I had the pleasure to experience the modern Thai cuisine at @lannathai.to a short while back, and I have to say I was impressed. The flavours were quite nice with an elevated touch from the head chef @timchen4485, who personally had spent time studying and working in Thailand, and at Michelin-starred restaurants. With over 15 years of experience working around the world, he is now showcasing his talent here at Lanna. This is not your usual casual Thai restaurant, but aims to show you Thai flavours reimagined. Look how happy she is! Well she should be, because this butter chicken is bomb! If you can eat spicy food, you'll love this. It has quite a kick to it and the portion is super regenous! And even of you don't eat spicy you can ask for mild, but don't ask for no spicy, cuz I think it'll be lacking in taste. we often get used to prepackaged foods, instant, dry, quick foods. Everything is made for convenience. Hardly is there any thing made the artisanal way anymore. It's the way real food is made, and it's going to make you think "shit I can't eat packaged foods again". This is how I feel about store bought pasta after going to @famiglia_baldassarre with @travellinfoodie. Amazing!!! I was particularly fond of the white bean ragout. It was just so satiating 😚 I made a similar but vegan sauce for the pasta at a potluck and everyone loved it.
