- It's the part where Trunks doesnt pull his punch enough against Mr Satan

- I think for a bit about what the world would look like to you if nudging a man meant throwing him into a brick wall (common train of thought among dragon ball fans)

- I remeber a comic by stupiddoomdoodles (was that the url...? Something like that) in which Trunks as an adult tries to ask his father for advice on how to not, like, accidentally kill a woman when you're...?

- I say outloud "Yeah if Goten and Trunks dont learn how to pull their punches then how are they gonna- they cant- how are they going to meet girls? Yknow? Like what if they want to meet girls? Yknow? Like they would put their hands on her and she would explode."

- my mother who has had the patience to sit through the entirely of the original dragon ball and DBZ Kai up to this point: "I guess they're just going to have to fuck each other then."

Like that old classic fake tumblr post where one user was saying that their Christian father approved of johnlock. Only it's real and my mom is just like that.

She was like "that makes sense right? it makes sense." and I had to be like "Yeah I guess it makes sense ................."

Since you're familiar with the Dragon Ball franchise how do you feel about the whole debate surrounding Super Saiyan blue versus Super Saiyan 4? I don't know if that debate is still going strong but years ago it was kind of a big deal

since ive never interacted w english-speaking dbz content/fandom before this year (besides reblogging stupiddoomdoodles' vegebul comics when i was like 14) i have no idea what ur talking about but i can tell you that i think ssj blue has a boring and lazy design as well as a stupid concept from what they said in the frieza movie (a super saiyan god..who is now a super saiyan.. despite already being called a super saiyan GOD.. so like a super saiyan super saiyan god?). and i think ssj4 is rly cool looking and a much better design (completely unbiased bc i watched like virtually nothing of gt as a kid), specially bc of the monkey aspects i wish they'd incorporate more into saiyan transformations. ssj god is like, fine bc it wasnt supposed to devolve into a whole other dragon ball series from what i know, like it was fine for Just One Movie but i also really wish they would've done something a bit cooler and w monkey aspects preferably (while shen long talked of the ssj god origin the imagery was all ozaru sooo).

Shit I should have known the VegeBul community is full of garbage people, considering so many of them like fanartists who admittedly make their shit OOC like Stupiddoomdoodles, cry when you talk about how terrible of a person Vegeta was pre-Buu Saga (and how he definitely wasn’t a virgin before he met Bulma, and not because he loves consent), and constantly make fights with the equally cancerous GoChi community for stupidass reasons

The worst part is that most of this community that acts this way are 25+ years old

At least when I dealt with this shit in other fandoms it was a bunch of obnoxious 14-year-olds

Omg I totally forgot about this ask but well yeah I don’t know exactly why but I think she actually deleted it now. Before she has put it on private because she got a lot of hate and pressure on her tumblr. She is still on twitter though!

Do you have any idea why Stupiddoomdoodles left the DBZ fandom? I thought there was some drama that suddenly led to them deleting all their social media but idk

I just heard that the reason was that she was critisized a ton. Her art not being ‘correct’, name-calling and stuff

Oh boy a bunch of notes from random people just because I stated an obvious fact. Man, I forgot how needlessly defensive fandoms are about fanartists. Haven't really dealt with that since I tried to explain to stupiddoomdoodles that the characters in DBZ are Chinese and the existence of dinosaurs doesn't change that

And can I just add that every time Dooms draws the characters with different skin tones and ethnicity and what not, they are part of her AU’s that her followers participate in to create these headcanons?

Like, why does it matter. It’s clearly an AU. It’s not meant to change the source material. It’s called having fun.
