traffic, and prison escape/debunks, it was a complete shock.

Nobody talks about it, as much as them. Maybe post-dsmp people talk about bts more, and sure Scarlet Pearl from double life wouldn’t have happened if Pearl wasn’t forced to record at 5am her time, but noone else talks about it so openly.

It’s like- early on, I watched Vitalizys s4 stuff, and, he fully ends that one video with the conclusion being him irl talking to the viewer. No more c!Vitalizy trying to save the server, just Vitalizy being affected by the sever. And that was it, that was the conclusion to his lore-based Minecraft video ! Thats crazy ! And now we have the other half of purple duo doing things that can only be fully explained by ooc motivations. There’s no way to talk about the Warden arc without acknowledging that Subz wasn’t acting in character for like any of that.

I don’t have much of a conclusion to this, it’s just something that’s been rumbling around my head since I first started watching streams. You literally can’t talk about like Abyss without acknowledging it was about inactivy on the server that they’re all playing on, that they’re content creators playing on. You can’t talk about PB and J and Bfb without talking about server equitte which is also an ooc thing. Idk, even the exploits even the whole Youtube narrative vs what actually happened on stream. It’s impossible to talk about lifesteal in this rigid box of canon vs not. It’s all canon, or nothing is, or it just doesn’t matter.

Absolutely losing my mind over Scar’s stream today

He was already talking to Etho while catching ocelots

Joel logs in and Scar immediately asks if Etho wants to go visit him

We get so many Etho lore crumbs (although he doesn’t fully confirm anything except having stubble and trying to get rid of 2 extra house generators)

They hang out for like 2 hours doing nothing hut chatting

Eventually Scar leaves but forgot that he left his ocelots at Etho’s because he was so excited about boat boys that he never brought them home
