Hello, I am wildly overwhelmed with homework and want to drop out of college this very minute but if I did I would not get any refund and so I will sacrifice my sanity to get my money’s worth of unsatisfactory online based education and then I SHALL NEVER GO BACK.

Gosh I’m looking forward to working retail and dealing with jerk-face customers every day until the day I die. And I say that without an ounce of sarcasm.

Having been a retail floor supervisor for three years, I miss it. Turns out office jobs and university educations really aren’t for everyone! If you want to go to college good on ya! Enjoy! If you (like me) go to university, graduate, get a job in your field and a year in realize YOU HATE IT, that’s okay too!! You can change your mind! Go back to school, go back to retail, get a job at a greenhouse, the post office, or as a janitor! (Fr, janitorial has literally been my favourite job to date and if there were more daytime janitorial jobs I’d go back to that, but working overnights ain’t my jam lol)

I just think the societal pressure that shoves kids into post-secondary and deciding what field to work in for the rest of their life at age seventeen is... just like a bad idea? Trust your gut. You’ll put more into your job or school if your heart is in it, whatever role you choose to pursue and however educated you need to be to do it.

After finishing this stint of post secondary in April my goal is to get a job in a book store or at a library #thedream
