What do you do when life hands you lemons? You make a beautiful flatlay out of it!!! Serious! There are some sour things things you’ll encounter in your life but you don’t have to take it to heart, just keep doing you! AND as you blossom or the season changes, even if your season is later than others, yours will be just as beautiful if not more magnificent because you took an extra second to refine yourself before you got to the end! I’ve just been thinking about a lot of my dearest and wanted to send them a thought of positivity if they’ve been missing me as I miss them! I know that every time I feel a little down, I just need a simple recharge and how I do that is just grab a quick coffee or dinner date with my likeminded friends and with our energies bouncing off of each other, inspired feelings come naturally. Obsessed with creating! Yep - this girl is tying up her hair and putting on some dirty cloths so that she can start painting and splattering acrylic every which way!.... Can I confess that I have more photographer friends than I have any other friends? You’d think it’s cause I “want to keep my competition closer” but actually we have great honest relationships. I think we’ve found common issues that we’ve undergone and love that we can lean on each other for support. Although we’re not getting pregnant anytime soon, I just know that when/if it happens, I have a handful of photographer friends who I can call “in case” someone needs to cover a wedding for me. Why am I even bringing this up? This is not an easy subject but - I get that question a lot in consultations - “do you have a backup photographer in case something should happen?” Don’t worry, I plan to shoot all my weddings and if I was not able due to planned circumstances like a pregnancy - I’d let you know way ahead of time but under acts outside of my control - you will still be taken care of. Today, I’m honored to share that I’m heading out to assist as a primary photographer because a friend is in a similar situation.
