She was gone. The stability in his life was no more. Bruce felt himself crumble and break under the strain. No kisses to give. No love to keep. He couldn't even bring himself to go to her funeral. No.

One year on and Bruce has let the Hulk dominate his life. His anger and emotions knows no bounds. He destroys and wrecks and creates havoc. So much so that the others are beginning to get concerned for the well being of others. He's a mess. He's always been okay so long as Betty was in the world. 

He's travelling too. Never staying long enough to be found and taken down. Ross is after him. So is Tony. 

Five years later and Tony has found him, worn out, no Hulk left in him, he's become numb to all the emotions he has left and as a result cannot turn any more. 

He's suicidal to the brink of starving himself to death. Alone and cold Bruce is going mad with mourning.

10 years later and he's in recovery. Betty is still a constant reminder of what his life could be like, but he's getting better. His numbness has kept the Hulk at bay and he's glad for it, but he feels empty. Like the last piece of his worth was destroyed.

where do you get your icons

Credit for 99.9% of the Joel gif icons I’m using goes to studdedmuses, who is such a sweetheart for making ‘em. 

Everything else (including the Lucille Bluth gif icons) were made by me, which involved a lot of time screaming at both youtube and photoshop for being dumb. I don’t exactly mind others using ‘em since I like seeing my hard work being put to good use, but I’d appreciate if you told me and credited me first!
